I watch a lot of bass fishing channels, probably too many, but you have become my instant favorite. Big fish, cool gear, and a nutty and refreshing sense of humor!! Love it!
i just bought a kayak about three days ago. it's the best investment!!!! you can get in to the coolest places to fish like you guys. can't wait to go at again!
I was just gonna comment how this is one of my favorite episodes, then I noticed the comments below,I just fished with Chad Hoover yesterday, all my backyard spots, the weather was horrible and crystal clear slam full of grass and Chad was catching them like it was early fall,I wish you guys could meet him and see how cool of a dude he actually is
Medium to medium heavy for most applications for the power. For the action, I would suggest a moderate to fast action, then an extra fast action for some small plastics and smaller spinner baits, small cranks and other downsized lures. - Chad
Hi guys, Can you do a video on tactics/tips you employ to stay effective in the wind. Casting angles, standing up and flipping, keeping your kayak at the right distance from shore during a drift. Things like that.
any chance to see all the episodes in order? im saving up for a new kayak this fall/winter. till then im getting by learning and watching you guys and everyone else on the tube!
A 6'6" to 7' medium power spinning rod with a 2500 size reel. A 7' M or MH crankbait rod with a moderate to moderate fast action. The medium power rod would be ideal for shallow and lighter crankbaits where the medium heavy would be better suited for heavier cranks and deep divers. A 7'2" MH Fast or Extra Fast action rod for T-Rigs, C-Rigs, jigs and spinnerbaits. A 7'6"+ heavy power rod for frogging, pitching, flipping. That should pretty much cover the majority of techniques.
It's a Leverage Landing net. It will be available from YakAttack again in a couple of weeks. Keep an eye out for a giveaway here in a couple of weeks as well.
Nice video! Do you have to apply for license and registration for your kayak? What are the things required by the law for a person to bring with him before he can use his kayak on the water? Thanks a lot for sharing your videos?
+KayakBassinTV how do I sign up?! Hahaha. Thanks again. Your videos have inspired me and my wife! We are now both saving for two kayaks! Thanks for the info and the fishing tips!
Get a better seat, and if possible get a kayak you can stand up on, I put a rope in the front of my bow that I use to help stand up in my Malibu X-factor. Helps a lot.
Fixing to get me a kayak and do some bass tournament fishing. How would you get info on the KBF fishing trail. Is this on tv also and what channel. Thanks
you dont have to have a permit or registered with the state or anything like that. I dont know about where you are but here in georgia you have to have a PFD with you (not on) and a signaling whistle
Wow such a great video. I just have one question. Well im getting a kayak, and i don't know which one to get. My budget is 400 dollars or 450. I really want a sit in kayak. Which one would you prefer? Or if anybody else reads this comment can anyone help me? Any suggestions? Thanks.
Don't own a kayak and haven't really fished much; nonetheless I really enjoyed the episode. Great personalities throughout. And as they say...nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.
Hey chad I have a question, I'm looking at kayaks and not looking to spend a lot of money since I'm so new to kayak fishing (I've only been once with a friend). Is the Lifetime Hydros 85 a good beginner kayak if you are not looking to spend a lot of money?
I am not really familiar with those. But I would look at the Perception line of kayaks if you are looking for affordability and still get a quality product.
can anyone tell me a good kayak that I could get for about 100-200 dollars for kayak fishing with my friends in Lake Norman or the surrounding area thanks!
I like this video. Great looking bass and it looks like everyone had a good time. However, when Chad was comparing himself to a bass in the spring, and referring to himself as a finely honed fishing machine, I literally fell out of my chair and LMO! Alright Chad...consider yourself challenged, just you and me, a pose down in front of the ladies...we'll see who the ultimate fishing machine is. Be warned though, my wife calls me her teddy bear, so it will be close.
