if you start early then you can cover both places in one day.. but beware last cable car of the day on both of these places stops functioning around 5 pm. We recommend to do Stanserhorn & Rigi on same day (as cable car/train from rigi functions till late in the evening). and keep Titlis & Lucerne city tour /boat ride etc for same day.. So you get sufficient time to spend on these places & dnt have to rush
If one has the swiss travel pass, must we book a time slot for the cable car to ascend up the mountain? Or do we just turn up and get in the cable car on first come first serve basis?
When did you go guys ? I mean in which month - Looks like May/June...If feasible please let me know we are going in June this year so would get an idea on the weather
I am not sure if stroller can fit in to the gates of wooden funicular..also at 03:00 mins you will notice that there are couple of stairs.. probably if the stroller is foldable then you can take it..
I would suggest not to follow our timings.. as we got very little time to spend on the top (hardly 15 mins) and every thing was already closed by that time..and time may vary depending on the activities you are performing on the top.. You may hike or enjoy food at the revolving restaurant or do paragliding etc (we did nothing) .. For us the highlight of the place was the double deck open top cable car cabrio & the mesmerizing views from top..
In the video we have suggested to start early in the day if you want to cover 2 points .. FYI last cable car at stanserhorn was at 5:15 pm despite longer days in summer .. so always verify the cable car timings & plan according else you might have to walk all the way down.

I would suggest to cover Stanserhorn 1st & then go to Rigi.. as transport options in Rigi runs till late evening (I guess till 7 pm), you can verify exact time on rigi.ch.. after our trip we realized that we should have covered it 1st (in 2 hours & then go to next place)
We are living in Luzern since 2015 but never visited any of the mountain peaks mentioned here in the video. I hope this summer we have time to travel. Inn sha ALLAH

With STP you can go straight to the entrance.. No need to go to ticket office. 01:33

it takes 30 minutes from base station at Stans to the cable car Top station, then it depends on you how much time you spend at the top.

Time Slot booking is not mandated. However if it is crowded then you might have to wait for long to get into the cable car.
