Thank you!
Great hunt and nice buck my friend! You earned that one for sure!!
Thank you!
Hey Daniel, great video and congratulations on a great buck, public or anywhere! I've got a tip for you, loose the cart and get you a sled. Take it from someone who has drug a lot of deer out of the woods in the last 50 some years and still at it by the way, you'll be glad you did. I hunt a lot of woods where the ground is covered in grape vines and all kinds of hateful stuff that wreaks havoc on pulling a cart, but the sled glides right over it all. It's a real game changer especially for those of us who usually hunt alone. Congratulations again, and keep em coming!
I have heard that from a few people! Absolutely need to do something different!
Congratulations on your big buck 👍🦌
Thank you!
Good job man beautiful buck
Thank you

Thank you!
You're on fire this season! I'm still snake bit. Lol Have only seen 3 does the entire season. Congrats on a fine buck.
Thanks buddy. Sounds like me last year
Dang good one
Thanks brother!
Double drop time buck and a beautiful 11 point hell of a year
Thank you
Dude. You’re absolutely crushing it. Me and Dad. Are about to start hunting for the year in Alabama we’ve already hunted Georgia and Missouri but we live in Huntsville and we’re going to be home public so hopefully they will be starting to rut or they should be in the phase of rubbing and scraping anyway! Good luck on that last tag. I’m not going to be too picky. I’ve not killed a buck in this state yet. Killed a lot out of state. But I think I’m going to European mount whatever Buck I kill. Unless it’s exceptional. lol 😂
Go to skyline
Great job mam
Thank you!
Awesome 😎
Thanks!
Nice! Cool rack. I’ve had a slow season here in Alabama so far but still enjoying getting out for adventure that is public land deer pursuit.
Thank you!
LOOKED LIKE A “SUPER EASY” HUNT!! 😂😂😂😂
Put some screws and wing nuts for those bars where the pins fell out😊
That’s exactly what I’m going to do! 👍
2 8 points taken here walking distance from my house. I'm east of blackwarrior mgt area.
I have a cart like that one
Got my first buck he was good 8 in mullberry fork
Hey I’m working on mounting my first deer right now, I’ve got it all skinned out and fleshed out. Followed your videos been doing peoples European mounts for a few years. Figured I wanted to try a shoulder mount. But after you flesh it you soak it in salt then the pickling what kind do you use and how much just have some questions wondering if there was a way I we could chat about it before I get it going! Thank you
McKenzie taxidermy supply has a kit that comes with enough acid and tan for 2 capes. Also comes with instructions 👍
congrates on the deer when your ordering a deer mold how far off from eye to nose can you be off i need a 6and a half by 18 the closest there is is 61/4 or 6 3/4
Go with the 6 1/4. When you dry for the cape if you see where you need to add some size, use clay to build it up a little 👍
@@thecedarridgechronicles ok thanks what is your facebook page?
Nice buck!
How are you able to get around the hunter orange requirement?
In Alabama you have to wear orange until you are 12 feet off the ground then you can take it off 👍
@@thecedarridgechronicles Interesting, thx
I didn't know the prison guard from Shawshank Redemption hunted in Alabama!!
😂😂😂 World famous
@@thecedarridgechronicles lol!!!
Great video!
What do your bugger bucks like that dress out for weight ? I’m used to seeing 150-200 lbrs in the northeast
This buck was only 150 live weight. Locally we have some Michigan strain deer brought in years ago to repopulate the area, and you will see the occasional go over 250. Our local herd rarely makes 200 and I would say an average mature buck is usually 160-190 depending on the area of the state.
If That don't get you fired up your woods wet congratulations!!!!!! BBD
Thank you
Who you going to get to mount that stud..😂😂
Hopefully I can find somebody that mounts deer instead of hunts every day 😂
Why aren’t you hunting in the jx3 & what saddle are you using ?
This one is my Cruzr Archon. I usually take it when I’m bringing sticks and a platform. I like to use presets for the JX3 and use it for all day sits 👍
@@thecedarridgechronicles so basically it’s not your preferred method of hunting
@@thecedarridgechronicles u would rather hunt a soft saddle sticks and platform than deal with the jx3 , sticks & gear ? I’m trying buy right saddle at 44 disabled and crossbow hunter , so I want comfort but I usually don’t hunt dark till dark. All day so I want to make right decision ! I hunt private parcels and i don’t have to walk miles to get to destination but I want to make right decisions and not regret
@cray-z7404 the JX3 is the most comfortable stand I have ever owned by far, but the weight advantage of a soft saddle helps me on the 2 mile walks on public land. The JX3 carries great but it is heavy if you have to tote all the equipment at once
I would rather sit in the JX3 with the JX3 sticks if I have the choice between the 2, but I would not recommend carrying the stand and sticks any further than you would be willing to carry a climber, as the weight is similar at that point. If you can stage the sticks and leave them on the tree, the JX3 is the way to go even on a longer walk, which is what I do on my spots that are a mile or less. My recommendation would be JX3 for comfort, soft saddle for mobility
Do you want me to mount him for you 😂
One less I have to deal with 😂
Bigger than what we see in Ohio congrats
Really? I was thinking y’all would have some monsters up there
@@thecedarridgechronicles southern Ohio better but up here in north east Ohio it’s ehhhhh
What part of Alabama is this
West
What’s that ol mike in the video
Yup
Jackson county?
Morgan
@@thecedarridgechronicles I seen the sign at the end . Come on to Marshall and Jackson and we'll hunt some tva land. I'm on a bigun
Post new video
I will eventually. Been really busy
You don't have to wear orange in Alabama during gun season on public land? I bet it gets crazy there.
We do, but are allowed to remove it once we are 12 ft high or above. We also have a 3 month rifle season so e don’t have near the density of gun hunters at a given time as the states with the very short seasons. I hunted Kentucky several years ago and with a hat and vest I wad paranoid even in a climber as many gun shots were going off lol
@@thecedarridgechronicles 😂 I get that I'm in Arkansas and you can get shot in full orange 😂
@@Oleman72 🤣
Damn them things are tiny in inbred valley
Shake off and zip up. Stop looking at it. You’ll be ok.
