I was a backer on PDs project and have had it 2 years now. It is the best travel tripod out there IMHO. Packs and carries very well for hiking and airline carry on, but just as importantly, is a very good tripod. Used with a compact RRS pano-gimbal head, it excels for my use. The PD head is used as a base mount for my RRS head, but is also available for general use when I do not have the RRS pano head on it.

I don’t even know what it is 😁 But love how sturdy it is and how it carries eos r + 24-70 type of setups

Glad you liked it! Not really convinient for a heavier setup like Canon EOS R +16-35, so i’m not using it. But still really enjoying this tripod
