If this kayak had the type of hatch that the pro angler has..you know the one that when you open it the tackle boxes lift up..it would be perfect. The junk drawer is nice but if you flip you risk losing you tackle. But that being said I do love this kayak....I want one.
I know what it's like fishing on your home waters it's the one place I can catch fish. I love to fish even when I'm not good at it but it's more about getting out there
Love Palomar on everything.. switched to it couple years ago and had nothing but success with it.. some times it takes some tying planning but I love it.. Love how you showed the angle of 12" off the bottom
Nice to see someone who loves the beauty of fishing and nature. Teaching and sharing their knowledge about the sport and not worried bout the popularity and cinematic side of their channel to an extent. Thanx for all u have done for our country and for what u do now. 🤙🏻
MD Bassin that’s called a parting line and it is much more pronounced on a prototype. The Kayaks that I was using in this video are prototypes and aren’t quite as clean looking as a production model.
Chad Hoover ok... I thought it was still a prototype. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful or anything towards you or Bonafide I just noticed it and thought I'd ask. Sorry if it came off that way
Hey Chad: Saw you getting results with squarebill crankbaits. Would love to know which of 4 combinations you've had more success with: 3ft rattling, 3ft silent, 5ft rattling, 5ft silent (since I don't want to buy all 4 combinations in each color I buy).
Thank you Chad, you just made my weekend. I’m a Southern boy that has been transplanted into the Northeast and I have been missing home. I’m tiered on the 9 to 5 grind and just want my office to be home. I hear what your saying and I’m trying to get there. Keep up the inspirational work. SaltyDogKayakFisherman out!
hey I'm looking at getting a new kayak and the bonafide is looking good. hate to ask your height and weight but I'm 6'4" and around 375lb and I hope to lose some weight but right now my height and weight is my biggest concern in getting a kayak. also I'd like to get something good for saltwater. any info or feedback is greatly appreciated. great channel by the way. I hope to do some vids myself in the near future. thanks again.
Very nicely put together video , very impressed, you tube isn't worthy of content of that caliber, felt like I was watching outdoor channel, excellent shots, editing , voice over, that's how you tell a story!!!
Rowdy Broomstick thanks Rowdy, I am just blessed with the opportunity to be able to create content and work with some very talented people. I’m glad you like it and I truly appreciate the support.
Yeah, Chad the beginning of this year has been a grind with the extreme cold freezes we've had in Mid Tn. I think finding the fish has been the most difficult that I've ever experienced.
I've got to get back to drop shots... been doing nothing but salt lately and don't use it there. Chad ya need to come South Ms or La and hit the reds with me sometime
I subscribed. First time watching your vids, but I love your genuine approach to teaching throughout the entire process... and clean, crisp no loud music edits. blissful and educational. keep up the quality work Chad!!

Kelly Mason thank you! Much appreciated
What's up with the seam on that yak? It's budged out in some areas and flat with small holes in it in other areas. 8 to 10 second mark

Have you ever fished the susquehanna river in dauphin county
Trout Bum yes I have. Love that area. Going back there this year for the first time in several years
Interesting little fact... All the biggest bass in Toledo are originally spawned and hatched on the Texas side ;) at least thats how I heard it.
Michael Miers there is some truth to that, but it’s not 100% true. 😜
Chad Hoover I’ve caught many bass around Pendleton Bridge area. Christmas trees sunk under bridge for awesome speck fishing. My favorite lake also.
love the vid
Fishing Channel thank you!
what are you using to record? GoPro? 5 or 6? Which do you prefer?

That boat sits real low in the water! Go Navy! Spent 8 years in myself

acnjshink i would agree. That’s why i have focused on river fishing or headed South. LOL

Yakinbass SoCal yes it was!!

Shane Miller All Pro Rods! It’s my company and we are relaunching the brand next week.
Chad Hoover thank you sir.
Hey Chad what do you think of Perception kayaks? Just bought a Pescador Pro 120
Hunter Nixon he has an older video and he actually recommends that exact kayak as a great entry level kayak.
Hunter Nixon I think they are great Kayaks for getting started.
I've got to get back to drop shots... been doing nothing but salt lately and don't use it there. Chad ya need to come South Ms or La and hit the reds with me sometime
Give me a shout when you are in the area, don't live far maybe we could hit the water together
