Setting boundaries is self-care (try not to use negative wording in the affirmations instead of saying not selfish, try replacing it) the subconscious brain can't always differentiate the NOT before selfish

So glad you're doing these videos, wish you had been around 30 years ago. wish laptops were too! could of saved myself, my marriage, less pain, my poor kids' pain fro divorce, etc. My mom, divorced, never had time for me and all i ever wanted was a family. I had that for 30ish years, only to realize I'd married a narc and that most of what I thought we had between us was false. My mom worked and worked and worked, and complained (just as you described). i worked and worked too to be the best mother to 3, i didn't complain, I loved my family, but guess what, today none of them care. BIG lesson.

I love this session again! I'm going on a date(?) meet-up(?) tomorrow and listening to this helped to remind me to take things easy and to be in my divine feminine power. I've been using it with the recent guys that I'm talking to and I really find that it's more empowering for me. Not that I am trying to illicit a certain action or reaction from them, but to keep myself more level headed since I know I am naturally a romantic with rose-coloured glasses. Being in my feminine is to protect me more than it is to get any guy, and it is for me to learn kindness, compassion, and empathy for myself. In this way, I heal my wounds, and lift my self esteem and raise value in my own eyes so that I won't feel depressed or down. I have developed feelings for a friend (man) after almost 2 years of being just friends. He is my next door neighbor and there is no way of getting around seeing him every day. I am anxious and he is avoidant (of course) I told him how I felt a couple of months ago and he said he did not think he could ever love anyone expect his long term girlfriend of 25 yrs that died about 2 1/2 yrs ago. He treats me like a girlfriend except the physical affection. Everyone in our community thinks we are a couple. We are older and I am torn between just trying to be happy with the companionship but I keep wanting more. Since I get so many mixed messages I am not sure how we really feels. This is causing me emotional pain. All the experts say tell him to figure it out and leave but that is physically not possible. He is a very kind, good man that I really do want to have in my life. How do I get rid of the pain? and be happy being just friends and companions?
Don't be friends with him again. Find something else to find you occupied. Withdraw your attention, let him miss you, sometimes that can make him realise that he needs you in his life. Don't give him any explanations though. Start a new hobby, watch a new series, read a book, do something that will keep you busy for at least two weeks. When he asks give him excuses, don't tell him you are taking your space. Keep him wondering why you suddenly don't have that time for him anymore. Try it for two weeks and also reduce communication. People are not special, we make them special because of the way we feel about them.
He is confused and sounds like he really, genuinely likes you, but sounds like he's stuck. You need to step back, take your power back and let him feel the void of your presence. It might make him realize he actually likes and appreciates you more than the realizes because he's comfortable with what you guys have or what you are providing. I'd say step back, don't be as available, etc. and let him come to you.

Having that confidence in those busier, harder or just stagnant moments is so important and that sparked extra confidence in me that those times are ok! And they do not set you back.
Can you do a talk on how to handle the “little” annoyances that build up in marriage. Husband always late. Lack of communication when you have kids, etc. how do you set boundaries and also not build resentment but get change 🤷🏻♀️ … you know… find the balance in the LONG TERM

I constantly live in fight or flight mode and I am constantly thinking and planning. And this is causing adrenal high cortisol reaction in my body.. it`s all a mess.

I have signed up for your seminar. I might be the opposite of what you are describing here. I’m very independent, self-sufficient, I enjoy my own company. I consider myself to have high self-esteem but I have a tendency to panic when I’m in a relationship and I run. It’s almost like I’m going to be locked up and locked into this relationship. I have told myself this happens because this is not the right relationship. But is that correct thinking? Now I’m beginning to wonder.
