Didn't even make the thumbnail, need to up my outrageous takes
On behalf of everyone, please continue being the voice of reason😂
Ngl u play it too safe
Good sport reev.
I think we know who has the worst takes ⚫️⚪️
U literally save the podcast that’s why 😂
Original Tifo with Joe, Seb and Alex being silly yet still serious analysis will never be beaten.
Seen a few comments about it already, seems like it his was a big miss now that they’ve changed it
Really miss the tifo podcast. They actually cared about their credibility
Tifo still makes good content I watch the club because it's hilariously bad
Tifo? The ones that sad Ronaldo's goals were hurting man utd??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@shadyrys618 that's why I said original Tifo, hasn't been them 3 since before Ronaldo even rejoined United.
That Pitch Side take where they said that Maradona would just be another St Max in today’s Prem was one of the worst takes in football history
Oh my Jesus christ😂😂😂
I don't remember if it was the same podcast but didn't they also say he wouldn't make the Crystal Palace or any other mid table EPL teams starting XI?
I think Maradona would be similar to someone like Chelsea Eden Hazard in todays game, unbelievable but not unbelievable longevity and numbers that don’t reflect the quality of player
@@barry4649Hazard was the best player in the prem for over half a decade lad tf you mean no longevity? And the no numbers thing is mad dumb too
@@cvetomirgeorgiev9106 I rate Hazard mate. I’m saying Maradona would be looked at similarly to how Hazard is now in this generation obsessed with output. Imo Hazard and Neymar are the two best players after Messi and Ronaldo of the last 10-15 years
It’s incredible how consistently these podcasts have horror takes
It’s almost like it’s done on purpose😅
@@Vizeh I've never heard of these podcasts until you made a video on them. It's viral because it's information that you never intended to learn.
It's just Rory Jennings. I swear he is 90% of the shittiest takes on football podcasts
@@meeshall4931tbf rory is the best one on that podcast the rest talk absolute shite
@@meeshall4931 that's what makes it entertaining
Everyone on the Pitch Side agreeing that Reece James is the best fullback in the world and not mentioning Trent for even a moment is a genuine crime.
Trent needs a mention I can see why people would prefer James but Trent gets disrespected too comfortably now I feel
@@Vizeh When he's having bad defensive performances it gets so much talk but when he has good games it gets kind of swept under the rug.
Yeh that make it worse atleast on others like Rory the get pulled up in by everyone else. And sds to the mock it out of faysal
@Vizeh Trent is a world class midfielder not a world class Right back. He does get unnecessary stick
This was like the only good shout pitchside had had but even as a Chelsea fan, Trent gets too much shit from myself included. He is a baller
The Spurs inside me used to get annoyed by Rory Jennings. Now I enjoy him as a clown show. It's so fascinating to hear some creative takes he keeps making that I can never imagine.
I'm an arsenal fan and feel kinda sorry for spurs fans. Nobody respects you in the commentary/personality youtube and the spurs pundits/ commentary/ youtube personality are all morons.
Do you as a spurs fan even watch football youtube?
That’s one way to look at it😂
Ahh, the guy who said Haaland would struggle adjusting to the prem
People don’t watch Rory to be informed. They watch him to be entertained. It’s like a mystery box. What insane wishfully thinking (or haterade) take will he dribble out next? It’s kind of how I like to watch TrueGeordie after New Castle lose. Just to see how close he will come to an aneurysm.
If rory didn't have that accent I guarantee even less people would take him seriously 😭; just makes him seem slightly smarter
I feel that podcasts are genuinely creating some people with the worst takes in existence, this doesn't apply only to football, it applies to politics, music and really anything you can say your opinion on
If you sound confident enough, you almost get a card to say stupid shit, one of the reasons why those "alpha male" podcasts got so popular in the first place really
This video was inspired by those videos actually
This just feels like it parallels a line from the show Babylon 5 where Penn Jillette's character basically says that the difference between politics and comedy is that comedy says serious things in a ludicrous way while politics says ludicrous things in a serious way.
I guess that’s what happens when mostly unqualified people yap on about topics for an hour
I think the reason for this is simple: most people don't have interesting opinions about enough topics to have a weekly podcast or doesn't know a topic as well to be able to comment on everything. Like if I had a football podcast, I could maybe have good topics for 4 weeks, but what happens after that? You just have to continue talking, bc it is your job basically. They have to deliver every week, while all they have to offer is like 3 takes that could be a tweet.
