me, too, prob. I got a chance to tell the boys at a show how much their music has meant to me. I told them that there are significant stretches of my life where King's X music was the soundtrack to my life, to the extent that hearing the songs evokes all the experiences of that period of my life. I honestly don't know what greater compliment a musician could ever receive
King's X is one of those rare bands that are completely respected by their peers and you'll never find a bad thing said about them. KX is truly an amazing collective. They're musicians musicians....no doubt about it.
This song makes me get up and start moving, doing the things I need to do, realizing that we have only so much time in this world and our life could be over tomorrow.
Never could understand why more people aren't into Kings-X. So many ultra famous bands talk about Kings-X and how great they are. So much feeling. So under rated. I see them EVERY time they come around.
I saw them in Quebec years ago. They opened for Satch, who opened for DT. I wish it had been just a double bill , KX ended up getting only a 45 minute set.
Danke King's X !! Viel persönliches Glück Euch !!!!!
nothing like KingsX pumping on my custom 1000Watt system going down the road in my Shelby and watching everyone stare and wonder who the fuck is he listening to...
@@arongamman9360 Notes from King's X - The Oral History , from Jerry..... He was missing for some of the recording of Ear Candy due to family crisis, and such, he was only available for limited amount of vocal recording sessions. Other than 'American Cheese', he only supplied vocals on 'Sometime'. Glenn Phillips from Toad The Wet Sprocket provided backing vocals in his place.
If this song hits your soul, then you totally GET what King's X is all about..
Simply a song of vision, a masterpiece.
Anyone that understands this will always be a friend of mine ..

King's X rules. That is all. I feel really sorry for those that don't appreciate them. They are missing out big time.
Audio Fidelity preach!
unfortunately it took me 31 years...maybe they were way ahead of my musical taste when I was 15. It was all Metallica for me then.
@@pantera6543 I was also into Metal but find that this level of songwriting/composition to be so much more satisfying!
