I would hate for seasons to be locked into the actual real life seasons. If they implement the 4 seasons then they would have occur way more often than only once every 9 months

An actual story, larger bases (Or at least more useful ones), better character designs, more weapons/tools/vehicles against the undead.
A more garden variety enemies like animal zombies or elite bandits that wanna attack you or your base.
More use out of your companions. I hate having to do everything myself. Have them scavenge, complete assignments for other enclaves, eliminate zombie hordes or infestation.
Let them be exhausted when they come back or maybe even hurt. It'll get me incentives to train the guys and raise their stats so they can do things better.
More base facilities, traps for the outposts. Allow us to impose dominance over others by becoming super OP (EX: Providing alcohol and food for influence and other goods, or maybe becoming the bad WARLORD we've always wanted to be.)
If they can add about half of that into the game, you've already got a buyer.

I think the last time I've been as excited for a game as I am SoD3, it was a Halo game... I know it's probably going to have a "modern game launch" with a lot of issues... but I'm so hyped for SoD3 it's nuts 😅

1000% agree with you about being glad Undead Labs didn't just go the easy route and make this yet another pvp mmo! There's already so many of those out there so I'm happy State of Decay will remain State of Decay!

good speculations all around... one stretch i would add is that one of the characters looks to have a scar across her cheek, Geoffery Card once or twice has made mention how interesting it would be if survivors could amputate to avoid the plague..maybe our characters receive permanent scars as 'badges of honor' for surviving close calls?

I'd say the first trailer depiicted the singleplayer, the new one the 4 player-coop. Also, the first showed us new things like weather and zombie animals where the second trailer was basically a reimagening of the..i guess second(?) trailer for state of decay 2. But anyways, cannot wait for the game to come out!

the second trailer is just state of decay 2. Its because they were forced to present trailer they have deadline but they dont have game yet.
True, in essence weve already seen those things, except the melee weapon the guy was holding. Hopefully they stop working too much on sod2 and focus on sod3 more.
One thing I noticed in the second trailer.. after the character died... No one took the place of that character there were only 3 in the car, so if you die in Co op do they block you from spawning in with another member of your community??? 😁

One thing about the 1st trailer is that it was made by another studio so I've heard it has nothing to do with SoD3. Guess we will see? 🤷♂️

Would love to see Zombie Lords that come in a thick fog making it hard to see all around you as smaller zombies begin attacking you from within the fog.
This could be an interesting idea.
They could be a pretty rare and dangerous encounter, the fog could give a passive buff to nearby zombies.
It'd be a pretty cool idea also, if one of your highest level survivors, with near maxed out stats, were to die and turn from blood plague, then they would become a Zombie Lord.

It is nice to experience online coop for sod. Problem is we all want to build our own bases so im not sure how that works. Also griefing and troll players trolling.

I think this is a sizzle real. Nothing to indicate gameplay. The dino keychain could be a call back to one of the "flavor" radio messages in SOD2. There's a network guy who says how he deals with death is keeping something from people who died.

This looks awesome, just wish we had a date. That isn’t to pressure to release it earlier than it should be, please. TAKE YOUR TIME UNDEAD LABS. We don’t need another uncooked game. We don’t necessarily need perfection but knowing undead labs, they’ll make a fire game.

What if the token feature is a two way system? Offline it’s a collection system where as online it would be how you revive a players lost character by bringing it back home

I loved State of Decay the original and played it for years. They made a lame update of the Original. Then State of Decay 2 came out and it's pretty fun but not like the original. And now 3. Hmmm.

Well... I have seen gameplay in Unrecord. And compared to this there are worlds between in terms of graphics and visuals. For a Tripple AAA game and with the UE5 I am not that impressed here. This here is a little better than the actual state of SOD2. I expected graphics and gameplay like they shown us in the first trailer years ago. Come on, compared to the first trailer this is clearly a downgrade.

Well first off the old trailer looked like something new.
The trailer showed a couple days ago looked like the same game.
Why is this team having trouble trying new ideas. Was a let down as in nothing new really shown. Everything seen can already be done on SOD2
Not trying to be a jackass here but what’s the point of comparing the two trailers? The first one was made before they even had ideas sketched out, and wasn’t made by UL or even with their input. It was NOTHING except Microsoft just drumming up anticipation and was not canon in any way shape or form
There was nothing new in the second trailer that isn't already in State of Decay 2. A huge disappointment. They need to make weather a factor. I didn't see anything in the second trailer that made me excited about State of Decay 3.