@fruit2540
The only exception I've seen when it comes to political podcasts is made by an ex-Tory: Rory Stewart (and his pal Alastair Campbell).
For a (former) politician he is shockingly intelligent and is able to string coherent sentences together.
The rest I've seen have always been the same: has beens or never has beens loudly proclaiming the end of the world and looking confident while wearing the best of Primark and ASDA/George and speaking utter nonsense in the process.
Rory Jennings gives us top tier bad takes, helps with my bets. I put money on the opposite of everything he says.
😂😂😂
Eagerly awaiting the Rory Jennings video tomorrow. "my response to Viveh and why his opinion doesn't matter"
Followed the next day, by the video titled "why Viveh makes the best videos and why he'll beat me to 1 million subs"
a delectable medley of footballing splendour
Hes making himself a good living... he's the biggest blagger around, he knows he talks ball. Can you blame him though ? Not really, it's only football afterall
As a chelsea fan Rory Jennings is an embarrassment to our fanbase
There are 4 kinds of football podcasts. 1.Statistical analyse to form opinions like Tifo 2. Ex players who are just having a chat and give insights into their playing days. 3. couple of friends who like football but, talk mostly about random crap not related with small amount of football Like JLA and the slugs. 4. The worst one where its just a bunch of cretins who are so, blinded by their own clubs past success that they refuse to see anyone else's point of view. Personally Unless I'm looking for stats I prefer option 3.
We need more of 1 & 2 in my opinion.
Aye that sounds about right
JLA and Flav - 👌
Also Ben Foster with his interviews I find to be rather insightful and interesting
The old Tifo Football Podcast was awesome just for the first 20 or so minutes of Joe Devine being Joe Devine
Unfortunately the athletic are greedy and want to milk it as much as possible. Hence the format change and move to spotify
Not listened too much of it, I’m guessing it’s different now?
@@Vizeh yes. It's just jon mackenzie in a room with one of the athletics writers. Literally some of the most robotic interactions I've heard on a podcast
@@Vizeh A few months ago they announced a format change and Joe Devine isn't hosting it anymore. It's also shorter and more analytical which is fine, but most people who listened to the Tifo Football Podcast did so because it wasn't so serious all the time.
That combined with having really thoughtful, considered analysis. JJ and Jon both bring a level of technical detail that you don't see a lot of in football content.@@casteri
Rest is football is actually elite, presented by 2 legends and some guy with great energy and understanding of the game
Hope they never stop it

@@bijikedelai its litterally the only one for me, i used to listen to the fozcast ( well i rather watched it ) but Ben is to energetic for me ( as a host )
Makes you think that we need more podcasts with people who have played/participated/reported the football games than podcasts with just fans who think they know better.
I feel I've been going fucking insane watching some of these podcasts, thank you for making this video Liam, I needed this.
If it bothers you that much then no need to watch it
@@120rikeshlawoju8 and if my comment bothered you there was no need to reply, but if human beings were rational most of these podcasts wouldn't be economically sustainable.

@@120rikeshlawoju8people love to make themselves suffer just to give themselves something to complain about lol
@@j_james_01exactly, there is so much stuff out there why watch things you hate.
The best thing about SDS is that there is a different cast every episode compared to pitch side or the club where its the same 3-4 people everytime and its very refreshing to hear footballing opinions in a full 1hr-2,5hr podcast instead of small 10min clips with ads and sponsorships. I genuenly look forward to every SDS podcast because they never fail to make me laugh and see football from a different pov
Exactly I respect Sharky a lot for the work he’s done over the years, its not done for clicks and you can tell
SDS is awful
They actually have ball knowledge
True, the mixture of options is very refreshing
SDS is goated 🙌🏾
I think the issue is that too many people starting a podcast will say the dumbest stuff possible to gain publicity only for that to end up being their main shtick.
There are few podcasts that actually analyze football in a proper manner while having fun.A good example would be the old format of the Tifo Football Podcast before they became more professional.
