Honestly, it’s just a really funny build I have another one the rocket jump, so what do you want to do is use the jet pack in any rocket launcher, and the only way to kill tanks is by rocket, jumping with the jet pack and then shooting a rocket at the enemy. It’s really ineffective, but it’s really funny and entertaining and it’s an actual real challenge.
Barrel/rail wear made it impractical to continue development iirc. But the lessons learned with it went into the electromagnetic catapults that are on the Ford class carriers, so it _might_ be revitalized again in the future.

The Navy had a mounted rail gun program one of my shipmates worked on for a while. I don't think it came to fruition though.
