So in this day and age, with internet storage, the video can and usually will eventually auto-records over itself
Defendant was very ignorant and incompetent in arguing her side. She admitted full fault and stated she should pay. She had to get help from the judge for her defense. She finally said something after the trial was done and over. She could have easily won if she defended herself and put the blame on the plaintiff- she did the opposite . Remember - if your at a trial , and something comes up to blame you, don’t affirm it and blame yourself more. Try ti argue against it, and say something that puts the blame on the other party. People become experienced in these trials and become experts in articulation and rhetoric and can make the other party look blameworthy quite well.
So basically you are saying she should have lied? Both sides told their stories, she tried and failed to sensationalize her side of it while also claiming she is not responsible. Plaintiff just stated the facts, she had no leg to stand on, so weather she lied or not he had more physical evidence to win case.

And yes, I know that it's not the behavior of the dog, it's the owner. That's actually more what my question means: How many PEOPLE actually make sure their DOG is safe in a public place like this? Like, imagine it was a small breed that got bit and not a person's finger...There could've been worse damage and an animal could've DIED during a mauling. Plantiff does have some gorgeous dogs. ;o I have a bias toward the fluffier breeds, but am honestly a cat person above all. :P
Its a good thing that the defendant's boyfriend is not there in the courtroom. I'm sure Judge would have some questions for him. Like what happened to the security footage when he worked at the location. She has a boyfriend and an "emotional support" buddy. Is that a thing now?
You never get near their mouths! You stand behind the dog & holding their legs upward you walk backwards. 1 person behind each dog, to pull them apart safely. Pass this along to anyone who may not know.
I don't like people's defense being "is a postscript dog." If you know it's protective, then you need to train it to only "protect" you when either you tell it to or you're on your own property! Being protective doesn't count when the dog gets loose and attacks another dog away from its owner.
First of all, do not ever take a dog aggressive canine anywhere where other dogs would be close range. Also, you have to be completely alert to your dogs movements and gestures, all while holding BY the collar, not a leash. A particularly strong dog may also need to be straddled. A prong collar is sometimes a must.

Most dogs are perfectly ok. They aren't any problem to you so why shouldn't owners take their dogs out and give dog good socialisation and relationships. Problem is the owners that don't train their dogs to be social etc.
Animal owners are always the negligent ones in situations such as this. It bothers me that folks decide to own these dogs, but cannot take the proper care and control of them. If it were up to me many people wouldn't be allowed to own them.

Dogs in a restaurant, sounds like a great idea 🙄
It's disgusting
A dog fight at a "dog friendly restaurant" wow what a surprise. Remember the old days when a dog friendly restaurant meant a backyard BBQ and only the homeowner's dog was there.
"It's not that he doesn't like other dogs, he doesn't like erratic dogs that go up to him." So he's fine as long as other dog owners don't let their dogs get near him. Does that sound like a narcissistic excuse?
Really and her last defense was the dog isn’t mine and boyfriend and I no longer see each other.
The face Douglas made when she said the dogs were licking the guy's plate. 😆
Stupid dog + stupid handler = disaster waiting to happen. Boxers are the dumbest. Hand one to some idiot that doesn’t understand living in society. This happens. 🤦🏼♀️
PET FRIENDLY RESTAURANT???
That's disgusting, I'm sick and tired of people taking their dogs to grocery stores restaurants, public transportation etc etc etc!!!!!
Well, you don’t have to make out with the dogs. How is that disgusting? 😂
My Service Dog goes everywhere with me.
Smarter, cleaner, and more polite than most people.
This must be so shocking. You're gonna be shocked to know that dogs are also welcome in some hotels, airplanes, stores. You poor thing
@@LL-ku8cr you mental
You can go to another store, another restaurant, get a car ect ect ect
so YOUR dog got out of his collar. So its YOUR fault. simple.
Judge said that the lady "weighs 100 lbs. soaking wet". Nahhhhhh, she's an easy 140.
That was no boxer….omg
If it's not a service dog, keep your dog at home!!!! Dogs don't belong in restaurants.
I used to go to this coffee shop with my dog after an early hike since they had an outdoor veranda; it's really all about situational awareness🤷
Even service dogs don't belong in restaurants- keep them at home or in the car, not around food.
@@GardenerEarthGuy where I live it's too hot for them to be in a car and actually don't recommend leaving any pets in a car ever
@@payableondeath9091 then leave it at home..at the end of the day it's a wild animal with primal instincts, and being around a bunch of food or other people and dogs cans always go bad quick.
@@payableondeath9091 home would be a better place than a resturant- people can be allergic to dogs and have a right not to be exposed.
A dog friendly place is different, but a regular place shouldn't have to deal with a dog running around making people sick.
This girl is young.....It's someone else's fault!! Take responsibility chickie.
Old people do it to, it’s not an age thing.
She put homie into the friend zone right off the get on front street
If you lose control of your dog, and it causes damage or injury, then it is your fault, and you are responsible.
The Defendant! That is SOOOO great example of young America today!!!
