For over a year I had been transferring videos through FB Messenger, takes Hours for a 4 min video and PC Datalink nor USB cable shows files on my phone. Thanks for this video, works great.
This was perfect. THANK YOU. I can now send videos longer than 10 seconds to my computer. In the past, I have always had to trim them down to under 10 seconds in order to transfer from phone to pc. Now, I can send the whole smack. Your instructions were simple and easy to follow. No stopping me now!
you left out one crucial step. go into "settings," go into "connected devices," click on "USB preferences" make sure the "file transfer" "button" is selected. if "file transfer" is not selected you will not be able to see your files on whatever computer you are connected to.
I don't see "USB preferences" in the Connected Devices part of my phone. Like you said, I can't access this file in my Windows 11 computer. All I see is that it transferred to the Samsung Flow folder that popped up. OMG do I miss Windows 10. I've watched countless UA-cam videos today and can't seem to find a way to get my files or pictures off of my Samsung S24 phone.
Thank you! Link to Windows and directly plugging in my S24U was not working for file transfers. Samsung Flow saved the day. Thanks for the video....I didn't know this was another file transfer option for Samsung to PC.
THANK YOU!!! My phone started doing a weird thing where it doesn't transfer all the files when you hook it up via cable and I couldn't get them to upload onto my google drive. Flow got the stuck content OUT OF MY PHONE!!!! It's a Halloween miracle LOL
@0:47 - There is no "USB File Transfer" option showing on my Galaxy A54 phone. This is bollocks... I'm never buying Samsung again. Constant problems from the get-go.
My cable connection isn't working which would be my prefered method to transfer files. I have done the device debugging so if anyone knows how to fix that I would appreciate it! However this video was super helpful and I could see myself retraining my file transfer process using this method. Thanks!
It's all fine and simple, but how do you transfer photos that are not in my camera but in my samsung gallery. Seems the only way is to go to download (not DCIM) and select the photos there or is there a simpler way?
When I look at the S21 with a file browser on Windows 11 I see NO files on the Samsung (wire USB connected) but I do see the folders. Browser reports each folder is empty whereas I know there are files in DCIM and Download. I had to use Myfiles on the S21 to upload using home wifi to my Google Drive folder and then download to PC.
If transferring in mass, how to then delete the same files in mass from the original Samsung destination folder? I did it for 100 files (the maximum) across several hundred to a thousand, or so, so manually finding and deleted those 100 would be insane. Surely Samsung or a third-party has something for this? (I've been trying to figure it out for hours. Nothing works or applies, it seems). Surely others want to do this in mass, right?
when I unlock my Samsung phone then swipe down I do not see a file transfer option :P I do not want to install any apps just to transfer files. My LG does this automatically so why cant the Samsung do it?
Same here, it doesn't transfer both ways. Says I might not have the "right permissions" but I gave all the permissions. There is also an error code (0x80004003), I have searched about it but couldn't find any fixes. There was one topic about file transnfer issues; someone have said it is fixed when they changed file transfer folder to "My Documents" from "Samsung Flow" folder in the phone, I have tried but still doesn't work. Have you find any solutions yet?
@@SamCambetis am i able to connect my phone to my pc so i can be using my pc storage and also the other way around is that possible aswell please get back as soon as you can thanks
I can see only "Device control" and "Media output"/No trace of USB possibility. So the first part of the clip is useless from my point of view.Maybe one needs a top of the line Samsung
ATTENTION: You can only transfer 500 files at a time, so if you're dealing with thousands of photos, this will get very tedious. My old s21U USB plug no longer works, so this is my only option. Also, when you try to transfer 500 images at a time, it will constantly fail, so if you're dealing with thousands of images, you will lose track of what transferred and what didn't.
That's nice but you went far too fast for me to process the information and what you were showing us. Please, to all info-video creators, remember that what's dead easy for you is NOT easy for the viewers. if it was, we wouldn't be watching!
Thanks for being so observant, I'm over 70 😂 and you speak a mile a minute and do stuff far too fast. Why make a tutorial that doesn't reach everyone? Waste of your time. Slow down, be a good teacher. We aren't all 20-something.

Connect usb cable , drag notification bar and select usb settings if visible try to change usb cable review developer settings
I needed to get into developer settings to make it show up. You can change the USB config from there.

It would have been nice if you would have showed where other file types end up being stored.
My Samsung phone doesn't connect to my computer with a C cable. Nothing shows up.
How do you transfer from pc to the phone? I just switched from Apple and I am going crazy.
thank u so much SamCambetis you are best girl youtuber thank you🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you 👍🏼
A few days ago I transferred files using Samsung Flow and it always worked, but now it always fails. What should I do?
There is an app called blip.net, go to their website and check it out, its cross platform so you can use it android to windows
Thanks Sam, you shared something which made life easy to transfer files from Samsung Mobile.
is it possible to transfer photos from PC to Galaxy phone using Flow? If so kindly explain
The Windows application looks to have a plus button in the bottom left. Presumably it works similarly to transferring the other way?
good videos thank you
For some reason, my s23 ulra isn't working with this method. I'll have to watch a different video.
Thank you!

I don't have that USB for file transfer selection on my S22. Is that why you have to go into debug mode and allow USB debugging?