I think more podcasts should follow Tifo's style of talking and banter while giving good analysis. I swear Rory Jenning's podcasts consist of him switching his allegiance to which London team he supports
I’m not massively into the really serious detailed podcasts personally but it absolutely had a place and is more acceptable for me
I’m with you on TIFO, last years podcast was so fun. Great details on the game, a lot of fun and silliness, perfect blend. They’ve ruined it now though which is gutting.
Have you heard some of the recent stuff by Tifo? Seems pretty good to me. That Liverpool analysis was cool and that mathematician who talked about rest defense.
On the other hand I can’t stand some of these podcasts where everyone just talks over each other.
For pure comedy value the Peter Crouch one is actually so elite haha
I do wish that Crouch opened up a bit more I feel like he holds back a bit haha
Chris Stark is about as funny as a wet fart in a pair of speedos
I think it’s awful now, and has been for the past few years. I like him and Sidwell, but the stories are so drawn-out with forced humor.
It’s gone downhill sadly, so many ads it’s hard to listen too
Brewdog podcast
My opinion is that a lot of UA-cam style football podcast are a lot like professional wrestling. You know it’s not real, they know it’s not real but you still watch anyways because it’s dumb fun and you like the personalities. It’s not meant to be taken seriously most of the time and the people who learn to understand that earlier probably get the most fun out of it.
I swear podcast needs to stop existing cause everyone is starting one
Hope you enjoy my podcast about ramen noodles next week bro
@@Vizeh if you do post it that podcast will be ask great compare to 96 Michael Jordan
@@VizehI would never miss that

what is the point of this video? like what is a viewer supposed to come away with? that people on podcast say sensationalized things for views? that isnt even a statement on football podcasts, thats just what all media looks like in 2024. calling the analysis as 'surface level' would be a compliment. this video does exactly what it calls out the podcasts for
Football Ramble doesn't get enough love, its been going since 2007 and it's insightful and funny. The hosts have also been in the football world personally for a long time
As a fellow friend of the ramble, yes! Easily the best footy pod out there.
"THERE'S BEEN SOME SPECTACULAR MATCH-FIXING IN NIGERIA!"
Come for the funny football chat, stay for the England national team propaganda
Its a great pod and definitely underrated but their political takes are shite and tedious, wish they would just leave it out
@@Ali-lc7vp I have a feeling I would find your political opinions shite and tedious
The Football ramble for the best mix of banter and actual Football discussion
Football Cliches are the best at this. They don't make silly takes, they just have fun talking about the language of football and make it hilarious.
Appreciate the hard work going into these as per usual, Viz. It's an inspiration for me to do more video essays this year as well compared to last year, so thank you.
Love your stuff mate, keep up the good work!
@@Vizeh This means the world to me, thank you.
@@BrasilianFury loved the History of football manager video. Went back to watch the Norwegian save, the backstory of the managers make me get easily invested.
This is truly a Vizeh moment
I think that’s a good thing
I thought this was going to be a sly way to introduce us to your football podcast called Keep on Burning
Keep on Burning is an unreal title
JLA has a great podcast for actual measured football talk.
Indeed he’s a decent lad!
Depends who he invites on. The Christmas quiz was awful 😖
I was sceptical at first, but I do like you, Vizeh, you've got balls. I'm an Everton fan but lived in Burnley for a bit and saw how much the club meant to the place. Burnley has some history, and the club means as much to the place as Everton does to me. It's almost offensive that people can say that supporting non premier league clubs means you're not a true fan 😂. Do not give people who say things like that a platform 😂.
Cheers Alex, I respect the Evertons lads too, when I lived in Liverpool for a few months most lads I met was blues
My respect for Laurence McKenna has gone up since the incident with True Geordie. He participated in the video that Geordie done to apologise and didn’t just bail like a rat off a sinking ship. He then went his own way and focused heavily on videos for his own channel, rather than join in with The Kick Off 2.0 just to milk the existing audience.
Stuntpegg owns all this sht.
This is why joey Barton is a spanner.
Pure content and she evaporated that clown on sky sports social quiz.

I don’t think there is a problem with football podcasts because they don’t have integrity or they have strange takes. The whole appeal of them is they are the conversations we all have with our mates down at the pub. Plus even the big dogs like sky sports and espn arnt exactly a place of football intellectualism either . I think we should just take it for what it is Not every football show or podcast has to be X’s and O’s football
As a Bournemouth fan, tom garrat saying he would never make a vid again if bournemouth stayed up but he’s still here. What could have been 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I've got my needs satisfied by The Rest Is Football, The Daily Football Briefing (The Athletic), The Athletic Football Podcast and Tifo Football Podcast. I'd honestly say those are the best of the best. The Rest is Football is such a good mix of insightful content and a laugh, and everything from The Athletic/Tifo pure class, always insightful.
