When I was younger I wrote to Tim asking for an autograph. Not only did he take the time to print off a picture directly from his copy of Lost Boys and sign it he went to the post office and posted it to me in the UK himself for free. So when people ask me why I have a framed signed picture of an oiled up, pony tailed muscle man playing the saxophone I simply tell them of the absolute legend that he is and how he will always have my respect and highest regards.

I have to partially disagree with you. Definitely my #1 vampire movie and while the soundtrack is in my top 5 of greatest soundtracks of all time, it just doesn't beat "The Crow's" soundtrack. Every song, including the score, not only embodies the movie but the main character of Eric. But again like i said, the music from "The Lost Boys" definitely belongs in the top 5. It's iconic, sexy, and just all around bad ass! 🤟😊🎶

    I wanna give in
    This is our crime
    This is our sin
    But I still believe
    I still believe
    Through the pain
    And through the grief
    Through the lies
    Through the storms
    Through the cries
    And through the wars
    Oh, I still believe
    I still believe
    Flat on my back
    Out at sea
    Hopin' these waves
    Don't cover me
    I'm turned and tossed
    Upon the waves
    When the darkness comes
    I feel the grave
    But I still believe
    I still believe
    Through the cold
    And through the heat
    Through the rain
    And through the tears
    Through the crowds
    And through the cheers
    Oh, I still believe
    Oh, I still believe
    I'll march this road
    I'll climb this hill
    Upon my knees
    If I have to
    I'll take my place
    Upon this stage
I'll wait 'til the end of time
    For you like everybody else
    I'm out on my own
    Walking the streets
    Look at the faces
    That I meet
    I feel like I
    Like I wanna go home
    What do I feel?
    What do I know?
    But I still believe
    Yes, I still believe
    Through the shame
    And through the grief
    Through the heartache
    Through the tears
    Through the waiting
    Through the years
    For people like us
    In places like this
    We need all the hope
    We can get
    Oh, I still believe
    And I still believe
    Oh, I still believe

Director Joel Schumacher had thought of a prequel showing Kiefer-David's history, how he turned into a vampire after the great San Francisco earthquake of 1906. But then Schumacher got busy with other films. The studios did nothing about it and 20 years later produced some crap straight-to-DVD sequels. Imagine, a whole film based around David and we never got that. But then Kiefer was making 3 films a year by 1989 as well. Busiest actor at age 20-21.

We had to do a essay at school in 94, it was a social essay to discuss all the little niches in THE LOST BOYS, ie were he drinks the wine but is it blood, he looks at the noodles and they are worms. I spent days writing my essay while listening to the soundtrack!! SAFE TO SAY I SMASHED IT. Got an AA++👍🏻👌🏻✌🏻💪

    "'ll march this road
    - I'll climb this hill
    Upon my knees
    - If I have to!
    "
In collage I got very sick. A ran a fever at 104. I was sick for 6 weeks. My friends finally found me, in my room with steam rising from my covers. ! I was Hallucinating, very calm. Ready to just pass away into nothingness. They placed me in a tub full of ICE / WATER to bring my temp down. I was a starving art student with no insurance. Friends dragged me to a free clinic. Doctor said I was one heart beat from septic shock. It took weeks more to recover. A friend brought me the sound track to the "LOST BOYS" - This song , I listened to it every day, over and over - Tim Cappello helped me to crawl back from death's door and get better. ~ Thank you Tim!

The very first time I watched The Lost Boys in 1987, I immediately recognized the amusement park. The Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk. My friends and I visited the boardwalk several times when we were teens.
    In 1987 I was 23.
The roller coaster is named the Giant Dipper. The podium where singer/ saxophonist Tim Cappelo entertained from I passed by several times on the skytram.
I loved his performance in The Lost Boys. And one hell of a vampire movie.
I haven't seen Santa Cruz since 1978. Many wonderful memories.

That song is just amazing. The sax, the dancing, the girl dancing and then him looking at her like "god I've just fallen in love". This was one of my deceased partners favourite films and soundtracks and it takes me back to him when I hear these songs. Especially this, he loved it. He'd blast this and 'Cry Little Sister' the most but he loved the whole sound track. And I love it when I'm reminded of him. RIP Danny. This is listened to for you to remember all those memories of dancing together to this.
