To be clear, it’s solid 18k gold, not plated. But there’s a coating of rhodium on top of the gold. So you’re not missing out on any precious metal- it just won’t look as bright in its old age. 😂

Chronographs need to have the information on the watch somewhere. Rolex Daytona its on the bezel. This one does not have a bezel so you get the info on the dial.