Those are podcasts with former players, not the same category of content that these youtubers make. You can't expect Theo Baker or Rory to analyse like Gary Lineker or Thierry Henry.
Stadio podcast doesn't get enough love but would agree with the rest of those
It's too woke.@@umarhayat7730
Rory's predictions are on a par with Alan Hansen's "You'll never win anything with kids" which preceded the most successful era in Man Utd history.
The Football Ramble is comfortably the best football podcast out there. Great fun, some good opinions and with the likes of Andy Brassell some really analysis on top.
Yet won't acknowledge var destroys the game
Keep the work up Vizeh.

Used to love the kick off when hughwizzy was on it to balance out the madness of rory and the shit the other guys said, went massively downhill after he left, for decent football content anything by james allcott is normally a win
I used to binge watch your videos, nice to see that you're doing good for yourself
I appreciate it pal! God bless
tbf with the club i kind of have an understanding on them breaking off the way they did after the way hugh was taking off the show when they switched to twitch with no really words about why (his face was still on their emotes) so i could understand that affecting your feeling of security in the podcast
Hugh left because the Twitch deal was big money and he wanted a fair slice of it but Geordie kept alot back and just offered everyone a bonus payment that Hugh didn't think was fair for the input he put in. So he left to work on his own channel in the hopes of making it a competitor with those kinds of deals in his benefit rather than the mercy of someone else.
I genuinely think that Lewis from Pitchside has had a bigger negative impact on neutrals opinion of Newcastle than the Saudi state owning us.
Best football podcast I’ve listened to for a long time and has never let me down is the football ramble
Top shout lad!
nice to see a fellow football ramble enjoyer! i love their different humors and sometimes endlessly long stories that are hilarious (pete exploring the meta verse while jack grealish was playing a set had me dead😂😂)
One of my go to pods. Unfortunately I just can’t stand Pete. Constantly terrible takes.
Loved the former Tifo football podcast, listened to it for a long time and it’s still the only place to get serious football analysis & insight into the football world.
Really well thought out video and so bang on. Not mentioning the excellent work and actual journalism of the The Guardian Football Weekly or The Football Ramble is maybe an oversight tho
It is what it is. Back then it was blogs. And now with video, you don’t have to write. You just record what you say and upload it to wherever. With podcasts there’s no need for fancy editing, just people talking about stuff and it won’t stop because that’s what people do. People like to voice their opinion, be it writing, radio, or video. There’s a lot, but you just have to do your part and filter what you want and don’t want to hear.
Yeah that’s definitely the beauty of it in its simplicity 100%
Loving the vids recently viz. Hope Burnley stay up 🙏
Thank you lad, we won’t :)

good and important video mate. i mostly watch the football ramble which is also british and relatively unknown. They are the top level english football podcast imo. s/o to markus, luke, vish, andy and everyone from The Football Ramble Podcast for their fantastic work!
They are very underrated I find, thank you for your comment!
Lovely old job
Thank you for this. As an American football fan trying to expand his knowledge and understanding of the game, I can see the prevalence of this all the time. I haven't found many creators that I watch regularly because of either their unwavering bias for their own team or the content-for-clicks, as I call it. Anyone with honest recommendations for people I should check out, I'd really appreciate it. Besides the team I support, I've been watching Hughwizzy, JLA, Vizeh, Football Daily (but less and less lately), and HITC Sevens. Again, any recommendations are appreciated.
Means a lot mate, I love HughWizzy he’s a great example
I suggest you watch sds rotated cast with actual ball knowledge
I really appreciate Football Culture Movement or FCM. They are each fans of big clubs but aren’t afraid to be real and big up other teams and players when it’s deserved. They are more fair and balanced and have less incendiary takes. It’s also more light-hearted with some banter without it devolving into shouting matches of delusion like 99% of football podcasts today. They also cover other prem teams and their results and not just the big 6 (even though it’s still mostly the big 6)
Football Iconic is fun to watch. His content is mainly recaps of things that have happened but it's always nice to get a second opinion on fond and some not so fond memories LOL. He does some modern stuff as well. His takes can be speculative, but never outlandish. He always leaves his opinions with room for discussion which I quite appreciate
Hugh hiding away this season 😂
Thanks for this Vizeh. I listen to the Totally Football Show which is sensible conversations about football without any sensationalism. Tifo is good too of course.
