Hey Matt, thank you. Keep being yourself. You may not be able to drive a car efficiently, but your integrity and honesty is off the charts great. Keep telling it like it is. You help me/us significantly. Thank you!
@jadoctor he has an anxiety problem. Something he's been battling for a long time. I'm not sure of clinical term, and I'm not sure what kind of treatment he's receiving. Prayers go Matts way.
On your recommendation, I bought a Karcher K1700 in May of 2019 and it’s still going strong after 4 years of weekly washes for 2 cars. I’ve since bought 3 more and stashed them at my Mom’s house, my GF’s parents’ house and my Aunt’s house so I always have one available to clean their cars when I visit. At $120 a pop, they’re such an excellent value. I’ve got your advanced upgrade kit and the upgraded gun/wand/hose/nozzles make it an absolute joy to use. Appreciate all your hard work in vetting these products for us. We’re lucky to have you, Matt!
had a client recommend this to me , read the reviews on amazon and immediately killed that idea. This video just solidified what I already thought may be the case. Thank you for your curt honesty.
When I saw UA-camrs promoting these I looked at them and knew instantly they were crap. Have to thank the great OG pressure washing testing videos for gaining the knowledge. They make no sense. $300 + for an $80 pressure washer. So when that cheap pressure washer motor goes bad and isn’t repair-able the hose reel is useless also and you have to buy both again. Far better off to buy the Ryobi or Karcher and a separate hose reel.
Hey Matt I’ve been as you know watching you for the past six years and as you know people who can appreciate quality will buy from you… people who do not appreciate quality and pretty much just want junk in their life will always buy junk..
I have the Grandfalls Pro. To me it works great and has plenty of pressure for car detailing. Personally I don't want paint-stripping levels of spray pressure for car washing, I have another portable pressure washer that I can use for that if needed. Could it use a bit higher GPM?...yes, but it is sufficient overall. Would be nice if it were more like 2 or 2.3 GPM, but again it's OK. It seems to be made well-enough and I have had no issues with it, but time will tell long-term. Part of the equation in buying it is I could buy 4-6 of these units for the price of a pro-level wall mount setup, and the usage rate of a home-user a couple times per month vs a professional detailer comes into the equation as well with regard to expected longevity. If I were doing this professionally I would definitely not select this unit. Also worth noting as I investigated these the Pro model is a big improvement over the earlier/lower models b/c of the improved motor. Good luck! YMMV.
This is by far the worst performing while also being the highest price consumer grade pressure washer. Any Ryboi, SunJoe, Greenworks, AR are better than this by a wide margin. I've literally tested them all. Shoot, you could get a legit Karcher for $180. This goes to show how poor consumers are at buying stuff. It's the main reason why I'm here, to save you from yourself.
@@ObsessedGarage thanks. Are any of those wall mounted? That’s the rub. There are no wall mounted competitors anywhere near the price point. I have a Greenworks portable and before that had two Karcher portables. Karchers were absolute crap and died in less than a year. Greenworks has been going strong for 3+ years. Love your videos and site, no harm intended just don’t completely agree with you on this one. Thanks for all you do.
@@NicholasShumakerthat’s exactly it Nicholas. I watched this video before getting my first one. He makes good points but I’m not doing anything commercial. I just want a regular pressure washer that is more convenient. The g20 and g30 gets the job done. I’ve had other versions which weren’t convenient. We wouldn’t use them as after because of the hassle. The higher price is justified by the convenience.
Bought the Super Plus Plus+ Max Deluxe edition off amazon. It arrived, I saw this video and immediately returned it. Appreciate your honesty. I can say that knowing youll expose flaws in any product, not just this one. Don't lose sight of that.
It is true that they try to reach out to smaller creators, hoping that they'll get excited that a company noticed them, with them not knowing any better. They reached out to me before and I declined, but not every small creator knows what BS might look like. They take advantage of the creator's excitement for being noticed. That is their marketing scheme. I would 100% recommend the Active 2.0 if anyone is in the comments looking at suggestions or feedback from others. Amazing pressure washer for this price range.
Making videos on poor quality products like this is very helpful and Matt should think about doing more to shine a bright spotlight on scam products/operations like these guys.
I don’t think it more about poor quality as it is price to value. There are much worse products out there when it comes to quality. The issue here is more about the price.
This is what I came here for. Brutal honesty that can’t be bought. Don’t ever change. You’ve created a place where people can go when they want the absolute best of the best of whatever you’ve set your laser focus on. Thank you!
@ people get things twisted in their heads. Just because someone has done the research doesn’t mean you must buy or that you can even afford said thing. Ultimately you are in control of your decisions and actions. Don’t shoot the messenger - learn from and appreciate the work he’s done. Pretty simple.
