I think Snipple or Tonic DNA are like a modern-day version of TMS. In the sense that these studios often provide the best animation for recent WB animated shows. While I don’t personally think they will ever live up to the standards that TMS set for high quality TV animation, this is basically as good as it gets(in terms of WB shows specifically, if I was just talking about modern TV animation in general, Flying Bark Productions would definitely win over any other studio).

It was confirmed by Len Kiraly that Buster and Babs would be presented as twin siblings in the reboot, as opposed to close friends (later romantic pair). This decision was heavily criticized by fans of the original series and Tom Ruegger, as this contradicted their original relationship as being a couple, and would mean the series would lack their catchphrase/running gag "No relation."
The film is such a classic for so many. And the animation was phenomenal. But what it reminds me of was how big cartoons were back then. Not flash or computer style today where it doesn't feel traditional like pencil to paper. It still felt real, you know?
It’s hard to believe there were more episodes after this movie! To me, it was the pinnacle of the entire series, and would’ve been a great finale if that’s the way they would’ve gone.
Yeah the "Wheels on the Bus" Tiny Toons reference was in "The Contest" episode of Seinfeld. It was never actually shown on screen, and to my knowledge there wasn't any singing of "Wheels on the Bus" on TT, probably just a throwaway line mentioning a show that sounded kiddie, but it's a connection, small as can be, nonetheless!
I have this one on VHS. Amusingly, the show never got a proper release in my country but they did release the movie for purchase. I'd love for both the show, the specials and the movie to get a BD or at least DVD release in Europe, but such things happen really rarely these days. ^_^'
@@ItsTheGooseItsTheGoose But isn't that a release on streaming services? Such are like the worst kind of replacement if you are somebody who actually wants to own something. I have a list of shows and movies by now that are held hostage on streaming services and that I cannot have any hope for getting to have physically because the directing companies behind such wish to save the productions costs and keep folks at a leash with that modern platform system. It might be on one side neat becasue it might give also smaller animation projects a chance to live on a large syndication but then again, all the bigger projects are also affected by the negative side of that they can just vault shows at any point and you have to keep subscribing just to watch minimum a specific movie/show on there freely.
The slow death of physical media is disheartening, especially with the real possibilities of streaming services able to be shut down at any time, or just losing the rights to air certain shows. There’s a very real chance a show may be stuck in an unwatchable limbo for an unknown amount of time. Long live VHS and DVD.
@@ItsTheGooseItsTheGoose Oh, absolutely. There is also the part of syndications of a show that had a unique dub that just disappears the moment when the certain country stops running the show anywhere. For example I grew up with Nickelodeon and except for a handful of their shows most never received a disc release here. I am really happy to have " Hey Arnold!" on dic here but with for example "Rugrats" I never can get any other version but the English one that I had to import from the US. What's also stupid is how some newer shows that got broadcasted in HD only receive an SD release on DVD. "Steven Universe" or "TMNT2012" are some examples there. Anything from WB in the 90s I'd basically have to either get from the US or I'd have zero chance on a proper release nowadays. Don't get me started on lots of CN and old Hanna-Barbera stuff. Here in Europe such are pretty much non-existing by now. Really such a shame.
9:47 It's not TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, it's DELIVERANCE. Uh. If you don't know the significance of that, brace yourself for some disturbing sh*t if you decide to look it up.
Buster and Babs floating down the river is definitely like Deliverance. I just thought that the family of opposums wanting eat them was like the family in Texas Chainsaw Massacre!
I have no doubt that this movie's straight to home video release was inspired by how DuckTales The Movie bombed at the box office and basically killed that series original run sadly.
I never saw this one anywhere, so lol, tainted childhood. The TV network in the UK was too cheap to air it, or it was on Sky? A few people mentioned it a few years ago but I didn't look it up. A shame as it's really good, funny, and I was missing out! I did see Tiny Toons' Night Ghoulery and Wakko's Wish EVERYWHERE though.
“first direct to video animated film”? GI Joe waives hello- was exactly that and due to more serious reason: its sister franchise’s animated movie flopped hard. The Tiny Toons movie was a direct victim of that realization, Spielberg didn’t want his name associated with a flop!
Since I've been paying attention to the Fifi La Fume online chat video series; Juliet Shelton has made one complaint, about the Fifi La Fume cosplay video series. She thinks it's all about; dealing with sexual perversion, when it's really not. And now there's nothing wrong; with seeing Fifi La Fume; dressed up like Snow White, even though she's not wearing a pair of panty hose and shoes. Sometimes she's dressed in her school clothes, sometimes she dressed up like the Acme LOONIVERSITY cheerleader. She first came dressed up in her seafoam green sleepwear. Of course you'll know for sure that, there's no erotic behavior going on. 👗 😍 👌 😀 😎 😄 👗
Revolutionary based on that it was initially supposed to be a theatrical release, but was instead released on home video. For "feature film level" content to premier on a smaller scale as thought at the time, that was the game changer. That's according to what I researched though. I'd be happy to know what the first one was though if I'm mistaken!

