I can't complain at all, they still have supported the game for a very long period, putting updates, i think is more than reasonable the will to focus on SOD3. They never have also put extra paying contents. So, all considering, and also see other companies behavior, respect, really. SOD2, with 7 Days to Die, will remain forever milestones for that genre.

I noticed with the new update that if your flashlight is on and it's still dark turn it off and then turn it back on and it will be much brighter

I’m glad that I have mods

The crystal clear waters and reef sourounding Midway Island, with hundreds of giant fish and sharks was so stunningly beautiful, it was hard to really process what I was witnessing. Had the privilege to see this several times from the deck of a Coast Guard Cutter.

State of Decay fans should take this last update for State of Decay 2 as great news, because it really only means one thing. State of Decay 3 is prime and and just about ready. Figure State of Decay 3 around the end of the 1st qtr of 2025 to no later than October.

They really need to add a developer setting in SOD2, it’s been out long enough and I’ve had plenty of time to get all my achievements, finish all maps on lethal, ETC. it would be stupid fun for unlimited ammo in lethal zone just mowing down wave after wave.

They're getting having no more updates for State of decay 2 while they're still so many glitches in the game it's not a perfect game. Are they at least going to are they going to fix any more of the bugs in the game.

I think SOD2 is in a good place right now so I’m ok with this next update being the final one. The devs have put so much into this game in terms of content, graphics and overall quality of life changes that I think players will still be playing until the release of SOD3. Now, will the next iteration be “the best” zombie survival game ever? Who knows. It certainly has the potential to be, especially with the amount of money and talent Microsoft has put into the studio. Either way, I still enjoy playing and can’t wait for SOD3!

I think the best zombie survival game would have more freedom on how many survivors you can have and being able to build you base anywhere. And have a map, the size of gta 5. With raiders and be able to take groups of members to raid other bases or get them to join

well, i hope it's not like a 2026 release. so it's finally coming to an end. i hope we can get some news on sod3 soon

I love SoD2 and it's in a good place... it really got more than it needed. I just wish they'd reworked boons before closing shop. They said boons were rushed and not balanced, but they never did anything to address that. But I'll definitely keep playing it until SoD3 is out.

SOD2 I feel hss been done for a while. While I'm ready for 3 I don't think it will be the best zombie survival game ever. But I do hope they stick to what they are good at with 3 and try not to experiment too much as it could be a major downfall for 3.

Excited for SOD3, so maybe they are getting "close" to production of playable environments that they need the help to finish then debug the code. SOD2 is still a mainstay of my gaming so I am sad to see that no more mods are coming, but the game is in a good place, and ready for its newer offspring. As long as the devs listened to the long time SOD gamers' suggestions as well as introducing some of their their own ideas, I think 3 could the best zombie game ever.

1. I was hoping that they would rework hostiles so that zombies/freaks could actually be used as a weapon against them. It's annoying when you're fighting hostiles, and they only attack you. 2. I was hoping that they would fix hordes and bloaters magically spawning in front of your vehicle. This is probably the biggest issue they still never fixed. It progressively gets worse the longer you play because more and zombies are on the map. It's not as bad as it used to be, but it can still be annoying.
