Sin is sin. Homosexuality is a serious challenge, but no more so than any thief, adulterer, or addict. He died not to save us IN our sins, but from them by his grace and power. To the one who overcomes by Jesus, is life everlasting. Sin has bent us inmind, body, and character, but we can do all things...He loves all, but all must repent, take hold of his sufficient grace and power, and overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil, And not practice sin. Jesus speaks truth. HE LOVES ALL, and said"...if it were not so, I would have told you...in describing the mansions in heaven.He will destroy sin, all sin, but he can't if we hold onto our opinions, wishes, distorting truth to fit our own desires. He is not a man to be reinterpreted, and he doesn't lie, or change. Let him save you, as he rescued me from my addictions. He can!
Homosexuality is not a Sin by the way the word was not even used in Jesus day or many years until the 20 th Century. so I am Glad our Lord saved you but again do more study my friend Spiritual Journey..God Bless!
She cant be christian and gay, it's like saying I can be a practicing adulterer and be Christian. Jesus said in Luke 14:27 whoever does not deny themselves and Carrie's their own cross cannot be my disciple. You are giving a non biblical defense for her. You need to read the word kid. Paul said if someone calls themselves a brother but continues to sin do not even have dinner with them. 1 john 3 (he who practices sin is not of God but a son of the devil.) Read your bible kid and stop basing your theology off of feelings.
