Wow that’s is awesome man whether your Mom or Grandma. Impressive she doesn’t get sea sick. Good for you man. I wish I can take my Mom or My Dad go fishing. Make her happy man 👏👍🏼
Just about finished off my 1st bottle of Chipotle Tabasco from your suggestion last season! Awesome stuff! Yeah, I don’t get this new 2 Vermillion thing? Down here in SD is the same, lots on V’s out there…makes NO sense. Last trip out we got limits of Bocaccio as well.
They still havent officially adopted the purposed 2024 regulations yet. So the 2023 regs are still in effect. I have been checking their website daily and still no set date.
one of the best Salsa Huichol Hot Sauce , find it at food for less or your local Mexican market like north gate or Gonzalas for $1.25, I buy a dozen at a time, my whole family loves it. Nice Video, was that 300' or less you were hitting?
@@fluentfishing They did away with the canary bag limit. I think its part of the 10 R/F limit now. 2 vermilion and 1 copper as part of the 10 total. They really don't know what they're doing!
Oh man regs sound awful. Sounds you like really gotta maximize time on water. Target as many different species as possible to increase the amount of fish coming home
@@fluentfishing LOL it's tough for you Cali boys... I live in Phoenix and Puerto Penasco on the East side of the Sea of Cortez is only a 3.5 hour drive. Plus, because of the port of entry we use and the relationship between AZ and Sonora we don't need a TIP or FM2/FM3. I come and go with my boat, no paperwork, nothing. My AZ boat registration is all I need. The whole bullshit you guys in Cali have to deal with going down to Baja is crazy. Bracelet for the islands south of SD, TIP for the boat, passport and FM2 travel visa. We don't need any of that going down from Phoenix.
@@MexicoPescadoro Well that sucks for us haha. Yea that is the main reason I havent done it in my boat yet. So annoying. Thats rad it is easy access for you though I am jealous!
I've fileted fish my entire life and that's the best way I've seen. Makes perfect sense, less waste. Thanks!
Glad it helped! I have been taking bits and pieces from everyone I have watched over the years haha

Nicely done. Enjoying all your fishing videos. Tight lines !

Saw you guys at the launch ramp Saturday afternoon. Good chatting with you guys.
It was good talking to you too!
Nice day at cat, glad to see you back on the salt
Feels good to be back on it haha
That desending device is cool !
Yea it is nice to have!

Haha it is so good! Yea, I can't wrap my head around the new regs to be honest.
Back to being a fisherman-Catch n cook...heck yeah!!! You charter ?
Finally getting some good weather haha. I don't currently charter but have been looking into it.
Gotta jump on that when you decide to charter bro
@@markgonzales9555 Right on I appreciate that!
Hey I'll have to come out with you guys one day. I'll be the camera man, lol. I also have my drone for that aerial footage.
Yea I definitely need to get into the drone game haha
what’s that rod you are using?
Most of them were the Turners Californian rods I believe. They were Olivers haha
what do you mean by "at the time of recording our limit is 4 per person" isnt it 2 from opener?

@@fluentfishing can you send me a link so when I go I can show proof of they ask?

Thanks for the tip I will have to give it a try!
Feel you bro. More reasons for private boaters to share resources for spots of non vermillions 😂
That is a good point!
Scorpion Tabasco try some it’s Hot 😜😜😜
That sounds dangerous haha I will give it a try
Charman hot Sause is the shit
I will put it on the list!
Squidtrex is deadly!!!
It really is! Going to give it more time this year for sure.
Those are Canary R/F, not Vermilion R/F. You could have caught more Reds!😜
Interesting, I will have to double check those two but we errored on the side of caution haha.

Poison DDT barrels arround Catalina bottom.
Do not eat fish
Thanks for sending me down that rabbit hole. Pretty wild

Thats very true. I have been spending time trying to find some good sculpin spots to suppliment the incoming rockfish regs
@@fluentfishing I was also thinking how quick and easy it is to put a few perch on the boat at Catalina as well.
Good thing I fish in Mexico. No regulations there... lol
I need to get the paperwork for my boat to go down there thats for sure!

The new regs are crap. Period.
Couldnt have said it better myself.
All those are coppers buddy and everything with the red color is not a verm
Might as well just close the season for the year. Ain’t even worth going out
Especially with gas prices. One drop and go home 😂
