hey FF, found your channel through landshark and i am from san clemente/west coast so thus i became a fan/subscriber of your channel. figure id share my family ceviche recipe with ya if you would like to try.... typically we use only pelagics but ive always wanted to try sheepshead as well. typically we use a half of yellowtail unless its a rat and we use the whole fish....cubed... cover fish in lime juice ( sometimes i add a little lemon juice for flavor )....add sea salt and valentina hot sauce... mix it all up , put in fridge while its cooking dice some veggies 3 celery sticks diced 3 carrots shredded 2 spicy jalapenos or 3 if they dont smell spicy 1 or 2 tomatoes diced... 2 small romas is what i use 1/3 of an onion diced 1 head of cilantro mix veggies with fish put on tostadas and then have yourself a day with cold cervezas

I wish my Grandfather was still alive, he could tell you the stories on marine life. He lived on Catalina and did some commercial sword fishing. I remember him tell me of 20' Giant Squid.

Saw a video taken in South Pacific off New Zealand of fishing boat hooking a HUGE MARLIN. This was all on video i guess for a channel. There was a skin diver in the water filming the marlin along side the boat. Diver was approx 20yds away and 15' under water when all of a sudden you heard the diver yell and saw something move by really fast. Diver got right side up and filmed the BIGGEST mako i have ever seen attacking the marlin along side the boat. That mako made the boat look small... The marlin lost his tail to the mako but i think the marlin was about 12'? anyway it was SCARY AWESOME to watch
