The Saucony Endorphin Elite is an untapped resource that came in under the radar for many runners. I have always been a Nike Alphafly fan and was curious about the Endorphin Elite after reading reviews, so when I finally bought a pair a few weeks ago, I was amazed how good of a shoe it is. I'd say it isn't as bouncy as the Alphafly, but it just does what is does without you really knowing it. I am a huge convert to this shoe and I wish I had tried it much sooner.
I was lucky enough to score a pair on eBay for $130 gently used. Ran my first HM in them. Gonna try to get some fast workouts in them now I've got a good base built.
I just bought this shoe today (viziblue/citron) ! Even though the Elite 2 is coming out in March '25 the people who have received advanced pairs already haven't necessarily said that it's any better, in fact many comments say the 2 is unstable.
So I picked the Coros Pace 3 over the Garmin Forerunner 265, this watch while the display is very 1980s, is incredible. Battery life is out of this world and the data in the app is so fluid and clean! Love it, thanks for your reviews man.
I’ve run in Vaporflys since the first 4%. Tried on the latest and had an issue so I decided to try the Elites. I’m spoiled rotten. Have run fast in everything from a shirt breakin run to a Ten Mile and, last weekend, a BQ Marathon. In short runs, they disappear on my feet. In the Marathon, I had no uncomfortable spot. Oddly enuf, the shoes felt too thin and uncomfortable for walking around AFTER the Marathon. One disagreement with Dave, I’m in no rush to see these on other runners’ feet. These definitely take time off my long races.
@@Brenton1000 My typo. I’ve been running on Vaporflys. Aphaflys 1 & 2 felt better than any shoe I’ve ever tried on. The Alphas felt great up to 20 miles, then hurt so much I had to take one shoe off at 24 miles in NYCM.
Not a shoe for over 5:00/km pace. Definitely not for slow runners hence the name. I couldn't run in it because the foam is firm and the geometry is way to aggressive for my feet. It would bring plantar fasciitis out in no time for me. I love the look of the shoe and wish it worked for me. I use Endo Pro 3 instead. Can't wait to get my hands on a pair of Elite 2. That foam will be for me for sure.
The problem always is that we fall in love with most expensive shoes that are near perfect. Makes it impossible to hoard 10 pairs just in case they end up messing it up on next release. Thankfully my fav Puma Deviate Nitro 2 runs just over $100 so I've been stocking up finding them for $70.
This durability factor seems to be the case for ALL saucony shoes dude, they are incredible. I haven’t ran in the elites but have the rest of the endorphin line and have had multiple pairs go well beyond the 300 mile mark
It’s the one race shoe where you can legitimately say it is just as good if not better than the Nike options. Unbelievably comfortable but also lightweight and wants to run at marathon pace. Trustworthy, reliable, consistent…. Gotta stop now. Getting emotional 😂😂
Its also my favorite Racing Shoe the Elite is almost perfect the only issue for me is the Outsole is not the Best. But as you already say its like the Adios Pro 3 but in all aspects (except the Outsole) far better. I have tried a lot Super Shoes but this is the Best of all. I can understand that the shoes arr a bit too agressive for many people due the strong rocker. But for my footstrike (heavy forefoot Striker) they are amazing.
No, it is not. This shoe gave me plantar fasciitis (very aggressive geometry and plate). Very stiff shoe and is for pros who are able to hit certain paces. For mortals like me Asics Sky Paris or Edge Paris (or Saucony Pro 3/4 of course) are the shoes to pick. FF Turbo+ is currently the best foam IMHO. It sits somewhere between Zoom X and Lighstrike Pro leaning more towards Zoom X. It's soft and bouncy. It is just comfortable and fun to run in. I'm a Saucony fan but really can't understand how some people are able to run a full marathon wearing the Elite.
@@botrytis_cinereai have recently got an Adios Pro 3 and I actually love the midsole except for the fit, a bit of heel slip for me. And the front lateral side of that shoe made my foot landing a bit awkward plus the fact it is a bit heavier compared to Sky Paris. If Adios Pro 4 would be lighter and more stable, i might just put them above Sky Paris. For now, Sky Paris and Edge Paris are at the top for me. :) Thanks for letting me know about the Elite. I am a bit curious about them, i wont hastily jump on the bandwagon unless I can actually test them in store
Elite is the best supershoe that I have. Sky Paris is good because is soft and bouncy but no stable. Elite is smooth, stable, agressive, rolling and fast. Reminds me a big comfortable Vaporfly with more momentum feel. Adios Pro 3 is bouncy and rockered shoe. For me, Elite is better than Pro 3, Vaporfly 3, Paris, etc. My best 10k are with Elite.
So much to comment on here 🙌🏻 I agree about the aggressive rocker and how that could ruin the experience for some. The Elites just work so well for my foot and create honestly the smoothest ride I’ve experienced. I really think you need to break them in though for them to come alive. Which is annoying if you’re trying a shoe on in store.
A "classic and stable colorway" in a racing shoe? Nah, I got the slime green on clearance and I swear, the color itself makes me go faster. Then again, maybe I'm trying to outrun it! 😂
Honestly why you review shoe while you have saucony colab on you training block - one way or another. Zero credibility - you just don't burn yourself like that
They sent me some shoes to train and race in for the Noosa block. But there was no obligation to review them here on UA-cam. I honestly love this shoe. Would you rather me not tell you they were sent?
Fair enough, i know you like the shoe as many runners, but still all the lines get blured way to often and that's no good, way to many running shoes get over hyped because close relations between "reviewer's" and companies and I also understand it's difficult to keep those lines separated, but for us - consumers/content consumers it need to be separated one way or another.... in general like your work though, all the best
@@tkwasik I can definitely see where you’re coming from, watching shoe reviews should always be taken as a personal opinion I think. That’s why I put the disclaimer to go to a running store and try a few on to see what works best 🙌🏻 I appreciate the comment mate
All I'm saying is it doesn't sit right. Personal opinion is one thing, possible conflict of interest is another. Receiving free products for review is one thing, working closer with brands is entirely diferent and my comment is based entirely on that fact, not on if your review being honest or not. Putting in copy paste disclaimer do not change anything, apart from legal point of view.. Anyway I wish your chanel and running journey all the best .

Me too! Absolutely love it, hopefully the elite 2 is just as good or better 🙌🏻
Love this shoe...took minutes off my half marathon PR in them!! : )
Just ordered the Eilte2 and can't wait to try Saucony's new foam
You got a pair! Wow I’m jealous 😅
Do you have a link to buy the elite v2?
How are the elite 2’s?!??

That’s an unreal bargain! Well done 👍🏼

They definitely look unstable hey! I hope it’s not the case when I try them as I’m super keen for them to release 🙌🏻

Haha yeah that display could be fancier! But I kind of like the minimalistic vibe it gives off.
Glad you’re enjoying it 🔥🙏🏻
How do they stack up to the Alphaflys?
I've been trying to get my hands on a pair of Alphafly 3's, but in Aus, it seems almost impossible!
Both great shoes in their own way, I found the elite so be more comfortable and more suited for me foot

I loved the green. I am concerned seeing the leaks on how soft the foam is on the Endo Elite 2. Time to stock up on these.
They look really soft, will be interesting to see

Yeah definitely bro 🤝🏼 Even if you decide to stop racing in it, you’ll have a great session shoe
I had to half size up in the pro3,are these a better fit?
I wear tts in these
