- The History of Babylon 5
Special thanks to RoyaltyFreeTube for an awesome background!
Minbari are bipedal humanoids in appearance with a distinctive bony antler-like head ridges that grow from the temples, wrapping back around to the nape of the neck and up to the crown.
By and large, Minbari are completely bald, possessing very little body hair beyond eyelashes, though in a slight oddity some males have been known to be able to grow beards. This may be a simple genetic throwback or ethnic variation as even on Earth, certain groups are themselves less capable of facial hair growth. Minbari earlobes are small compared to those of humans or Centauri and are located at the base of the neck, just below the mandibular angle. I cannot have an aide who will not look up,you will be forever walking into things. -Dukhat to Delenn and Delenn to Lennier. Thanks for the video.
Hey you bet! That was a great line!😎👍
Marcus: Next time you want a revelation, try not to make it,,,,,so,,,,,,, uncomfortable.
Naroon: 😂😂😂😂
😄😄😄Hahaha
Garibaldi: What did he look like?
Sheridan: Bald, with a bone in his bead!
Keep in mind that Sinclair became Mimbari and could have carried the facial hair into the Mimbari genetic line .. conjecture of course.
That's what I thought, what happened.😎👍
This is covered in one of the books though I don't remember which one. It was stated that a Mimbari was a Child of Valen due to his facial hair.
_Exactly what i was thinkin as well._
Wonderful stories, "OMEGA" ...so many details missed in the series ...some were intellectually stimulating, others prompted tears ... Luvved story of "Dellenn" .... 💞
Thank you Pearl! Delenn was the best! She will be missed dearly...😎👍
I used to watch babylon 5. Completed the entire series. They are my favorite alien race next to the centauri.
Used to watch the odd episodes I'm gonna buy the boxset next pay check
Didn't delenns assistant drink a Shirley Temple once, nothing happened to him drinking the alcohol
Those who can grow facial hair were born with the derivation gene of Valen, who is known to us as Sinclair
Aahh yes The Minbari otherwise known as the Space Elves of Babylon 5. LOTR is strong with this series
Yes, I always noticed some of the similarities. A ancient enemy returns and the races unite and again prepare for war. Mordor = Z'ha'dum. Lorien is a place in LOTR, while in babylon 5 it is a character.
Haha never noticed that until I read your post. But definitely space elves haha
Lots of D&D references throughout B5 and particularly Crusade (wizard, rogue, paladin, fighter)
This was not a discussion of Minbari history but more of Minbari culture and physiology. Could you please actually do a video on their history?
I'll look into it.😎👍
I would love to see a Minbari with antler like crest and the other Minbari think they’re crazy 😂
Hahaha😆🤣😅

He says of the. _ULTIMATE._ lightweights...
Mimbari are the oldest SPACE FAIRING of the younger races.
Delen even said Humans are older and of we weren't governed by our emotions we'd walk the Stars like the Giants we are.
I don’t know, Minbaris seemed to be much more emotional than humans in the series...
@@juzoli They do not.
@@DeerLodgeBlog They are. Delenn was quite emotional, their whole government was based on religion, which was broken up by inner fights, also there was the former Black Star captain seeking for revenge who seemed to be quite angry etc...
Nothing like the Vulcans in Star Trek.
@@juzoli They had emotion for sure, and after Delenn becomes part human as far as I'm concerned, she's not relevant to the topic. Not to be a dick, but she's not 100%.
But yeah, they could be emotional, but not they weren't ruled by their emotions. The warriors got emotional and started a war, but I looked at it as more of fear, and a strategic move on their part, not understanding what was going on, and why.
However, the human civil war was based on greed, and a power grab, based solely on another groups greed, and their power grab, which I look at as far more egregious, and more emotion based.
I don't think anyone was saying that they were vulcans.
In the movie "In The Beginning," Londo literally states that the Minbari are one the oldest space faring races.
Any plans to start a Bitchute channel? I'm trying to find all my fave you tube channels on that site.
I don't know what that is. What is it?😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained bitchute.com It's a site that is like you tube. Lots of the chans I subscibe here, I also do there. It's like a site to be on in case you get tossed from you tube. I've had an account there for over a year. And they don't censor at all.
George Quinn thank you ill check that out 😎👍
Hey thanks for the heads up! I'll probably start a backup Channel there.😎👍
There more of a mix of space elves and barbarians.
Too true😎👍
I think the minbari most have some other race or lifeform thy use or used to kill one another at some point. Even if this was only used on the dangerously psychopathic.
I think way back and they did kill each other.😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained know thy did before the time in the past. I just can not believe the Medari never need to kill at lest 1 member of there race in 1000s. Maybe this is why the Rangers were made up of different races
History of the Minbari. There was absolutely no history at all in this entire video!
You seem to repeat facts you've already said earlier in the video, are you just reading from another source like a cue card?
Try and mix it up a little, avoid reading out the same parts twice.
Thanks for the input! I believe the first Parts kind of an overview and then gets more into detail later. I'll consider cutting the first part out.😎👍
