I need more confidence like you... teaching like a pro.... I knew the theories... I knew the steps... just lack of confidence my calculation answer.... I guess I need practice to get accuracy.... bless me my coming exams..
Best of luck in your structural analysis course, I hope the videos are helpful. It's never easy, but you gotta keep on poppin' and lockin' like the moment distribution method! word.
Seems like you just have a Good Grasp on everything Structural related.... Im reading my book and I thought I bought a Chinese Book wit numbers & lines in 'em, But I Appreciate your work..... Much Respect.... You should be a Teacher.... Do the Damn thang!!!... Peace & Respect...
Just want to say that I am deeply grateful for your videos and you are doing the world a favor. Not sure but I truly hope the rest of the videos will get me through my current structural analysis class (so far at vid 15 its well-appreciated repetition) since your videos are great and our teacher goes throught this too fast.
Excellent tutorial and i love the way you got so excited about the -4.84 KN on the BMD to tie in with your internal moment at C - Left hand side of the cut. hahahahah. You are great.
Hello.. can u shed some greenlight on why did u say 20kN(3m) on the second equation where u were where u were taking moments about D...... *MY QUESTION IS WHERE DID U GET THE 3*
Thank you so much for these great videos. I just need clarity, when you calculated the moment about point D. Why did you make the distributed loading positive not negative? I tried the problem before going through the video but my answer was different. Thank you.
hey could you do a frame analysis problem of a continuous beam, where you solve it by the moment distribution method and the solve for the reactions...
hey mate, Just need a clarification about the shear force you got for the diagonal frame, I followed your method using 9.2cos theta but my friend used 9.2/cos theta instead. Could you tell me which is correct?
why 20 * 3 and not 20*(4+3) in 2:08 ? and in 5:49 how can we decide about Na and Va orientation in the triangle ? can we take it arbitrarily ? thanks for the video i'm waiting for a reply about my two questions.
I have one question , in first member solving, we had Vj1 =-7.6 yet in diagram you took in on upward side !??? Why not downward due to its negative sign
One simple question. My teacher taught that whenever we take bending moment we take down positive and upward negative but in this video its just opposite. I'm confused a bit. Can u help ?
+Yogesh Paudel it is the same all you need to do is put a mark as the upward is the positive if you flip the paper upside down you will see that it is the same drawing
One of my many regrets was passing statics without studying and I got by cheating, now it haunts me all through out my mechanics, dynamics and struc analysis. God damn it.
youtubers with organized playlists of lesson is amazing. Thank you!
Westside!
@@structurefree Hi, where's part 2? I cannot find it in your library.

I needed to review, since its been a year since I took the Structural Analysis, and this brought it all right back!! Great video, and your funny
Good luck with reviewing.

Thank you for your comment and your kindness!!!
Amazing stuff. Thank you, if only they taught us like this, would have been a lot easier. Keep a the good work, mad props.

This shit's so underrated. This taught me better than school man.

Great explanation.. Thank you... It has to be in details as u did, to grasp all the ideas behind.... Thanks again...
Thanks !!!! now can approach any structures question with confidence
+Mashudu Rathogwa get ready to ball!
Thank u hehe, i know my teacher is not gonna give a simple exam so thsnk u
Might be old but every easy understandable explanation .Could you please share link if indeterminate frame manual calculations.

The resultant of the distributed load causes a counterclockwise (ccw) moment about D and we established ccw as the positive direction for equilibrium.
Thank you for your answer and your kindness!!!
Thanks for the vids sir! A question: why (NA) is directed to the right, and not to the left??
Thanks for your knowledge and kindness!!!

Thanks! You helped me with homework.
maaaan good job :) i really wanted an example such like this thanks
why 20 * 3 and not 20*(4+3) in 2:08 ?
and in 5:49 how can we decide about Na and Va orientation in the triangle ? can we take it arbitrarily ?
thanks for the video i'm waiting for a reply about my two questions.
the questions are genuine, i too want an answer to these.
Very usefull video, thanks.
Great Tutorial!!... I have one quick question, why isn't there a horizontal Ax reaction?
Jovin Griffith thanks for the comment and question! there is no horizontal reaction at A since it is a roller.
I have one question , in first member solving, we had Vj1 =-7.6 yet in diagram you took in on upward side !??? Why not downward due to its negative sign
the negative means the direction is opposite of what is assumed in the FBD.
Oh okay sir thank you very much ❤️
@11 minutes you calculate the moments at j. Why is the length 3•sq rt 2 and not just 3
One simple question. My teacher taught that whenever we take bending moment we take down positive and upward negative but in this video its just opposite. I'm confused a bit. Can u help ?

Love your vids but I can only find a summary of virtual work method for frames and not any actual questions, hating structural analysis right now
Where could find an explanation on how you came up with the (3 square root of 2) dimension.
he just applied Pythagorean theorem! you have 3 adj and 3 opp then hyp would be sqrt(3^2+3^2). hope it would help :)
thankyou very much may god bless you !
Tks . You're the best

Great
what if the roller at A supported is become hinge?
You are the man
great video!!! thanks!!!
I have a question, why is A having no x component ? Ax
Prince Djaou yes! I was wondering the same, pls tell me if you know! I have an exam soon😢
It's a roller
Rollers only have vertical forces
roller supporrt is always maintain vertical forces
wht is the program you are writing with please
i use onenote
when the ruller suppor and hinge suporr change there position. here reaction of A get minus sign? is it ok? sir
Thx you're the best :D
Part 2 pleae
it will be better if u had made structure analysis 2 video also..anyway thank you very much!
+Newater Cuzal Like matrix structural analysis? I'll add it to my list.
Try to add the numerical method
Hey Structurefree, could you do some approximate analysis videos for everyone in Structural Analysis II Courses
+11111111111111111111 I'd love you more than I already do structurefree, getting me through my exams because I didn't revise sooner (silly me)
Alright. Are we talking portal frame method and cantilever method?
Hello sir.. i hv a qns.. can i ask?
How are you coming up with these reactions?
"Equalabra-ium Equatoneemoose!" -Severusfree
great
Where is part 2 of this video
Hi, what book and edition is this problem from?
Margot Cecilia Mueller i think i just made this one up, but for structural analysis i like leet and uang, hibbeler, mccormac, ghali and neville.
what's the program u r using ?
i want to know too
