What is the responsibilities of the Officers or DOT (regarding semi truck inspections) after a semi is involved in a rollover due to wind? Are they required to do a full inspection on the semi after accident?
I was the victim of a road rage incident and a lady passed me pulled into my lane and no other cars were near neither of us, locked her brakes up and I bumped into her causing only a scratch on her bumper....I had a camera in my truck that clearly shows this, my trucking company's insurance at the time, ruled it to be intentionally caused by the other driver and they denied her claim in which she was lying and stated to the cops that there were major injuries and there were none... I now can no longer find a job as a driver because the reports show there was an accident and possible major injuries. I can't prove any of this because I don't have the money for an attorney to obtain her hospital records to prove she's a liar. I am 53 now, I have no other skills and I have been out of a job since 10/2022 and all my bills are piling up and I have become severely depressed and feel hopeless and suicidal. I am losing everything because of someone who couldn't control her anger and was money hungry! Can anyone steer me in the right direction to get this resolved? Thank you!
