I'm blown away by just how beautiful it all is. If I had the chance to pack up my daughter and myself and our 6 cats, 3 dogs,1 guinea pig and 1 Opossum and leave Oklahoma city forever to live a new life there I'd do it in a heart beat! ITS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! ❤️

You gotta love engineers. The whole thing is a engineering miracle! And then the view! If you got the fear of heights or distrust in big crazy machines (or both) it would probably give you trauma. But the the view is almost worth dying for, lol. I would never get tired of living in Switzerland, it's my favorite country

Perhaps in another country I would not risk visiting such cable cars, but in Switzerland safety is more important for people and they do not prioritize making more money, they would rather refuse the trip if they find a malfunction, and will not endanger people if you saw that they allow a certain number of people on board and that is the free space. It's very cheap to go there, the hostel's are not high at all. You can find one cheap for just two people. Food is reasonable too, just find the out-of-the way little mom&pop diners and don't spend on the fancy fixin's. The CabriO is really cheap for what you get. But I would like to find the most risky and dangerous and scary of them all. I travel with my son to all the most scary roller-coasters in the world (well, you don't have to travel the world because most of the good ones are concentrated in very few places.)
What I love so much about the cable car is it actually doesnt get much above tall tree level, its a bit of an illusion because lt stays level to the side of the mountain,, so much easier and less scary than cable cars that take you over a sheer drop.
Switzerland and Austria are my favorite European countries.....i am of Italian and German decent....born in California.....we have Big Bear that looks like this ...we have ski lifts doing winter it looks like this....we know Europe is on a whole different level 😮

I was surprised how these people go down with tourists all day long, how they can withstand such a load.🙌🫶🏻
You missed something, by the Funicular, if you go to the side of the Building, you can have a look at the Drivetrain and the Electricmotor, the big Gearbox. Also you can ask and most likely they will let you inside the technical room of the Funicular, thats what i did a few years back. Sadly they wont let you into the technical room of the big Cablecar cause its quite cramped and dangerous.

On some days in May it was hot, now the weather is rainy and the temperature is 15-22 depending on the region; it is always colder in the mountains.🫶🏻😁🙌
