Before finishing the vid, how many times did Ben call Team Canada the Raptors, or vice versa?
Your sleeping on Branden Carlson
He should be the starting PF
RE: Drew Timme - interesting use of "disappointing" season - he just did not get playing time. If you extract his stats over the course of a full game - assuming he doesn't hit too much of a dip with more playing time - it would be:
Points (PTS): 20.8
Total Rebounds (REB): 14.54
Field Goal Percentage (FG%): 58.3%
Three-Point Percentage (3P%): 50.0%
Blocks (BLK): 2.08
Assists (ASST): 3.92
That's not too bad?
The Spanish National basketball organization is the epitome of how a "system" can be effectively dominant. The players come and go, some succeed in the NBA, most don't - but the Spanish National basketball program remains a tough competitor, and always elite.
You must have missed Masai's comment during the Scotty/IQ media day. Don't you think it's odd for Masai to include Bruce brown's name in the core group if he was really going to be dealt?
Ya Masai really did make it a point to mention Bruce's name often. I noticed that too.
If the right deal presents itself while all the NBA GMs and Presidents are in Vegas together during summer league BB will be dealt.
i dont know why anybody's surprised... he's someone that has been saying and showing he really really wants to be here in toronto.. for Masai, thats something speacial...i can already here Masai's explanation/excuse..."He's someone that has shown us that he really wants to be here, and be apart of what we are building here.. and to us, that means alot" (in Masai voice, obviously)
@@IceManLikeGervina logical take, and at worst we got till the deadline to make somethin happen with BB. See, I dont hate on you an your takes all the time. 😂
True… no player is really a lock given the right opportunity in a trade
Drew Timme is 905 bound If some other team doesn’t pick him up.
Juan Freeman Liberty would be gone before Bruce it seems now. And crickets when it comes to Boucher. We have to cut down to 12 players eventually, right. Liberty, Boucher, Vencheov.
good point sir!
15 players and 3 players on 2 way contracts…18
@@jeffl3320 the fifteen has to go ro 12 b4 regular season eh?
Hope Jamison Battle plays well, dude can shoot good player!
Toronto did a great job on draft night, but honestly the team seems to be in a state of disarray. No harm in tanking next season, but that Bruce Brown contract was sure a ball & chain.
About BB,
he's staying for now, I've been saying it along. He tipped us off when he said directly he was excited to play for this team next season (or something on those lines, sometime way before the draft). And why is he staying? ..Raps over evaluated him when they made the trade with Indy, BB didn't do that well in Indy, and niether did all the well with the Raps. So what is he worth? ..certainly not the value of what he did 2 seasons ago in Denver. Teams want him, but they are offering "waive" players with big contracts, second rounders, low end bench guys - Raps had 1st round (lottery) potential in mind. They are hoping he plays himself into that by trade deadline. And besides they need wing players off the bench. Boucher is the interesting player here, he is decent, just because Darko doesn't want to see it - we have - he is worth something and at only 11 million should be easy to find a match. I don't understand what the Raps plan is for him? He won't play his way into anything this year, unlike BB.
Ayeee
I was surprised to see Ochai on this list. He is 24 and going into his 3rd year in the NBA.
Why? After his inefficient jump shooting was exposed after joining Toronto he needs to be in summer league working on his jump shot.
@IceManLikeGervin for sure! Any extra experience working on his craft is beneficial.
Trent is a ball stopper on offense who cares! Out of all the players that left in the last couple of years Trent is probably the player I care about walking the least. I’m still putting him ahead of Fred In terms of players I care about walking the walking the least. Why isn’t teams lining up to pay him ? 🤔 Why isn’t the Blazers trying to sign him back ? They got cap space and drafted him. They don’t want him back. They knew what type of player he was and flipped him for Norm Powell. Trent had one of worst shot selection I’ve seen on this team since Rudy Gay and Carlos Delfino. Sure he was more efficient but he never knew what a bad shot was. See this is what happens when you’re a poor team you start overrating players like Trent that nobody else wants to give big money to. Trent remind me of Mike James when he played here. He put up numbers because he was the biggest ball stopper on offense and the team suffered but he got his. You will never win with these type of players. It’s the Melo mentality.
@@mikeyjames Who is posting about GTJ? All the best.
Isnt Ochai a 3rd year player? Isnt summer league only for rookies and sophomores?
They might’ve changed that. Kevin Knox drafted in 2018 is on a summer league team lmao
Damn that summer league team looks gooooood
Put your money on Jameson Battle or Guerrier going to the 905 and then hopefully making the team.
Brown is not going anywhere at least half of the season trade deadline. He's a main key from a champion team and a winner. Brown is 6'4.5 , who is 6'5 on the team and is a apprentice for Brown 🤔!
LET'S GO RAPTORS 🦖
Nah stop it, keeping him would hinder Ja’Kobe’s development, so yeah, he’s gone before training camp
Canada will be last at their Olympics group. And it's not that it's a bad team. It's just that the other 3 , well 2 I'd say, are better. That's 🇪🇸 and 🇬🇷.
Bruce If he's not traded this off-season will be traded at the deadline to a contender hopefully he's not on the squad any longer then that
Well well well . Ujiri came out Monday and admitted a lot of the problems was because of him. Thank you sir , at least u r an honest man. Now where r the fans on this channel who could not see this ? I have being a critic of ujiri and Webster since before the collapse but had to defend my stand against die hard fans who refuse to see any different and worship ujiri like a god. Come on don’t hide now fans . Ujiri u regain my respect sir , that was all I wanted to hear as a fan. Now make our raps great again.

meh… fuck it i don’t mind keeping bruce brown. get his trade value up.
Bro brown is a baller it’s is important they play him right.
@@vintagejo4159shutup Masai h@t€r
I wish Australia had Ben Simmons on the roster and played him.
Raps did Trent dirty lost some respect for this organization
Trent sucks! Good on Masai for dropping the dead weight.
Stop blaming the front office for everything clown, it’s his fault for not improving on his game
Y’all always blaming the front office for everything when you should be blaming the players for both being good
He played horribly. We offered 15mil, he wants 25mil. After last season, and the one before, he doesn't deserve more. I'd take one year 15mil and say prove you're worth that 25
