Bro, I don't know if you know this but Aquaman in not even half as powerful as poseidon, Aquaman who is a descendent of King Arthur who is the demigod son of poseidon so aquaman as a legacy, he won't hold a candle to poseidon and also as a matter of fact, poseidon is not only the god of seas but also earthquake, storms and marine life, so there is no way that a shark will swallow it's true lord and his other power are too op, so this is what is the power of poseidon, just wanted you to know bro. I think the story was well written, they showed Poseidon is a god and too strong for Aquaman to take on physically, it needed a two on one fight plus a distraction plus Poseidon's own weapon to even put down Poseidon, and still Poseidon wasn't injured or killed, he survived and was very fine, clearly showing he's way above Aquaman in strength and durability. They showed if it was one on one Poseidon would have destroyed Aquaman given how easy it took him to overpower Aquaman.
