I think I agree. I like having more than one volume to read at a time but 3 in 1s are just too big
3-in-1s are only good if they're a lot taller or hardcover but some manga you can't get otherwise like shaman king or InuYasha
3-in-1 light novels for slayers, full metal panic!, katanagatari and the huge omnibus editions from yen press are amazing though
I really wish Shaman King got the trim size of the other Kodansha omnis
I assumed heart gear was cancelled long ago
