“Three spaghetti dishes at three *drastically* different price points”
_Goes from a 15$ dish to 18$ dish_
Why does this have no replies even though it has 600 likes?
@@mrrandom7292 well now it does 😂
Then to 38 dollars then to 138
3$ is a lot to a certain person
@@sebastianallendes6138 In that case 15$ isn't a cheap dish. Anyway I think they could have found something cheaper for the cheap dish
I love how much Steven and Andrew's friendship has grown from the beginning of this show till now.
Simon James i love how Steven is soft for Adam
lol yass
Season 1: Steven trying very hard to be Andrew’s friend
I came to the comments looking for this comments after tons of videos while watching this exact same one, I had exactly the same thought. Andrew never would have complimented some beet pun in the beginning.
so much that they can share a plate of pasta.
0:17 "What is a singular spaghetti?"
Adam : Speghetto
Steven : Spaghett
Adam : **INTENSE STARING**
lmao 😂
Steven: What is the singular spaghetti?
Adam: (quietly) speghetto
Steven: Speget
...30 MINUTES LATER...
Andrew: SPAGHETTI FACT!
Andrew: spaghetto is the singular form of spaghetti.
Steven: WhAt NoO
Andrew: did we already talk about this earlier?
Adam: told ya
@@chaeiekim891 You can FEEL the vindication coming off of Adam
Adam: *menacing*
I thought he, (Adam) was thinking... Dummy.
"It starts at 38$" so basically Steven and Andrew added on over 100$ worth of Truffle..... 😂😅
Ya not sure why that racked up so much. Doubt they needed 15 grams of truffle
Probably for the video. The most expensive spaghetti 38 dollars doesn’t sound as cool however 143 is better for the views
Zed yes it would
it's crazy how that menu only costs 38$ !
You know Steven, he needs his truffle.
Why do I watch these when there is no food at home😂
Chrysoula my stomach is grumbling !! 😩
Chrysoula if u had food u would be eating and not watching videos..
Because your poor
Stay pure o'child of heaven
I guess that we like torturing ourselves 😂
I need some spaghetti too
$38 for that lobster pasta is a steal, it'd be fine without all the truffle on top
Casey Douglas I’d get maybe 2 grams of the truffle so it evens out to 52$. Shame I don’t live in LA.
ID TAKE A GRAM SO ITS 45$ AND AFTER TAXES IT COME OUT TO AN EXACT 50$@@sablonanime650
did you ever eat truffle or your just jealous
Casey Douglas truffle is really good but I don’t want to much so I’d get 2-4 grams.
Was not a steal I'll tell u tht rn😂
Those portions were ass
Spaghetti: "an american classic"
Italians: "am i a joke to you??"
The Gaming Knight they said Spaghetti AND Meatballs is an American Classic. Spaghetti and Meatballs is not a traditional Italian combination
Jeremy Xu Spaghetti and meatballs: ”an american Classic”
Swedes: ”Am i a joke to you?”
The Gaming Knight spaghetti and meatballs is not an Italian dish
It is an American classic
I swear Americans see something made by other cultures, make it fatty and ruin it and shout “MINE!”
These fellas have like, legit character arcs. In the beginning, Steven groused about Andrew’s puns, and Andrew constantly tried to avoid “cheers”ing the first bites. Now, Steven is making his own puns and Andrew is offering up his spaghetti-laden fork for an enthusiastic “cheers”.
They caught up to each other.
And Adam is Adam as always..😃😃
This time stamp, Adam is becoming a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle bit more chattery
This time stamp, Adam is becoming a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle bit more chattery
Watching with my 4 year old...comments and questions:
“Are they brothers?”
“Do they live together like a family?”
“Is that boy in the back very shy?”
“They eat lots.”
“They talk lots.”
“They so lucky eating spaghetti”
Tamara Bisseker How cute!!!!
Super cute. ☺️
All very good observations for a four year old! What a precious little heart!
I can imagine!
Tamara Bisseker you have to tell him that adam is a cinammon roll too good for this world ;)
These two have the best job in the world lol
yea and im jealous
Your so right!!!!
Corruptor : Am i a joke to you?
Also Adam
