let go of the urge to change or control the narcissist. the idiot narcissist is a broken person that you cannot fix.
control yourself instead and let that be enough. when they cannot take away your self control, it is GAME OVER for them.

I have done exactly that thanks to all the nice videos like this. Fled to another far away country, basking in the sun, enjoying myself and sounding really annoyed when the narc idiot husband calls. He is only ''allowed" one call a month.
Idiot behaving extremely nicely. But for some reason, that irritates me to the limit!
I learned long ago to stay non-reactive. I don't respond with words or body language to any bait they offer.
I keep conversations short and to the point. I keep my thoughts and opinions to myself
Best stoic approach towards those people or any who are looking to get you in an emotional bait
I literally just started this strategy this week and it does work oh my goodness wish I would of done this so much earlier could of saved so much stress and decades of my life
Nice! What type of narc are you dealing with if I may ask? An overt, covert, malignant one etc
The grocery store clerk analogy is super helpful. Provides a real life, easily accessible reference point to inform all interactions.

In divine timing when i prayed to be free from narcissistic person in my life, the moment i finished prayer i seen in my youtube on computer videos of Danielle, i subscribed to channel, she is totaly right about the narcissistic people they are pure evil that will never change and we should eject such who torment us from life totaly and never get them back at all!
Definitely can relate, unfortunately, to this. The best way to deal with a narcissist is to just not deal with them. I went through a very broken phase with the relationship ending and realized that I had to limit any interaction with her for my own emotional well-being. I'm so much better off. She seems to be spiraling out of control because she's still stuck with her demons. She's frantically searching for my replacement before our divorce is finalized. It's crazy to watch. Meanwhile, I'm living in peace and enjoying life again.

I have so many conflicting things popping up on this UA-cam that only serve to confuse me, one thing I'm starting to really feel certain about as I run over everything in my brain, is that your teachings seem to be what line up the most.
What you are saying is Golden, right on the mark.
What you're saying has to be the one & only truth of the situation.
It has to be what I delt with, there's no way it could be anything else, and I MUST follow your instructions in order to survive , overcome this,& move on& foward.
Yeah Danielle's stuff is golden. I too find other channels confusing and conflicting.

There seems to be a repeating pattern in this life/ world that makes me wonder though if it's more than just narcissism.
I'm starting to wonder if certain people are just luckier than others on this planet.
Maybe the narcissists do have childhood trauma that has evolved into their adulthood and created their devastating bad behavior but is there also another element to the story& maybe they're trying their best with the situation at hand?
Although for me if feels like honesty hurts less than lies, I can see how hard it would be for the other person in the scenario?
Maybe it's time for me to except my seemingly reality?

How could it be that I've ran into that many narcissists in this life.
Am i a magnet for some strange reason.
I'm in no way making excuses for people's bad behaviors, I just don't want to hurt someone who did give me the world prior to her bad behavior kicking in so it's extremely hard for my heart & mind to condemn her.
Maybe judge is a better word then condem.

Maybe sometimes people do care about someone as they say , but they don't have the courage to tell them the truth for fear of hurting their feelings so they beat around the bush & try to put in hints and & readings between the lines, so the person on the receiving end ends up feeling like why would this person do this to me when I like them so much I'd sacrifice my life for them?
I'm guessing it's a case of not too many people are courageous enough to come forward with their true feelings for fear of hurting others/ also an element of narcissism/ psychopathy?
