- Jaack and Stevie sit down with 17 year-old Callum who, with the help of his friend Tom, created one of the best UA-cam events of the year. His charity football tournament raised over £13,000 for mental health charity MIND, which is something close to Callum's heart after suffering the sudden loss of his father last year.

The Star Wars Holiday Special was highly produced and expensive and was shit. Elitism around production and commentary doesn't really wash when Clash of Creators had 20k watching for 6 hours and was a MASSIVE success. It's a shame this has happened because I know Loz is massively behind this space and wants us all to grow together in this great new world we're creating.

The fact that it was for charity is irrelevant, it doesn’t mean you can’t joke about it! None of what they said was negative about the fact that it was for charity or about mental health. You lot don’t even know what you’re mad at.
As an irrelevant creator myself who *used* to watch TG & Laurence a lot, this doesn't really surprise me (unfortunately). It's this attitude that was a big turn-off.
Stopped watching them a few months ago when I realized they are really annoying together which confuses me a bit since the Christmas podcasts they do are always brilliant

I honestly used to like the guy, but his attitude this past year has completely changed. I don't know what's going on in his actual life, but he needs to keep his attitude away from the podcast and The Kick Off, as he is simply ruining the show.
Laurence often comes across as smug, snide, and desperately trying to look like the smartest person in the room. He's always the worst part of watching The Kick Off streams

I think that’s the one reason why I think that’s something that he has problems with cause I’ve heard him say multiple times things that sound educated but are wrong for no reason. You could tell throughout that Geordie was embarrassed by Laurence’s comments. If it wasn’t live he’d have probably pulled him aside and told him to rein it in. I do find Laurence funny at times, but quite frankly his arrogance and cockiness takes over most of the time.

As someone who watches the kick off regularly, I can’t say this is a surprise, the way Loz speaks to Rory, Adam and Buvey is sometimes a little alarming when they have a difference of opinion on just football. This superiority complex is very off putting, and has sadly made me no longer want to watch the kickoff or TG podcast.

Never warmed to Laurence and stopped watching TG's channel (which I used to like during his newcastle rants) and have no idea what this is all about really.
Laurence has the smug "i'm smarter than you" attitude that he tries to disguise as comedy but you can tell there is a real ego behind it. Probably not the worst guy but one of those people that I would steer clear of in real life.

Honestly didn't know about this event prior but it looks like such an amazing, wholesome event. From the few clips you showed it looked charming beyond all belief, and to hear about the cause this was all for is just amazing. Laurence is incredibly clever, funny, witty, quick and articulate. Especially in things like True News and when he’s able to get Brian to explain what he actually means.
But then he has moments like this when he comes across as someone who you wouldn’t mind telling to piss off. At least Rory called him out on it on an episode of the Kick Off this season when he was belittling Rory and his opinion live in front of thousands.

Here's the one thing that Lawrence forgets about. When True Geordie started his podcast, the comments of the first couple episodes were FULL of people absolutely laying into him. Those comments are still there. Credit to him because he has turned it around and became a very good content creator, but let's be honest... No-one knew who the flying fuck Lawrence was until True Geordie gave him a career.
By the way, I'm a huge fan of TG and Loz, but he became very arrogant over the last couple of years.
Personally, I had a gripe with Loz when he recently defended the BBC, but the angle he used in his debates was that he was right about everything because he studied media... To me, that's why he was wrong in those conversations. Very arrogant.

Like he looks down on people because of his higher education. in the kick off he discounts People’s view if it’s based off what they see on a weekly basis because he has an irrelevant stat that means whatever you see on the pitch is wrong.
