- NASA rolled out the world’s most powerful rocket this week at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, transporting the 322 ft tall SLS and Orion spacecraft to launch pad 39B for launch as soon as Aug 29. At liftoff the mammoth rocket will unleash nearly 9 million lbs of thrust, 15% more than the Apollo Saturn V, sending Orion on a month-long uncrewed flight test to the moon and back. As it conducts various checkouts and tests, Orion’s lunar orbit will fly from 62 miles above the moon, to as far as 40,000, which will make it the furthest flight of any spacecraft ever made for humans.
Upon a successful flight test & safe return to Earth, NASA will announce the first crew, who will fly on Artemis-2. The first landing will occur on Artemis-3

I can't wait! A whole new generation of americans will get to experience manned moon missions.
space launch system - nasa's time to show what it can do but its 8 years late and way over the cost estimate's for the SLS
Por que no crear una verdadera nave en la actualidad ya tenemos toda la tegnolojia 🤷🏿♂️
Zero emission goals, but still these ambitious projects.
What a roalercoaster this is.
In 1969 America was the 1st country to send men thru the Van Allen radiation belts. In 2022 America will become the 2nd.
Except this time with half-decent protection.
