The correct answer is Panzer Dragoon. I would also accept Shining Force. Maybe even Alex Kidd, although he did get a remaster recently of his most well known game. Virtua Fighter and Sakura Wars come to mind, except one is rumoured to have its long-awaited sixth entry in development, and the other got a new game, not too long ago. I dunno if Space Harrier really needs to come back. It was one good game that still gets ported all over the place. You could argue that it's a spinoff of Fantasy Zone. In any case, I don't think a sequel would add much.
Hey Melody, at 7:31 there's some quickly flashing lights that may trigger some people's epilepsy. I know this video is like, 2 years old and you've probably had this mentioned already, but still thought it good to bring attention to just in case.
The thirst for a new Jet Set Radio got recently quenched with the release of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk which is a really good spiritual successor which I'm really happy about
As for 8, 6, 4, and 3. Shenron: "your wish has been granted" in a way im kinda glad the video is outdated, and Im happy to see Shinobi get a new game as well
Fortunately, in recent years we saw the return of Samba de Amigo and the Sonic franchise into a more respected IP. Not only that but it was recently announced that Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage (again), Shinobi, Golden Axe, and Crazy Taxi are coming back with more to be announced next year. It is also rumored that Comix Zone, Guardian Heroes, and Skies of Arcadia might come back in some way, so the future for Sega looks bright for now
Your top 5 are also some of my most awaited franchise to see return, and I also think Billy Hatcher is very underrated. I also was born a few years after the release of the game and have not been able to play it. However, from what I've seen, it honestly looks like a fun game that would be great to see rereleased or get a sequel with more content
the creator that spawned billy hatcher does want to create a sequel one day. so with sega ReWave (yeah that's what i'm call it) I hope to see some ips get back on track in the next years.
I've been craving for a new Billy Htacher game for so long I doubt it will ever happen, It's one of my favorite gamecube games to revisit, it's peak comfort game for me
Sega's already released a new Samba de Amigo game since this video released, and Golden Axe, Crazy Taxi, and Jet Set Radio are getting revived. Let's hope Sega comes through for the rest of the IPs on this list
oh my god thank you melody nosurname, ive been looking for Golden Axe for years and years ever since i played it as a kid on my genesis my parents got me
Kinda looking forward to what Sega might bring back in addition to what was shown on the Game Awards. I’d love to see a version of Skies of Arcadia for modern consoles maybe with an orchestral score. I would love to see a new Comix Zone or Dynamite Cop. I never played Burning Rangers but I’d love to see it make a comeback.
Knew that Vectorman was gonna pop onto the screen the moment the first note of his Ocean Level Music played XD Was wondering when he was gonna show up on the list. They did actually make some concepts for a potential 3rd Vectorman game on the Saturn but it never ended up getting made.
Oh man i never played Ecco but i was OBSESSED with it as a kid. I would listen to the soundtrack on loop in hopes that it would make me weirder It did btw
Damn, 2023 made this video outdated in some ways There's no mention of the canceled Vectorman 3, Samba de Amigo: Party Central! or Bomb Rush Cyberfunk anywhere in this video, which is such a shame but the two of you who made this video didn't know about this stuff at the time so I don't blame you for not putting it in. Despite that stuff not being in this video, this video is still great.
sega's game design back then was like jazz. it was close to juuust right. but it would be slightly off. and a lot of people prefer it slightly off! it neat :V
Dude i still play billy hatcher to this day on my gamecube, this is so fucking cathartic for me. I first found out about this game through a demo disk way back in the 2000s, and i begged my mom to see if we could get it. Lo and behold, we were able to get a copy of it, its one of my favorite gamecube games :)
What about Rhythm Thief and (a franchise so obscure its games were only released in Japan and no one has made a fan translation of either one yet) Hero Bank? Those are SEGA IPs!
holy crap every now and again i forget ark of the cosmos is a thing in sonic riders and not just my ign and get jumpscared by someone saying it. thank you melody nosurname for giving me a heart attack 2 hours after i woke up
Billy Hatcher I feel would be a good choice for a remake/remaster. Vectorman, Ristar, and Trauma Center were great. Would love to see them come back in some fashion, especially Vectorman.

@@VIDEOGAMEVIDEOGAMEVIDEOGAME Lol, if he ask for Bug, I can see why you could'nt ask for Floigan Bros ;). Yoh, who did not know that game (Dreamcast library, all that).
My GIGANTIC problem with Samba de Amigo is that the developers made no research on Brazil whatsoever or if they did, it was poor at best. Amigo looks like he is Mexican inspired and besides the samba dancers, very little about the aesthetic of the game reminds me of Brazil. It's nothing new to have my country misrepresented but it annoys me still.
I can't believe that no one ever talks about the 7th Dragon franchise. Yes, its latest game was on the 3DS, in 2015, but the fanbase is straight up NONEXISTENT. And I just don't understand, aside from it not being translated to English before 7th Dragon III: Code VFD came out, how no one knows about it! It even had a demo on the 3ds. AND HATSUNE FREAKING MIKU was in not one, but TWO OF THE GAMES. Like, is there really no one with at least an obscure memory of playing the 3DS demo ? even as a kid? It had a JSR reference? And a Yugioh parody? 7th Dragon players, anyone??
Sega is toying the JSR community to the dirt, after that leaked video people is like yessss I mean the leak looks legit so maybe Sega will bring a JSR3 to the table. Heck we got BRCF and it works well and has soul to JSRF fr.
how has literally nobody here mentioned afterburner we got four games, two of which are just the same thing with a difference in hardware and one of which isn't officially accessible in its full form anymore, and the last ones locked in PSP jail its been a decade since climax got delisted i just wanna play this game sega
Hi! I know I'm late but I honestly can't believe I forgot Space Harrier! If I hadn't forgotten, it'd probably be like #5 or something lol.

Nintendo fans complaining about not getting a new F-Zero don’t know the pain of being a Sega fan.
F-Zero is a sega franchise as half of the big releases and 1/3 of the series overall really
@@carlosemilio5180 There's upcoming game called Aero GPX, that takes inspiration from F-zero GX.
I bet, I feel bad for sega guys but I sure love f zero

They'd have to come to an arrangement with Treasure for Guardian Heroes