You really think only young people today think like that ? That's like old folks claiming that everything in the 1950s was perfect and that there was no crimes, no lying, no cheating, no wars, etc.
Old people my age (63) are just as irresponsible
12:00 the way her eyes lit up lmao!!
I just don't understand people taking their dogs to a restaurant. (even a "dog friendly restaurant") Do you eat at home with your dogs? Do they sit at the table with you? Do the dogs enjoy the experience? How can you tell? I think some of these dogs need emotional support humans instead of these humans need emotional support dogs. We have a pitbull that is the sweetest girl in the world, but I would never take her to a public place and put her her in danger....
Well said 👏 👌 👍
That sucks but this is why I don’t take my dogs to dog parks or anywhere like that cuz there’s always some idiot
So he should have moved tables, but she doesn't feel like she should NOT take a dog she cant' control, that doesn't get along with other dogs into a public dog space?
Accept FREAK'N RESPONSIBLITY for your dog!!! These are the WORST people to be in charge of dogs!!!!!!!!!
Do NOT bring your dog to a Public place like that if YOUR dog cant handle other dogs/very protective
or maybe don't take a dog that you can't control to a public place - regardless if it's dog friendly or not. boxers are weird anyway (no offense to boxer owners - just been my experience with every single one i've ever met)
He has beautiful❤dogs
Huskies have zero aggression worst guard dogs ever, but they absolutely love their family and anyone who will pet them and call them pretty
She is a pretty girl but a lame person, she tried to dodge her responsibility, such a bad person will always be a problem to someone.
Stop bringing animals to restaurants! keep your dogs at home!
IT IS A DOG FRIENDLY RESTRAUNT THEY ALLOW DOGS DO YOU UNDERSTAND IF YOU DON'T LIKE DOG FRIENDLY ESTABLISMENTS DO NOT GO THERE
It's soooo convenient for the ex or boyfriend or husband to not show up in court and let their females do all the dirty work. How typical. 🙄I wouldn't put up with it.
We have huskies that are friendly and we have been attacked multiple times from 3 small mix dogs to 2 big Sheppards everytime at a dog park or dog friendly places.
Owners know when their dog should not be around others dogs.
We would rather they say "my dogs are not friendly" so we can get away from them than be anywhere near questionable owners.
5:59 Douglas’ face! 😂
A risk of taking your dog into public and its always hard to prove which dog was the aggressor.
😆😆😆😆 The restaurant may claim to be dog friendly but, that doesn't mean the dogs are friendly. Same applies to people.🙁
In response to 12:25 - actually, today, if you don't pay extra for online storage, the memory card auto-records over itself once the card is full. And the online storage does likewise, depending which package you paid for (24-hour storage, 7-day storage, 30-day storage, etc).
@@billmoran3219
No . Always speak the truth. She could have said - “ I was there with my dog first minding my own business , then he came in with his dogs and brought them near my dogs. I tried to restrain my dogs, but his dogs provoked my dog too much and he broke out his collar. His dogs were twice the size of my dog, theb his dogs went near me my dog was defending me, and I tried my best to restrain him. The irresponsible plaintiff failed too leash his dogs close to him, but kept the leash extended till his dogs jumped on me. “ etc etc.
It’s a matter of talk and argumentation. Some lawyers are good at articulation and they can fool the best of judges .
@Shaikhofilm 🤣🤣your putting up a fake argument already. So basically your saying lie
@@southernzen365
Hi. Don’t lie. Just don’t answer the question , and state some other true statement that benefits your side.
People make their judgments through their minds. Try to make their minds think favorably for your side .
Otherwise don’t defend and be a defendant. Just pay everything.
So you are saying to lie? The father of all liars is one…. Satan
The Defendant is proof of how this generation takes no accountability for their actions. At the end, when this young lady said she didn't think she was fully at fault- WRONG. Own up to your mistakes and quit putting your actions on everyone around you. He could've sat at the table right next to her if he wanted to- the fact of the matter is- her dog attacked.
Every generation says that about the one after it. 🙄
This is why I have a cat
Hmmm....Restaraunt is dog friendly...
But how many *dogs* are *restaraunt* friendly?
(genuine question)
Service dogs aside because they are trained to not focus on anything but their owner.
I agree keep your dogs out of restaurants.
The dog that was supposed to be under the defendant's control got loose. It was 100% her responsibility for the incident.
9:24 omg his dogs are absolutely beautiful 😊
I hate when people take their dogs everywhere and have no control of them🤦🏻♀️
How do you get the health dept to ok a dog friendly restaurant?
Its a good thing that the defendant's boyfriend is not there in the courtroom. I'm sure Judge would have some questions for him. Like what happened to the security footage when he worked at the location. She has a boyfriend and an "emotional support" buddy. Is that a thing now?
have him who is seated already to move,, um maybe you should move yourself to elsewhere or get out lol geesh
You never get near their mouths! You stand behind the dog & holding their legs upward you walk backwards. 1 person behind each dog, to pull them apart safely. Pass this along to anyone who may not know.
She doesn’t get it.