Yes, it feels like a marketing ploy most of the times. It is like Cinema Sins. Every video has at least one "sin" that is objectively wrong or seems to misunderstand a concept (unlike simply making fun of it) and after I have been made aware of this, I catch the one almost every time.
It is only there to increase comments and it is quite ingenious.
Trent does get in Liverpool - Utd combined 11 over Gary Neville. 100%
Saturday Social is a prime example of football hipster delusion. Still cant believe they ditched Soccer AM for Thogden and Rory Jennings
I was shocked when i found out that Rory was in Doctor Who and Eastenders
I enjoy pitchside. It's great entertainment that numbs your mind after being at work all day. I never miss a clip
The only podcast I can deal with without banging my head off a wall is anything James Lawrence Alcott does
Great video. Don't get me started on Rory. Keep up your style.
As a Leeds fan The Square Ball is a quality pod. Not sure how many other club fan podcasts are out there but I reckon these are the best.

Goldbrige the real goat 🐐 great video vizeh.
Am I crazy for agreeing with half of these takes!? Foden is the definition of a luxury player. Newcastle will finish above Chelsea is sensible. Welbeck should be in a shout for a call up. It’s all opinions ig
You missing the point with the Chelsea and Newcastle thing... Its the fact that he thinks that thinking Chelsea finishing above them is absurd and insulting. Acting like Newcastle is levels above Chelsea or something.
I love your content Vizeh, and i respect the grind in the last weeks! ❤
Thank you man, it means a lot to me
big ups vizeh. finally somebody addressed this issue.
whats really getting worse is youtube offering me these fucking crap videos where people attack other CCs
I went back to watching the kick off after a year and surprisingly enjoyed it. I thought I’d miss Laurence and Buvey. Nice to have some unknowns bounce off TG.
I’ve not watched too much but I do enjoy seeing Brian in a good place
Miss Laurence? Fkin hell, that's a first & probably a last!
This might be the best football related video that I have ever seen on this platform. Thank you.
there shud be a few mainstream podcasts that discuss football in general and each club should have one or two depending on size of club because lets face it everyone likes hearing about their club so each club having one presented by a proper fan who travels home and away and has an understanding of the innerworkings of their club,i know there is forums and messageboards but a podcast to listen to after a bad result for example is great for context and realism possibly better than the sometimes overly toxic forums
I actually like The Rest is Football and Stick to Football.
As you should, great insight
Honestly the exception to the rule is ex-pro podcasts since they know enough about the game and know enough stories surrounding it to make it actually interesting, rather than just some blokes that like football.
SDS is an island of actual ball knowledge in this ocean of intolerable takes. Also Foden is a bit of a luxury player

Love your content Vizeh. I don’t mind some of these podcasts like pitchside. We all know they’re just talking rubbish but sometimes it’s good fun to turn your brain off and have a laugh. The contents free at the end of the day and if every person had spot on football takes most videos would be boring as hell. The ones I can’t stand I simply don’t watch 😂
A little bit off topic, but your audio is always waaaay to quiet. Sincerly, someone who watches very video and always has to adjust the volume😅
thought it was just me, checked my headphones, system settings, all maxed out it's hard to hear him at times. Just need to boost the audio up a bit, wouldn't even care if there was a little scratchy noise in the background if we could hear clearer.
I think this video is a bit of an overreaction to the concept of a podcast. Rory said himself. If u say so much about something u will consistently say something mental cause for 10 sane things u say that no one will talk about you’ll always have an absolutely insane quote that’ll get mentions for years
Yes, putting the most ruthless finisher on the planet in a team who create the most chances was never going to end up any other way, Rory. He doesn't need many chances to score but happens to be playing for a machine that won the league with 93 points (I think) and was a few minutes away from a CL final.
Thank you for this I’m glad someone else can see what I see
PitchSide is an absolute gem of a pod.
