This is why I love the mpc so much. You can make the same cut and stretch type corrections like you did with serato except with the mpc you're turning cool little knobs to do it. Different strokes for different folks but the tactile approach is one thing that keeps me making beats. Also the new haircut is just as beautiful as the eyelashes
I use maschine rnrn and I loveee it. But I have to say sometimes because of how it slices samples and the lack of a FULL arranger, you’re a bit limited with how you can manipulate samples. If I was flipping a full song and wanted to draw from parts :45 seconds In and parts 2:17, my workflow would be quicker in say fruity loops than Maschine. Not to say that it’s impossible in maschine, but it’s better for chopping up short samples in my humble opinion.

i know it's expensive but Izotope music rebalance can fix the problems like claps, removing kicks but not the bass, etc. It lets you separate the stems using some kinda ai and it's pretty good (you can level 4 elements, vocals, drums, bass, and "other" which is everything else)

I'm team drums, if you match your drums with the ones in the sample, you can come up with a pretty cool bounce... but don't forget to filter the sample, otherwise you'll end up with a mess lmao
Hey Navie, I had 2 questions 1. how would you use MS Eq 2. how would you make a Stereo mix sound good in mono? BTW very hungry for some werid and unusual sounds and music.
I don't use MS Eq really. I have a course member in my Discord named Karasama who is very well versed on using it, and his beats sound great. I would recommend reaching out to him to ask him about MS Eq As for the second question, the issue that commonly happens is that your stereo sounds will disappear and sound feint when put into mono. So often, bringing them a lot more closer into the middle and getting your beat to still sound good is how mixing in mono will help
