Hi everyone! ❤️ Here are some timestamps: 0:23 Icing consistency 1:03 Using a Stencil Genie 2:37 Using magnets to hold your stencil 4:02 Common mistake - thin icing, smudged design 4:55 Common mistake - too thick, too little icing
As a professional pastry chef for nearly 40 years I only have one thing to say, Hooray! I am definitely going to purchase the square holder and several of your stencils. I think I could also make some of my own customized stencils because, I own a Circut Maker.
Whoa.... Wait... What? You can make your own custom stencils with a Circut Maker?? Be Still My Heart... Holy Moly... This is a Game Changer... Can you tell me more?
Videos are so helpful with clear instruction. I am going to try to use royal icing on the stencil instead of air brushing as I feel the raised texture is more appealing to me. We have our company logo that is a 3x3 so I hope this works on a smaller scale.
This helps sooo much, thank you! But, another thing I want to know is how to stencil multiple cookies without having to wash the stencil every time. It seems as if even if I don't have icing bleed underneath, the stencil still carries over dried icing from each cookie. What am I doing wrong? I've never seen a video demonstrating stenciling multiple cookies with the same stencil, back to back, assembly line fashion.
Tracy, you can certainly use a stencil multiple times! As you use stencils more, you'll learn to reduce that "underspray" where the color gets under the stencil. If you need to pat the stencil on a paper towel between cookies that could work too.
Do you have to wash the stencil every single time you use on a cookie?? Like, use the royal icing on first cookie, WASH and then use on second cookie?? taking forever??? thank you
Thanks so much for your very detailed tutorial. I do have a query though. In your demonstration you used a stencil with full words... How do you handle the lettering when you need to make up your own words, ie. a name or a message? I guess this method doesn't work, right?
Wow! This is amazing! Where can I find that particular stencil? What is the thickness? And how do I order it to be that particular size? I would really appreciate your help on this 🤗🥰
THe Stencil, as we ll as all other products, are available on our website www.thecookiecountess.com/products/baby-coming-soon-stencil?_pos=1&_sid=dd691a6ba&_ss=r Stencils Only coming in the size listed.
Can I know on how long shall I wait for second icing coat once done the first icing decoration? Example for a face cookie, how long after I can draw eyes/lip after completing the face colour icing?
Thank you for this video! LOVE your products and video tutorials. Can you please help with writing the recipe you used for the icing on this cookie video? I am not sure how to make the icing ..I purchased the natural colors from Cookie Countess and I think I will purchase your Merengue Powder too but I don't like using artificial flavors or bad chemicals in my food... not sure if you added anything artificial in your icing recipe. Please help =)
Wouldn't there be a bit of lift away from the cookie with the magnets?.... That is my only concern as I would live to use the genie but not all stencils fit it. The magnets sound more practical
Sorry, just seeing this! You can use more or less magnets to match the height of your cookie. Once you get the hang of it, it does make it very easy! I hope that helps.
Erm but in the runnier icing consistency demo you scrapped in all directions (so of course of course it would do what you said in the first demo i.e. seep under the stencil) whereas with the stiffer icing consistency you only scrolled in one direction (horizontally). 🙄🙄🙄

a tip : you can watch series at InstaFlixxer. Me and my gf have been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Merrick Christian Yup, been using instaflixxer for months myself =)

Still waiting for an answer... please
This is exactly what i was looking for! I wasn't sure if the stencil genie worked well with royal icing. But now i know that it does! Thank you :)
I could have used this video a week ago when I made 12 dozen stenciled cookies. Finally got the hang, but had to redo a few. lol! I'm subscribed now.
Wow, 12 dozen! That's a ton! Amazing!
Honestly, even your failed cookies look pretty darn good.
Just thinking the same!
Where can I get a stencil genie holder and accessories like scraper, non slip pad, extender for thick cookies and adapter for round stencils.

This was super helpful! I just tried stenciling for the first time and it went well!
Love this. How long did you let cookie dry before doing the stencil? Thanks 😊
I’m a beginner and this is very helpful! Thank you :)
Your instructions are super clear and very helpful!
Hi how long did you dry your cookie before placing the other icing on top ?

How do you get your flood icing so perfect on your cookie??
Great instruction. Thank you
Great video! Hello from next door in West Warwick. 😀

Very Good!!! I am from Brazil. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thanks so much! This was very helpful.
I adore the shape of that cookie. Is that a cutter you sell? Could you leave a link. 🙏🏼😊
Thank you for this. Made my own stencils today and could not get the icing to look as crisp as the first one.
Can I know on how long shall I wait for second icing coat once done the first icing decoration? Example for a face cookie, how long after I can draw eyes/lip after completing the face colour icing?
👏👏👏 thanks from Chile 🇨🇱
Happy to help! Thank you for watching.
So when you did the last example did you use the same consistency as the first and just use less icing to show what happens?
Thank you for this video! LOVE your products and video tutorials. Can you please help with writing the recipe you used for the icing on this cookie video? How do you apply this technique with small round stencils?
Where can I get Christmas stencils?
Can you also pipe it on thw cookie then scrap it??
Yes, some people do that! Just be sure to use stiff icing as shown in the video. Thanks!
Wouldn't there be a bit of lift away from the cookie with the magnets?....

Is there a way to get those stencils customized?
Hi Jess! We do not make custom stencils.
Where did you get the stencil holder?
She sells that holder on her website. I just purchased one myself
Do you wipe off your stencil between cookies?
I find I only need to wipe my stencils every 6-8 cookies. It may be different for you!
Where do I get the stencil genie? I’ve searched your website
I found it under tools
😊😊😊😊
How do you make your iwn stencil??
Sorry we don't have experience with that! All our stencils are made on an industrial laser cutter.
Great video, thanks for the tips!
Love this!!!
is it reusable?