It’s the most biased podcast around
It's hilarious though @@elliotstone2764
This is what happens when football pods used to be reserved for journalists and over 40s. Now it’s been invaded by UA-camrs who whole schtick is their “personality” and “fandom” the latter of which is hilarious because none of them go to games now because they watch them all on stream.
Used to Watch fds sunday vibes with Chris Hamil, Joe and Patrick van straaten. I think they were all quite reasonable and a bit before the outrageous era
My suggestion is that we start a podcast exclusively about the bad takes and drama within the football podcast universe.
The best one for me is the Stick to football one. Even seen Roy Keane have fun there. Lots of people hate on Jill tho and I don't know why because I don't get annoyed by her at all. It's also nice to have a representative from the womens football. SDS is a mix of jokes and serious ball talk. If you follow it every week it you can follow a story line like f.e. Arsenal bottling the title last year and it can be quite funny. Everyone kinda knows that it's not too serious, it's full of agendas. The Club and Pitchside tho.. They are the cancer of football podcasts.
Thank you for this comment, I appreciate your insight!
I do think tho making a video "reacting to the worst football takes" and it being around podcast takes would be interesting.
1 thing I will say for Lewis on Pitchside
I dont think he's as stupid as he seems, he's just biased. And I think everybody is going to be biased towards/against their own club. That's purely because you watch every single game of your club, and normally with more attention than other clubs, so you will have way more opportunities to analyse the players in your own club
Some daft things said on that pod, but in all honesty, the majority of daft things said on that pod (excluding bias) are said by theo
Yh at least Lewis is funny. Theo just comes across as a nob.
Aye that’s something I try to avoid is when people are just extremely biased to their club, just makes it boring to watch really
The funniest thing is I was looking at something else while you were talking about saying the most ridiculous things and the first person that came to mind was Jennings, imagine my delight when I turned to the screen to see his face lol.
As an American, this is Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith. It’s usually two dudes who flip having a good opinion and a shit opinion and say it with enough energy to power a small city.
I watch pitchside the kick off and the club and they’re all so entertaining
That’s all good pal! I used to really enjoy them aswell
It’s not all pitch side cast, it’s just Lewis
Lewis will love that comment
You say this but Theo on average has more bad takes than Lewis
Theo has some of the most horrid takes !
Thank god someone has addressed all of this
😂
Me and my mate have to make a podcast for music we’re gonna revolutionise the footballing podcast scene
I mainly listen to Pitchside, not necessarily because of their opinions. The chemistry and comedy between the four of them is unmatched. As much as I enjoy the ' corporate' podcasts for solid football opinions, they become monotone to me after a while, whereas Pitchside has the chat with your mates down the pub sort of vibe which I much prefer listening to.

For me SDS is the best football podcast in the country
I like you Vizeh. But this video you did is the problem not the podcasts. It’s like you want everyone to share the same opinion? Some people will have bad takes - and they’d be genuine.
I have friends that said that Haaland wouldn’t succeed at city just like Rory - citing the Zlatan / Pep relationship and how pep hated target men. So as stupid as the take was, it wasn’t out of thin air.
I have really biased United fans that believe Bruno is better than KDB and Shaw is better than any City full back - which is kind of like the Newcastle guy on pitchside. It’s bias and support for your team. In fact, the guy wasn’t even wrong about Schar being a very very good CB this year.
As for SDS, they are the most decent podcast around. Very intellectual, very insightful and when they have a take, even if it’s seemingly bad, they try to back it up with facts.
Finally, this True Geordie thing. You don’t know what happened behind the scenes, but we can all agree that Geordie made some horrible racist remarks (more than once) - with an awful apology video. So god knows what he says privately. So you don’t know.
I also heard he doesn’t pay well. There is a reason why everyone left him; and not the other way round 🤷♂️
Anyway, as I said, I like you but this is an L video. You provided nothing in it. Just what looks like jealous criticism.
I’d never seen that clip of those guys saying you can’t call yourself a real football fan if you don’t follow a team in the prem. Legitimately that’s the worst take I’ve seen in football. It’s embracing the globalisation of modern football. Which is why internet discourse has become plastic glory hunting fans shitting on their own club for not winning every match or shitting on other big clubs for having a draw or a loss. That’s it.
Vizeh this has nothing to with the video but is that a catfish and the bottlemen album in your background