I don't like people's defense being "is a postscript dog." If you know it's protective, then you need to train it to only "protect" you when either you tell it to or you're on your own property! Being protective doesn't count when the dog gets loose and attacks another dog away from its owner.
The way I would never go to a dog friendly restaurant
This lady is crazy
First of all, do not ever take a dog aggressive canine anywhere where other dogs would be close range. Also, you have to be completely alert to your dogs movements and gestures, all while holding BY the collar, not a leash. A particularly strong dog may also need to be straddled. A prong collar is sometimes a must.
I can think of few things more disgusting than being in a restaurant and someone brings a dog into the restaurant. Just because someone loves their dog, they should never assume that everyone else loves their animal as well.
@@decentamerican7156 What ? is a spook
From the description they were outside on a patio.
I think it's gross too, but it was a dog friendly restaurant, so it's expected that people will bring their dogs to that particular restaurant. I would simply not go to that type of restaurant.
@@katalina1699 it’s a racist term to refer to people of color. This asshole is being a racist troll, just don’t interact with him because that’s exactly what he wants
You should not go to Belgium, Germany, Austria and other European countries then! Dogs are allowed everywhere! Especially at restaurants and cafes close to parks you will certainly see dogs! As for that being disgusting for you, it's your problem! What is disgusting with a well behaved dog sitting in a restaurant?
Lol how is it partially his responsibility when you couldn’t control the dog??
Defendant had made so many poor choices? She brings a dog the has the potential to bit "When Scared"? Then she adds, and it has before? Her grabbing the dog, pulling it it tight, probably set off its' protection mode to protect her?
Am I the only one that thinks it's odd she doesn't refer to her dog by name?
Yes
She doesn't trust the dog who is nervous like her. Sadly all she and her ex needed to watch was a 10 minute FREE online tutorial "correcting the nervous energy".
All that the dog is shy and the dog doesn't like this and that... Judge Judy would've shut that down.. She would say aht aht I don't wanna hear that.. It's a dog you don't know about if it's shy or not
I hate people so much....can't we all just TRY to be decent?
How about locking the leashes as soon as each of you sat down. If they were locked and the dog(s) got out of your control then leave your dog at home.
So unfortunate that the defendant decided to do the “woe is me I’m just a weak female” SMH
Defendant expects plaintiff 2 be a mind reader, he should know she wasn't owner, should have known someone was getting owner, etc. Crazy!!!
She should let the defendant have it. She is someone who thinks other people are responsible for her stupidity. It could have been much worse.
The moment that dog got out of his leash, the defendant became liable.
I find it totally unhygienic to see a dog in a supermarket and especially in a restaurant, and I certainly would not remain in the restaurant if they sat a dog next to me, first of all they smell, and secondly, I don't know its character and I am certainly not going to take any risks...
Dog parks, shared dog spaces will always have attacks. I tried to introduce 2 dogs i knew very well with 0 previous aggression. One just went nuts and almost killed the other. Dogs are unpredictable
She has not acknowledged her responsibility, nor that her dog is dangerous. She said it was a bulldog, but we never saw a photo, I'm wondering if it wasn't in reality a Pitbull, either way it should not be taken out into public without a muzzle...
She’s trying to Blink her what through responsibility.
Anyone that blinks that much is hiding something.
I don’t understand if they know the dog is skittish of other dogs or whatever regardless if the place was empty at the time you know it’s a dog friendly-laced other dogs could show up…the defendants dog should have never been there. It’s not his fault she couldn’t control the dog
I'm sick of seeing dogs everywhere
Most dogs are perfectly ok. They aren't any problem to you so why shouldn't owners take their dogs out and give dog good socialisation and relationships. Problem is the owners that don't train their dogs to be social etc.
13:45 question if the judge said she’s finding them both accountable but he wasn’t in court how does that get enforced?
Wow, the defendant’s ex is a real prince. 😒
Homegirl is professional shish shoveller
Animal owners are always the negligent ones in situations such as this. It bothers me that folks decide to own these dogs, but cannot take the proper care and control of them. If it were up to me many people wouldn't be allowed to own them.
I would love to have a dog but I've had cats my whole life and I just know that unless I get some training I wouldn't be the best dog owner because I'm too soft I won't be firm enough with a dog and You just cannot do that with every dog. I very much agree with you on this one there are a lot of irresponsible pet owners
And in this case, That dog who belongs to her boyfriend was too much for her to be hanging out where other dogs could come in contact with them. She also said that the dog had been attacked before and it was real nervous.🤷
Her lackadaisical demeanor is unbelievable 🤦🏽♀️
I love dogs, but do we really need them at a restaurant, where food is being prepared and consumed? Also seems like a big liability for the business owners.
Why on earth is her ex at fault for this. She lost control of the dog why is he liable what do ever. This is the first case the owner of the dog and not the person who has it has been found liable in the people's court from what I can recall
ex was a turd for not paying, especially knowing the dog. they both should have made sure it was handled - but 'hey, who gives a sh*t about people and their loved ones, amirite'?
@5:54 is the reason why I develop a sudden stomach ache that prevents me from eating whenever there is Pot Luck at work.
