Dollar General commits to safer stores with addition of safety managers, reduced inventory

Dollar General has agreed to pay a $12 million fine and improve safety conditions at its thousands of retail stores nationwide, the U.S. Department of Labor said Thursday.

EVERY TIME I go into a Dollar General store, the employees are standing around on the phone or talking to other employees while the stock JUST SITS THERE.
Very few employees are concerned with customers, stock, safety or actual WORK.
I've had cashiers who ring up my purchase AND NEVER SAY A SINGLE WORD, because they're so wrapped up in whatever's going on on their telephone. 😡😡😡
Maybe START WITH DECENT EMPLOYEES who LIKE TO WORK instead of hiring garbage employees. 😡

I feel like these types of lawsuits will eventually trickle down to the consumer 🥴 Closing store will come after that. Lower economical areas will catch the bad end

I don't mind the some of the house have things in them if a shooter comes in I can hide behind it and then try to get to the exit they are not blocked I've been in several of them they was not blocked
