16:35 AWI roleplaying is niche, but not "never" - C13 for JAGS was 2001, Sons of Liberty was 2008, Revolutionaries is about 5-6 years old, Flames of Freedom adapts the Zweihander system but is a bit mystical/conspiracy-theory-heavy vs straight history, Colonial Gothic can be played w/o a bunch of the supernatural stuff. Renaissance Deluxe has the Rogers Rangers supplement that's an easy entry point, too
I would love if there were people doing a COIN teach in Essen, as in Europe you don’t have such a wargaming convention or any convention with war games. Essen seems to be the only place I can imagine where it could be done. It is however a long trek for you unless maybe GMT would sponsor you.
Which of these games would you buy if you could only get one of them?: White Star Rising, Upgraded 2nd Edition (by Lock and Load), Crossing the Line - Aachen 1944 (Vucca), or Traces of War (Vucca).
Sounds interesting. Thank you for the update! I can see why Roll Players' interests would overlap with war gamers. Coming back on multiple days to continue the same game is normal for both groups. Buckeye Game Fest is now on my radar.
I tried all the way to 1:51 to remove that speck off of my screen and then you brushed it away! 😆

LaBattaile - you should try the SIMPLIFIED rules system. Put out by some French guy...

Well, if you contact GMT and ask them to fly us over and put us up, I’ll run three sessions a day!

Where are you located?
One of these days I will need to attend. Grant, I like the new shirt.
Such a great time!

The comment about Columbus downtown being safe made me laugh
Lol… no doubt.
It seemed safe to us. Maybe we weren't out after midnight though.
Thanks very much. This is great. But I do miss the car….
Car will make a return at WBC!
…and the lap blanket.
Were you required to wear the muzzle?
