That cold front had him on his feet. Dang man I hate that for you. Tough to put that much work in and it not come together. You are handling it better than I would.

I got burned that same way this year. I was on doe patrol so it wasn't as big of a deal. But my dad wanted me to freshen up the spot with some corn before getting up in the stand. My wind was perfect. Doe came out completely perfect but started blowing immediately. I know it was my ground scent because she actually ran directly towards me when she spooked. I drew back and could have still let it rip at 15 yds but she was behind a tree. But now she was fully downwind. Then caught my actual scent and was out of there.

I paddled up the Cahaba from the 280 bridge Thanksgiving and saw several deer, including a mature 8 point with short tines. Have seen some big deer on camera further upstream closer to mointain brook. If that land is legal to hunt wild be a great spot to sneak in using a canoe/kayak. Living nocturnal in a neighborhood is alot better life than hanging out on a WMA or hunting club lol.

Awesome video. I really wish guys like seek one and midwest whitetail would show videos where someone else killed the target or it got hit by a car etc. Because that is real hunting. No matter how good you are you dont get them all.

Love your videos but I can't understand why you put feed out right before you went up the tree. You know as well as I do that is what cost you that buck. Keep posting your videos. I really enjoy watching them.

100 pounds of corn a week is hunting?🤔 You could be like Lee in Atlanta and just hunt off your kids' swingset in the back yard while they're eating breakfast

It was every two weeks anyway , it's impressive to me that you carry 100 lb of corn a mile in the woods nevermind in 100 degree heat that's earning it to me!!💯 Haters going to hate. Bless their little hearts.

I hear people talk about how terrible it is to hunt over corn then they go sit in a shooting house on a green field. I have never had someone explain the difference to me.

Great story great buck but have to be totally honest can’t stand the baiting ! See here in New York we shoot monsters but baiting is illegal and to me that’s fair chase should never have to rely on bait piles to kill a dream buck ! I have a wall of trophies not one killed over bait wouldn’t be able to honor a buck that way or tell the story and feel good about it ! That’s only my opinion I also don’t like cameras! Again my opinion just old school like Dan Infault . So try the challenge and feel the real reward !

Baiting, really!!?!?...ln Minnesota its illegal, how can you be considered a hunter when you are training deer to come right to you???...l have 23 racks 8-point and bigger with 4 over 165" B&C...Put some boots on the ground and scout, follow trails, and read sign, hunt on the deers terms and stop cheating and become a true hunter...

@@patnoble1914 ...Nope...l live in northern minnesota about 60-65 miles from the canadian border...l hunt in the swamps and big woods...l have never sat over crops or hay fields or food plots...l dont consider people that do a hunter...Where is the sport when you know that every night 30-40 deer will walk out 45 minutes before dark...l feel the same way about somebody that dumps a pile of food out and sits there knowing that deer will show up because they are "trained" to do so...ln my opinion they are just too lazy and shouldnt be considered a true outdoorsman or hunter...
