I am most proud everyday of the 40 year marriage and the AMAZING MATE GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻 I started many years ago laying my hands on my husband nightly and praying a prayer of THANKSGIVING for him. I have now started praying that GOD BLESSES OUR SONS with spouses who will love and include us as my parents and in laws loved and included each other as well.

Are you a wife that listen to his day, all the things he wants to do, the stresses that he’s feeling and future things he wants the do, and you still adore home want to have strong working emotional
And physical connection. Then you are a thriving wife and having a abundant relationship. Same for the husband when the two invest into each other, makes the wedding the rings the house the kids and everything in between worth it.
I appreciate this advice, and I intend to apply it to my future marriage. I think what causes most marriages to fail today is that one of the partners, usually the husband, becomes less of a priority especially when the children arrive. And I think that's unjust; that's unfair; besides, he was there first. I intend to honor the marriage vows by loving my husband: giving him attention, affection, some space if he needs it. Granted, I'm not married yet and I probably won't be for a few more years, but my boyfriend and I have a vision for what our marriage would be like and it is one where we're each other's first. (Well, God is first and each other follows accordingly, but you know what I mean.) We were best friends first and we're still each other's best friend as we entered a romantic relationship. We can't wait to be married.

I think if the couple's relationship with God is number one, then it will be easier to love as God loves. When the relationship with God is wanting, then it becomes more difficult to love another without the strength that comes from loving God first.
When a man chooses to do this it changes the whole dynamic of marriage, it changes him, it lets the man have more power since he is choosing to act differently then he naturally would. Not sure yet how empowering it is for the women. Lets not forget women have come a long way, to just give that power away seems wrong. Any thoughts?
If people don't spend time with the ONE they married, why did they get married?