U really notice their relationship growth when u notice steven making puns instead of criticizing andrew for making them 😂
Aalen Sprouse yes pastably 😅♥️
To answer Steven's question at 8:14, in Western cultures it is considered rude to slurp food, or just eating loud in general. In most Asian cultures, it is considered a compliment to slurp a noodle dish as it shows enthusiasm and enjoyment to your food.
Not really all of Asian, just Japanese Ramen in particular
@@weixinong3877 Koreans also like it when you slurp while eating food because you make noise when the dish is delicious.
The noises to compliment the chef thing is actually kind of a myth. Jun’s Kitchen covers this pretty well (Japanese chef UA-camr)
I thought its just something thats excepted
As an Asian, if you slurp at the table, you're getting the smack, at least in my family.
Steve and Andrew: "One spaghetto + one spaghetto is spaghetti"
Me, an Intellectual: "Spaghettwo"
You indeed sound very intellectual.
I stan. 👏👏👏👏👏
I'm reaching here but "i" (이) is two in Korean so it works 😂😂
Ulfrang lmao
HAHA RT
**Einstein: Hold up**
Funny thing is you can feel that their friendship have evolved along with the show lol
J ellowpy the bromance is beautiful!
I was just coming to see if anyone else thought that too.
Jamie and Adam from Mythbusters didn't have a friendship. Penn and Teller don't interact outside of work. Looking like there's chemistry is part of the entertainment industry.
KC Familam true. I’m glad their acting has gotten much better then 😂😂🙌🏼
Same goes to Sheringham and Cole, Matsumoto and Hamada
"How do you know there's enough truffle."
"When it's black."
AKA the more money you spend.
Why do I get satisfaction from watching people eat great food?
I do when I'm on a diet to get rid of my food cravings
Rose Griffths it’s the opposite for me
"3 drastically different prices"
*$15 vs. $18 spaghetti*
Matthew Gensburg the portion on the $18 spaghetti was like 3x less than the $15
Matthew Gensburg and what about the one that's $143
WHATEVER ATLEAST THEY ENJOYED
well it was $38 with $105 worth of truffle on top.
I love how done Adam was when they didn't listen to him when he said it's "Spaghetto" 😂😂❤
"everything's handmade"
camera cuts to a machine
I’ve tried the spaghetti with lobster and uni, with out the truffle shavings on top. I’ll say it’s definitely one of the best dishes I’ve ever had in my entire life. My bill came out to be $42.00 but it was worth it.
Live a little once in a while :)
I think in a battle between truffles and chaviar , truffles would win hands down . I've only tried a parmesan cheese that had truffle oil in it + some chaviar in a different occassion and i can tell , that this cheese could become addictive af lol Best thing i've ever had was some smoked turkey at my cousin's wedding .. i had no idea i was able to taste all those many different things that bird meat brough down to us . It felt like reading your first good book in your life , it was a life lesson haha
I would've taken 1 or 2 shaves of truffle. Really live a little.
Also 38$ for lobster, uni, and truffle is not just good, it’s pretty much a steal.
12:35
Adam- also you ate all the spaghetti
Andrew- THE SPAGHETTI WAS THE BEST PART ADAM
That was pretty win
"I had a really good time with you here today".. omg andrew and steven have come so far 😍
That bromance was seriously overdue..
i dont know why but i feel like steve is becoming more and more cold to andrew?
“I cook the spaghetti in salt water and then I finish it in the sauce”
Every Italian person: congrats (?)
even my ten year old knows this and we aren't even italian.
Anne congrats
Exactly 😂 I’m Italian 🙌🏻
Is no one gonna talk about this?
Steven : I am the noodle and he's the sauce, and i'm latched on.
Andrew : *chuckle*
ikr it was so cute of steven for saying that
omg at 13:29 when steven said "we really just went three way on Barzotto"
Adam just smiled and covered his face
and Andrew's laugh...
I freaking love these guys
Rachel Han The innuendo was strong with that one.
Adam always has to steal the show with his cuteness, that rat

