I’m actually reading a comic book by J Michael Straczynski call telepaths and though I have not watched a single episode of Babylon five I’ve been commenting on what I’ve been reading on Twitter and someone commented under my post with the comment prequel to PSI Corps. So I googled it and here I am interesting to know I am a fan of the writing of this book so I think I need to start watching Babylon five
Absolutely! Babylon 5 rocks. There is so much going on all the time you'll see something new every watch through. Dont watch my show it will ruin the actual one😎👍
In '19, I started to watch Babylon 5 and was also researching the Temple of Set. The first time I saw Bester, I thought to myself, "Man, him and Michael Aquino look very similar". Odd how I never read of any mention about Babylon 5 in any of Aquino's writings.
Telepathy was possibly the only known weapon the psi corp had to cut through minbari stealth but they wouldn't allow the alliance military to use it because it meant telepaths could die.
Apparently the Minbari war happened because of a "misunderstanding". JUST THINK: what if Telepaths had been allowed to be on space voyages and handle First Contact. Instead of being repressed, massacred and shoved into ghettos. Stupid Earthlings with their prejudices deserved what they got.
Dark Genesis - The Birth of the Psi Corps by J. Gregory Keyes Deadly Relations - Bester Ascendant by J. Gregory Keyes Final Reckoning - The Fate of Bester by J. Gregory Keyes I believe it's in the third book of the trilogy. 😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained I have those books, seemed like the 3rd one skipped a huge chunk of what happened. In general the storyline is so confusing I feel like giving up. I just finished watching B5, no closure there.
@woodswalker88 I believe there were some comic books as well, I'm not 100% though. And you may want to dip into Crusade, it was nowhere near as good as Babylon 5 but it might shed a little light, though I'm not sure there either
I wonder how Bester would feel if he knew that the telepaths were created to be weapons, when he claimed that mundanes were more numerous and should be put in front lines and telepaths were more important and shouldn't be wasted!
Telepathy would have been the way to handle First Contact with aliens. Imagine if such a gift existed and it could be peacefully integrated into society.
You know it was a good and bad thing, yes I would have loved to see Garibaldi get his righteous revenge against bester, but it did show that he has grown in his Humanity. And was happy with him just being in prison the rest of his life.😎👍

Bester was a great character, easily one of the best sci-fi villains, and far more nuanced than most.
There were three books about Psi-Corps - Dark Genesis, Deadly Relations, and Final Reckoning.
Now in April of 2020, this quote is *really* appropriate:
