- Linux Is Just AWESOME! Episode: 2 - Viewers Share Their Linux Setups | Team Linux
Episode: 2 of a series covering some of the setups my viewers have. I love the flexibility of Linux and the customization possibilities with any desktop environment. Take a look and let me know what you think in the comments below.

Wow, those debian openbox screenshots are beatiful 😍
I love your channel and love seeing what other users are doing with their Linux. I am sending you mine right now!
Thanks for chucking the photos up Troy.
Haha, yeah I get a lot of sun through that window in the morning so the towel positioned just right helps stop it LOL. I thought when I moved the office into this room, that if the monitor was on the same wall as the window it would stop the screen glare. Unfortunately that sun in the morning is pretty intense, especially ATM during summer. I probably need to move the whole setup 90deg onto the other wall, but a towel up there was quicker and easier.
Nice to see how others setup their Linux distro.
WOW Another cool Video. Great to see other Linux User, or should I say Fans , and their hardware. Linux Greetings to the community from Germany and always Thumbs Up
You have a real winner with this series!
I am currently "ricing" my Arch setup, I might share it with you when it is done, but it might be a few weeks from now.
I am a beginner, so I don't create everything from scratch, but I still do quite a bit myself.
This is what I enjoy.
Working with Wayland, Hyprland, Rofi, and the Waybar.
I enjoyed this agian. I have a lot in common with the 1st setup, HP laptop/Naboro 37. I have 4 laptops, 2 destops, and others in mothballs. Always playing around with different distros. Currently spending alot time in Naboro 37 on laptop, Zorin16.2 on main desktop, Its just works perfect since 16. Hope you/children doing well, better slow down before you burn yourself out. Haha.
I have literally thousands of photos- pretty scenes- sunset- space, tv/movie photos etc. and they ROTATE every so often as wallpaper... sometimes every hour - sometimes I make it very 12 hours or more.. but never get bored that way.
es! Weekly ricing!
Sent my email this morning.
Ya know I love my Arco, but, lately, I have a strong Regata itch...
Regata is nice... But I do feel you would go back to Arco. LOL
How do I know you have asked us to share our setup? 😂
On the last video you did about setups you were kind enough to mention my system but only regarding me leaving the default icons on Garuda. I had just installed it and hadn't had time to customize it. I didn't think that was an issue. It appearently was since you didn't say a word about my actual system setup. I guess I misunderstood what you were wanting or didn't highlight things enough. I was attempting to find a distro that runs World or Warcraft without crashing occationaly. And, yse I have installed Nobara which is what it's back on. Quite disapointing I must say.
Can you do a review on UA Linux Ubuntu Gamepack
I've tried XFCE and like it too---- but i'd miss my TLING too much-- i use Bismuth on kde to tile just like POP OS does.. and I'd miss that... I'm too use to it.. Wish I could..
How do we send this?
It's in the description of the video
What is the email?

I've tried MANY different ones lately and ALWAYS come back to my Sparky--kde-- I have it doing what I want the way I want- and nothing else- no matter how FAST or beautiful- matches it.. so- guess I'm stuck with it . ha. No need to show it- it's NOTHING fancy AT ALL-- just my simple setup.
I did try using sparky Linux with KDE...but KDE pushed out an update that downright bricked the entire operating system. That isn't to say that Sparky Linux isn't a great distro. To me it is a lot like Ubuntu without the Ubuntu part. I honestly would recommended sparky Linux to any user who is trying out Debian for the first time.
@@josephlh1690 Can't see how KDE would 'brick" anything-- must be somethign ELSE wrong. hardware issue possibly... I've run it since I first found out about it- and go back to it after every test of anything else-- and my KDE has upgraded many times since- and no issues.. MINE does it with ARCH stuff-- no matter what or which one.. just can NOt run arch at all- more than a day or two- if tht- before some of the every 5 minute updates screws it up.. I know ARCH is good too- but hardware wise mine won't run it..
@@davidwayne9982 I probably would not have had the problem if I stuck to using x11 instead of wayland. When I mentioned it bricking my operating system, I really mean it. The desktop environment would crash and seize up moments after log in. Kde has had problems like this popup from time to time throughout most of its development life.
@@josephlh1690 Good to know-- I never knew that and as I said- I've had it for a long time- with ZERO issues-- on my SPARKY--- other distros not so much. I liked SPIRAL- beautiful and neat tools- but it kept dropping the Ethernet connection after every reboot..
I recently moved from windows to Linux because of Windows 11 privacy intrusion is bad and it's going to keep getting worse.
Ha- love it--folks all switching to LINUX because of the big 3 CROOKS!!!! (Google, MS, etc.) ..
Numbaro Linnecks
2 jobs AND Linux-- does your wife and family remember what you look like?? :) (that's a load-- makes me glad to be retired- even if it WAS forced by the truck accident and PAIN)..