The day this episode came out I was living like 30 minutes away from Barzotto and I gotta say that IT WAS THE BEST SPAGHETTI I'VE EVER HAD
I like how it went from Andrew eating all the food and Steven saving some for Adam to Andrew suggesting saving some food for Adam and Steven asking for one more bite. Their friendship has truly grown!
i don’t think anyone has had more truffle than these guys

$38 for what you get in the last dish is kind of a steal, considering the restaurant you're in.

its more like
- traditional, authentic, simple
- modern twist, hipster place
- carefully crafted with best, highest quality ingredients by professional chefs
Imagine walking in a restaurant to hear 2 grown men moaning while eating Spaghetti.
0:59 "we make all out pasta from scratch by hand"
5 seconds later "we use this machine"
@@chicken-sd3rx the traditional way if they said they make it by hand (hand pulled). They even made the dough by machine!
Sarah Saria They said they do and then used a machine. Use some logic.
i think you don't really understand what handmade means. if something is hand-painted, do you expect it to be slathered in paint with hands or normally painted with paintbrushes? it's still handmade in a sense they don't buy it, they do it by themselves in the restaurant
denied that would not be handmade that would be homemade. Handmade pasta is where u have to hand crank or roll out the dough for the pasta, where all the actual work is done by the person. Your painting analogy would be more like someone painting over a printout being called handmade, as it is partly, but not really
They still make their own pasta and not buy pre made ones from the store.
Worth it: milkshakes
Martin Frønes yes
Martin Frønes and they have to go to boston burger company!
The best part of this series?
Not anything to do with the show at all.
We watch as a true friendship was formed. In the beginning Steven was dragging Andrew around as they tortured Adam who was stuck behind the camera. Through all the seasons we watch as Andrew grew to enjoy Stevens company. Adam has been fed and got more of a part of the show. It’s truly beautiful to watch as the friendships continue to progress. I can not wait to see what these 3 hold for the future.
adam is like steven and andrew there baby they need to feed the baby
"Adam has been fed"
Adam is 100% my favourite member of the group.
plot twist : Adam is actually Andrew and Steven's boss
The best part is the food, no cap
3:46 I thought Steven was about to rap lose yourself by Eminem
It’s Michelle Minori from Top Chef season 16! Pasta’s her specialty on the show, no surprise.
You already know the last dish contains truffle.
Mrzanetti100 😉😂😂😂😂
At least this time pasta and truffles is a common thing and not an abomination like pizza and truffles
Mrzanetti100 it wasn't even that crazy of a price until they had them literally blanket it in truffle.
*Andrew’s spaghetti game is weak.*
White shirt with a red sauce? Come on.
Isagail I was stressed
Isagail
XD
*Becomes deadpool to eat spaghetti*
Bro if thatnigga ain't yo real brother for you to be feeding him that's gay af
yeah keep living with your preconceived judgemental notions of what is gay and what is not; there is nothing wrong with one human feeding another for whatever reason and regardless of gender. its perfectly normal whether in friendship/love/family/you name it.
