Morden: What do you want? Vir: I'd like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I'd want to look up into your lifeless eyes and wave like this. Can you and your associates arrange that for me, Mister Morden?
I have always been rather fond of Mr Morden. He can be a little goofy, such as when he just grinned at Londo in the lift, but he can be unnerving and really comes across as lizard-like.
I always rated the actor Ed Wasser. For me he played the role of Morden brilliantly, just the right balance of appearing affable while carrying underlying Menace!
Trivia: Mr. Morden was born on Monday, 25 May 2223. Only problem is, 25 May 2223 will be a Sunday. Someone dropped a leap-year when calculating it out.
There is something different about that beautiful picture of Melissa Gilbert sitting on the doctors Gurnee smiling at Bruce... I'll bet my bottom dollar she made sure to think of her love for Bruce while getting that perfect authentic Shadow smile...
There is nothing depressing about good sci-fi shows being popular. To me it is only depressing that Babylon 5 Crusade was meddled with so much that it had to be cancelled.
I used to think that too but now i see that hardcore B5 fans such as myself tend to have a little more depth to us than the average die-hard Jedi fans, i thinking that you also have some extra depth too?
The actor playing Mr Morden, was also among the cast on the command deck in The Gathering. It would have been cool if he had been the character, and later went to za,ha Dum. Mind you, Garibaldi was in that movie too,so I am sure he would have recognized him

Hahaha thats too funny. In the Bible, in the Book of Revelations the city of Babylon will rise up at the end of time. Theologians know that it's not the actual city of Babylon the Ancient One. So they dubbed this city mystery Babylon. Odd coincidence?😎👍
Apparently with Icarus, you'd be in the minority. Only two people agreed to serve Shadows willingly: Morden and Dr. Churlstein, who became the first emissary and relayed the terms rest of the crew. And only three of the crew were killed, albeit not by shadows directly. Dr. Churlstein and Dr. Chang were killed by the Psi corps agent that lost her marbles and tried to escape, only to be killed in a cave in. The rest got nice new career as Shadow vessel CPUs. Anna was actually one of the ships that was present in battle of quadrant 37.
I guess the Bruce got some kicks from literally nuking his real wife :D even if in a movie :D - Dont get me wrong i bet he love her but the thought must have been amusing anyway :D

Mr Morden gives me the creeps , actor did a good job
What do you want? My favorite response to that was Vir's.
Yup, mine too. His wave was classic. 😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained Sounds like a Psi Corp plan.

Mistake - or Shadow coverup?
Or IPX, I guess.
Nice job!
I wish the Borg could get to the Shadows -- though assimilating them might upset the Borg's tummies!
In a way, the Borg have encountered the Shadows. You could say Species 8472 is the Star Trek version of the Shadows.

So depressing that star wars and star trek are more popular than Babylon 5
Star trek was around for 30 years before B5, Star wars nearly 20, of course they will be more popular.

Fun fact ZahadUm could be loosely translated to MysteryUm from some slavic languages. Not a coincidence as the writer has polish roots.

Good work, though I was hoping for some details about the "eyes" of Z'ha'dum? ;-)
Thank you 😎👍
I have watched this show many times over the years and not once did I recognize Anna Sheridan as Laura Ingels.
Was the sparkly purple shit necessary?
At the time I thought it was. I found later it wasn't
