i dont agree, i had trouble finding my videos because they werent in the folder he mentioned, and that was because these were videos i didnt take with my phone, they were sent to me by another phone.

I've been trying to figure this out for months I was even trying the ondrive that was way to much like work and still didn't figure that one out Now all I did was check the file transfer and the window popped up right away with every thing I saved in there. he didnt mention where to find videos that you didnt take with your phone and that were sent to you, they wont be in the folder he mentioned, so he didnt cover it all, and i had trouble finding my videos because they werent in the folder he mentioned, because they were sent to me by another phone.i didnt take them with my phone

@@zodarian6705 you might have the same problem i had, this video didnt help me either because the videos on my phone werent taken by my phone. they were sent to me from another phone, so the videos were in a different folder.and he didnt cover that in this video

This is exactly my issue. My phone storage is being taken up by a bunch of concert videos.
After you transfered your videos or photos to your computer, did you have to go back onto your phone to delete them?
@@jadengoeddeI did, but I always do it that way as an extra safety precaution. I've heard nightmares of files getting lost or corrupted when transferring. But once you safely transfer them to your computer, you should have an option on your phone to "select all" in the video file and delete all. Good luck.

Any advice on what to do if videos don't transfer? I record my class lectures to review later so the videos can be rather long/big. For some reason several of them don't want to transfer over. Some I have no troubles with, some I sit through 20 minutes of copying just for the video to not work when I try to test if I can watch it on my computer, and then I have a couple that apparently don't even exist. Like it's there taking up space on my phone when I open it on the computer, but I can't find it on my phone and it won't transfer at all.
Any advice? These lectures are really important and I'm really frustrated.
Thanks for the help! The screen for transferring files didn't pop up when I connected my phone, and I didn't know I could just open file explorer and find my phone there!

i have been struggling with Windows Photo/Video editor importing files via USB for a couple years...it is a POS but this way is so much faster and easier. I'm still editing using the Windows P/V with good success but this is much better....thanks.

I'd plug my phone into my pc, a pop-up would appear asking to turn on file sharing. I'd click yes. All my files from phone would appear, I'd click on the video I wanted to upload, it would ask what file to put it into, I'd choose, and click transfer, and then nothing. It would just disappear. Damn Microsoft operating system. haha Your method worked the first time! Thanks again!!

Can someone please help! My computer automatically updated by itself, and it messed up something with how my videos import from my android phone. When I put my USB cable into my computer, from my android, a window would pop up automatically showing my pictures and videos in, I think the pictures screen, where I could easily select it, and import it in a matter of seconds. Now when I put the cable in, it's going to the folders section and showing my phones storage. How do I get it to import into my Windows 10 where I can just simply select the video and import it into my pictures folder? Please? Anyone?...SBN RESONATE

mine doesnt have usb settings. when searching in settings theres only usb tethering (share your phones internet using usb cable) and an app called usb settings. it says i have this app downloaded but cant find its shortcut anywhere to launch it and when i searched its name in apps it doesnt show up. only when searing the term usb in all settings. using galaxy a01 core

Samsung makes it so incredibly difficult to download phone content. Miss the times when it was just plug and play.