I really love how their palletes are so open and ready to taste. Like they are always positive and they respect that it's very different. I feel like if they have kids they will take none of that picky eater bs tho😂
They can't say anything negitive lol the only reason the places let them try it and record (usually for free) is because they have to give a good review
I don't know why but everytime I see Andrew he reminded me of the winter soldier (Sebastian Stan) from captain America. :p
"you can't go anywhere in San Francisco and get a bowl of pasta for $14, it's unheard of" Jesus that's expensive
Aran v
That’s San Francisco quite comparable to my hometown London
Go to Jollibee lol
In the Philippines, our spaghetti is 1 dollar, and for Filipinos, 14 dollars is Php700
omfg I was going to through the comments while watching the video and when I saw this comment she said it in the exact same time
You know what's interesting? I feel like when this series started these two weren't as friendly towards each other, but over all the food they have shared together it's like they have grown as friends. Food+Random Stranger=New Friend With Food.
I know this comment is half a decade old now, but there's definitely something to be said for friendship via food. Whether it's sitting down to a delicious plate of spaghetti in a restaurant or even just drunkenly sharing chicken nuggets at 2 a.m., food has an almost magical quality that brings people together.
Omg the executive chef from Barzotto is a contestant at Top Chef S16!
In Philippines, a spaghetti costs $1.
It's alright.
Bridgette De Jesus sometimes not even $1, sometimes its only 20 pesos hahaha
Bridgette De Jesus Yeah because the cost of living is much higher in SF.
Jolly hotdog $1=50 pesos nalang
Cost of living in the Philippines vs San Francisco simply cannot be compared. Same thing goes with the average salaries in both places. We're talking several orders of magnitude kind of difference here. Also, the ingredient and cooking quality of the latter is still going to be world's beyond the former thanks to simple facts of economics.
Jollibee?
"we make our pasta by hand" *uses hands to empty ingredients into mechanical mixer and extruder*
they weren't lying, technically they still used their HANDS. So..lol
I really like how much their friendship has changed throughout the seasons. They're so much closer and I love it.
the way andrew says "i had a really good time with you today" to steven as he smiles fondly is so soft
Steven grabbing Andrew's shoulder "he's the noodle, I'm the sauce, we move as a unit!" 2:58
I don't know how much bromance my heart can handle...
*Adam* *is* *the* *meatball.*
Isabel Agnes wait wha-
Hot damn 15 bucks for some spaghetti and meatballs, is "cheap." San Fran is super pricey.
It is though
It’s like 23$ in a restaurant in Switzerland 😭
the bay area is full of rich people so it’s not surprising tbh
DAANG. Pasta at a nice place is around 7 or 8 dollars in the Philippines but then again... developing country
For $3.00 you can get a lovely plate of spaghetti in my country, Peru.
Sooo $105 worth of truffle shavings?!
No...f'ing way. lol
"We do everything by hand"
Later
"So anyway first we are going to put the ingredients in this machine
No man is lonely while eating Spaghetti. It requires so much focus and attention.