It was never actually shown on screen, and to my knowledge there wasn't any singing of "Wheels on the Bus" on TT, probably just a throwaway line mentioning a show that sounded kiddie, but it's a connection, small as can be, nonetheless!
@@ItsTheGooseItsTheGoose Yeah it was probably just a small joke
I quote this movie on a semi daily basis.
So many great lines!
"It's my obsess-yoné!"
* Creepy TOAD captain*
He sure is!
I watched the film once on Hulu.
It's well worth the watch!
I have this one on VHS. Amusingly, the show never got a proper release in my country but they did release the movie for purchase. I'd love for both the show, the specials and the movie to get a BD or at least DVD release in Europe, but such things happen really rarely these days. ^_^'
Perhaps with the new Looniversity show releasing soon there may be hope yet! 🙏
I’ll never understand the disparity of home releases some countries face. How hard is it to just let people watch and own cartoons!
Too bad Monty didn’t get a role, but this movie was still great despite that.
I agree. At least he made an appearance in Night Ghoulery!
Yeah! That is my favorite special!
It’s always about Elmyra who has been overused so many times and I hope Monty can be used more than her in the reboot.
Well Elmira apparently won’t be in the reboot so maybe this will be Monty’s triumphant return!
@@ItsTheGooseItsTheGoose That would be splendid!!
This movie was/ is the best
It's the summer special of my childhood!
Hmm yes tiny toons lore
And with the new reboot coming soon, there's about to be a whole more lore!
I remember this
I hope it's a pleasant memory!

It's not TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, it's DELIVERANCE.
Uh. If you don't know the significance of that, brace yourself for some disturbing sh*t if you decide to look it up.
Buster and Babs floating down the river is definitely like Deliverance. I just thought that the family of opposums wanting eat them was like the family in Texas Chainsaw Massacre!
@@ItsTheGooseItsTheGoose Ah. Okay. Gotcha. That makes sense. Thanks for the vid--and the reminder of how funny this movie was/is!
I am happy that I watched this movie and keep watching it and I would be greatfull to die watching it.
Now that's passion!
Can someone tell me what the movies called and how I can watch it please
The movie is called "Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation"!
TMS also did the fruits basket reboot
They do a lot of work!
oh for joy oh for rapure hooray for rockwell and the letterman ha ha you cant go
You had friends?
I did. They were just animated and not real.
“first direct to video animated film”?
GI Joe waives hello- was exactly that and due to more serious reason: its sister franchise’s animated movie flopped hard. The Tiny Toons movie was a direct victim of that realization, Spielberg didn’t want his name associated with a flop!
why the video backwards
It's my attempt to avoid copyright strikes as I learn the endlessly confusing world of UA-cam legality.
its HAPPY WORLD land
Noted, thank you!
Hope U.K. viewing is coming to we done have HuLu at all
If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re in for a treat! Crossing my fingers you get it on streaming or find a copy of the video cassette on the street!

I’m not familiar with the series but it definitely seems like there’s a lot to analyze!
Hello
Howdy!

This is a decent animated film at best... Not revolutionary.
3:03 This is just an absurdly incorrect statement. Lol.
Revolutionary based on that it was initially supposed to be a theatrical release, but was instead released on home video. For "feature film level" content to premier on a smaller scale as thought at the time, that was the game changer. That's according to what I researched though. I'd be happy to know what the first one was though if I'm mistaken!
Let's just call it a difference of opinion then. It's revisionist history as far as I see it.
