Gimbal Owner PSA: In case this is helpful to anyone because it took me A TON of trial and error to find a setup that I can fit a gimbal in without a separate case, in the V1 Medium (theoretically V2 should be the same) I can fit the DJI RS3 Gimbal (if you break it all the way down and lay the main arm flat) 2 Canon R6 bodies, 15-35 RF, 24-70 RF, 70-200 RF, a flash, and a charger with batteries. It's cozy, but I actually feel safer when things don't have room to slide around.
I'm so glad she mentioned that at 9:46. I didn't know that and purchased the 30l thinking my large camera cube was gonna fit. Later I purchased the 45l travel backpack and I love it ❤
@@Willymaze with the 30l travel backpack, the medium and large camera cube will only fit in the bag's extended state. I didn't know that when I first purchased the 30l. I have the v1 cubes, 35L backpack, and a duffel. I was worried I was over doing it, but load them up all the time. And even use the cube separately at times. I don't clip. I love that I can move the cubes around and not having them clipped makes that that much easier, and have never had an issue (I do keep the clips in a pouch tucked in the side, so I can always pull them out and use them if needed for some reason. This video is a hoot and a half. Entertaining in its own right! The harder part is figuring out the exact system to lug my growing photographic gear collection. Which of the backpacks/duffels with cubes would meet the FAA carryon regulations?
9:42 I recently purchased a 30L travel backpack with a xsmall, smedium and medium camera cubes. The smedium, if not packed full, seems to fit very well without expanding the travel backpack.
Oh man… I own 1 lage, 2 medium and 2 small cubes. It’s alway a hustle to pack everything on the edges, but this is a game changer. Definitely uprgading 🤘
This is the first time I have ever ever wanted to upgrade ANYTHING to a V2 for more reason than just a color. The cube bag has been AMAZING. I use it everywhere. Concerts, shooting sport events, parties, clubs, shows, whatever. Nobody ever bothers me about it ( I think because they think I'm carrying a purse not a camera?). When I rolled a full back pack set up, night clubs would always stop me and not want to let me in. A little palm and it's fine, but that adds up when you're going club to club. I totally understand it, but you got to have a bag to protect the gear when out. If you guys are having thoughts or wanting to buy the discounted V1 bag now, DO IT. It's worth every single penny. I might buy a spare just in case I can't get a hold of one later on.... Edit: I guess this would make sense to put in. Saw some other comments. Inside bag contents : Sony A7IV Sony GM 24mm 2 batteries Portable light x1 or x2 (Lume Cube Mini types) Clutch and Cuff mounted to same plate which I can just take off quickly for tripod use. Leash (for carrying the cube and sometimes I just swap it to the camera and toss the cube in a pack) Peak Cloth Sack (the one they give you free) that has little tools and whatever tripod mount I need for the day. The bag is perfect for protecting the camera stuff from the mounts and tools in case they get shuffled around. 1 peak divider just to keep tools and camera separate

Love your style - honestly just these videos win me over to PD. PS. I'm originally from South Africa, now in Aus, and did a lot of wildlife photography: I can confirm first hand that elephants do, in fact, contain horses.
I wish you would’ve included the 30L and the smedium bag… the 30L bag is small enough to be considered a “personal” bag by European airlines that are VERY strict about bag sizes. My camera gear; Sony a7iv, 24/1.4, 50/1.2 & 70-200/4 along with batteries etc… so the smedium bag is the ideal size, for me.
My basic kit is a D500 with 16-80. A Pano GH6 with 14-40. An SB800 Flash. ZoomH5 recorder and a Shure VP-83F LensHopper. Charger + 2x batteries for each camera and cable. 2 x LED Small Rig RM75 video lights. Any thoughts on appropriate choice of Cube appreciated.
Erm, love the look but my v1 small cube was underwhelming. It’s way too big for what you can pack inside it. So can’t fit enough into the 45l travel backpack when you have the cube in. So became a storage cube rather than anything useful. Kinda like the extra small as might fix the issue.
I disagree with the small V1 being small, I think that you needed a bigger cube to begin with. I upgraded to the V2 but actually bought a second small V1 for the flexibility. I do however recommend you the Smedium; it's 1.5 units or 1.5X the size of the small, while being more compact on the outside. This also means that you can use 2 inside your 45L bag.
Ha ha ha I gotta say - I always have to watch your videos even if I am perfectly happy with my 30L Everyday backpack! Just gotta check what your marketeers are up to! I never knew dogs were constructed that way! Anatomy 101 :O

I hate the opening design. Why the opening is smaller than the inside makes no sense. And it's a little bit too small for me. The small camera cube at 5.1L internal volume would be a lot more useful!
I ordered the smedium on Amazon and they have a picture with side access on the listing. Now I’m upset that the actual product won’t have side access. Very misleading picture on the listing

There are so many more things you can show which would make it so much easier to decide on the right setup I find that to be the same problem all across your videos and product showcases. Maybe that's just me but I have a feeling others would appreciate this info as well. For example medium cube two Sony cameras with lenses attached set up in a way that you can access each camera on each side of the 45 backpack. V2 doesn’t work with Slide to create a sling. Unlike V1, tether points are off-center on either side (there are 2 on each side) so it is impossible to balance the bag. A terrible design change.