So you know how in the cartoons where they have a single long noodle that fills the whole bowl? (and if it's a romantic scene you have two characters eating it from each end...) Would you call that a bowl of spaghetto?

From just Steven and Adam to guests and finally our fixed best unit of 3 💓

Every time he calls spaghetti “noodles” an italian guy dies. Good job.
It's bc he's Asian. At least for Steven, that's the case.
Joanna Uppin Adam is Ukrainan so he does too
It’s because spaghetti is a type of noodle. Just the way that arborio is a type of rice
@@Bynasf Not true, Spaghetti is a type of pasta. Noodles are just noodles.
ipodtouchrocks not true. Pasta is a form of noodle
15$ for Spaghetti is more expensive than in a italian restaurant in germany
Probsterr well I doubt that’s going to be better than Francisco’a
It's more expensive than in italy
It’s San Francisco, the Bay Area has the highest minimum wage = highest cost of living
In the US*
Probsterr even the Netherlands is cheaper!
Anyone else notice at the end of the video, when Adam starts laughing along with Andrew and Steven, he puts his hand up to the camera to hide his face like it's a paparazzo? He's so camera shy lol
It's because of the comment that Steven made.

I really like how both of them care a lot for Adam.
Hhaha I really like Adam, he is so funny in his own way. I love the way he tried to block that camera shot when he started laughing at the end.
I started binge watching this program and thought it was a little weird at first, but the evolution of fine tuning the episodes season by season is fascinating, it's fun to watch, and a top quality show. Unfortunately it makes me freaking hungry. XD
I feel like people used to want to go to diners, drive-ins, and dives locations, but now people wanna go to worth it locations. Brb bookmarking all of these places.
People still want to go to Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives restaurants. There's a little barbecue joint in my home town that got featured on Triple D. It's a tiny place, and the location is pretty terrible, but they were still really popular. After they were featured on the show, it's like a 30 person long line out the door every single day. It's been over 6 years since that episode aired, and business is still ridonculous there.
100nitrog good for them! :-)
I went to the Wicked Spoon buffet in Vegas, just because of them. I wish I could go to these locations more, but unfortunately, most of the places they go to are on the west coast and I live on the east coast.
Eric Richardson we also went to wicked spoon! We loved it and will prob be back next time we go to Vegas lol
Kimberly Lowe I feel fhat
In Italy, only kids use a spoon to twirl their pasta. It's to teach them how to properly twirl their pasta so that when they're older, they can ditch the spoon and twirl right in the bowl or plate.
Truth to be told, especially when we eat spaghetti at home.....we pretty much don't twirl spaghetti. An half twirl i guess, but i love having some spaghetti on my lips, it's a special taste and feeling.
One of my fave things about this show is meeting the faces and personalities behind the dishes
Andrew eats just like I do, perfectly recreating the ratios of the entire dish on a single fork or spoon.
Now I want spaghetti
ScarlettP I just made some but it wasn't the same. I want the ones on the show
Barzotto raises the price of their spaghetti and meatballs a buck in preparation for all the potential customers being referred to the restaurant by Worth It. Cheeky tactic.
You've been there?
Not personally, no, but at 2:13 the disclaimer at the bottom reads that the spaghetti and meatballs was $14 at the time of filming and has since been bumped up to $15. Hence my theory that it's due to appearing on Worth It.
I'm gonna say it.
*SoMeBoDy ToUcHeD mY sPaGeHgT*

why do i ship them more than they need to be
haha Adam: "told ya" and then covering his face when he was laughing!
This makes me want spaghetti!!!
how to make inexpensive food expensive
add truffle to it.
7:05 God you two are precious
$15 is the cheapest? Omg, am I the only one who thinks that paying that amount of money to eat pasta is very expensive? Or am I just a basic girl on a budget? HAHA:(
Michelle Gutierrez haha I agree....I wouldn't pay that for pasta
Right i thought it would be at the most maybe 10$ or 11$
Everything costs more in SF, I live near mission
If you adjust for cost of living, $14 in SF is probably like $7 everywhere else. So for a restaurant house made pasta, that's cheap.
spoiled people who can't cook deserve to get ripped off
Can you guys do dumplings I heard there is a $250 dumpling dish in New York.

You're not really eating until you enjoy Slim Shady's.
Nah what if he spits on it like he did with my onion rings?
Jack Anderson arms are heavy
Damn last time I ate that I vomited on my new sweater...
The first one looks SO good, but I really honestly want to try place #2's the most. Whenever you hear a cook say something like "I think people dont like beets because they aren't cooked right" that is a specialist idealogy. He could've been safe gone pesto or something more traditional vegetarian but instead worked hard to prove his recipe right. I'm the same way with asparagus, a lot of people really dont like asparagus and I think its because people present it like a long thin stick of broccoli in whichever meal they prepare. I like to make it worthy of its own snack or entree and changing that perception of it to me has made it now a staple of get togethers for family and friends.
Imagine you’re just eating your $15 spaghetti and just hear two guys in the back, audibly moaning with every bite
I always feel sad for Adam cause he barely gets any of it lol
Rai McRee at least he got some food on every episode he goes with Andrew and Steven
Have yall even seen tasty? Hes always there being the camera man and eating. Best life tbh
he's eating off camera, what do you think? you think they ain't gonna give adam food?
He probably eats more offscreen tbh.
Its very funny that in every episode at least someone complains about Adam not eating enough. He is like the audience favorite person.