Honestly feels like you just want people to go to your store. The kranzel you want everyone to buy is doing 1.9 gpm vs 1.6 the giraffe. The giraffe is dirt cheap I’m sure most people would be plenty happy with the performance. For outside pressure water stuff better off with a gas powered high flow pressure washer.
Joshv did a test using pressure gauges, and simple tests to gallons per minute. His results were: the largest and most expensive didn’t fare well in the test, the smaller less expensive one had decent results. Just because it doesn’t deliver the results that your $2000 unit does, doesn’t mean it is junk! Wow! To call people who may own one of these units idiots is ridiculous! Hopefully no one will buy from obsessed garage…the real idiots! No, I don’t own one of these!
Hilariousness aside, you really should do more of these. This will help MANY people and prevent them from wasting hard earned money. JMO for what it’s worth.
$100 craftsman with a 3.0 nozzle had treated me so much better than these would have for my begginer unit. Loved it until my apartment complex told me I'm not allowed to wash my car anymore... IK foam pro 12 and ONR rinseless in the garage now.
This guy is full of contradictions....says he could tell that the Giraffe was crap even before testing. But he also says in this video that the pump is "likely" in the bottom of the unit. So dude is either careless/imprecise with words or lying. And who really cares if there is a lag (1 second in fact) between letting go of the trigger and when the unit turns off? Wouldn't this be due to the 100ft line length (expansion) and not the fricken switch? There's a ton of other lunacy in this video "I'm not going to" do this and that and then he does it. Crazy town.
This solidifies my choice to just keep using my el cheapo Greenworks with an upgraded hose and gun until it breaks. I'll buy a GOOD one when the time comes.
I bought a simple leader hose from Giraffe, leaked like a sieve. Pure garbage. If they can not get a simple fitting to seal, how the hell are they going farther beyond that???
I bought a Karcher 1700 after watching your video, spec’s the orifice nozzles, an Amazon hose reel and Amazon hose and it has run for hundreds, Yes hundreds of hours without drama. One time I was wearing headphones and I had disconnected the water with the machine on and it ran for anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute WITHOUT WATER. It has never failed me and I plan on replacing it with another 1700 when it’s gone it’s been that good.
A cheap Home Depot pressure washer lasts me about 5 years with moderate use. Then I go buy another one. If I was using it commercially, then of couse I'd spend money on the best one available. Same thing with my zero turn mower. I got a $4000 Toro Timecutter that I've had for five years now instead of buying a $15,000 Exmark or Scag that is designed for commercial use.
@@timkinley1779 For me, its the end result that matters most. My lawn looks as good or better than all of my neighbors who use commercial landscapers to cut their lawns. Same lawn stripes, perfect cut every time. By the way, Dixie Chopper makes residential zero turns as well as commercial zero turns. It's not strictly a commercial brand.
@@Japplesnap Sometimes it is about the want. I wanted a Dixie Chopper. So I bought one. And when the fellas are over, drinking a few cold beers, nobody gives the Toro a second look. But everybody mentions the Dixie.
Yeah I got a SunJoe from Home Depot back in 2016 when I first started to dive into detailing my own vehicles and I can’t get this damn thing to die. I plan on getting a Kranzle when this thing finally lets go but who knows when that’ll be
@@timkinley1779 Um....okay. lol I'm not trying to impress anyone with my lawn mower. Nobody sees it in the shed. My garage is my showpiece and contains my cars. I do find it interesting that you still have your Toro though. Why is that? Who needs two zero turns?
I could not disagree with your opinion more. I love this pressure washer. A year and a half and no issues...perfect to wash a car. Not everyone needs pro level stuff to wash their car or to do small tasks around the house. Several of my friends bought them after they saw mine and how convenient it is. Out of 4 units between me and my friends one has failed because it was left outside in below 0 temperatures. Guess what they replaced it no questions asked. The hose reel convivence is unbeatable and frankly unmatched. To say this is the worst pressure washer in existence is just frankly not true and it sounds like you made this video because it was taking money away from "your" products.
That’s cute you bought a terrible product!! Sounds like you and “your friends” share the same ignorant mindset. But I am sure you spent your money wisely and are just frustrated you can’t admit you lack any intelligence.
You wised me up on pressure washers. I have the Kranzle 1322 for around the house and the Active 2.0 for a traveling pressure washer. I won't lie about if I lived by OG I would probably be spending 50 to 100 a week there on average.
Was thinking getting the Giraffe for awhile until I saw on reddit a reference to this video. Great info thanks! going to go with Active 2.0 set up from a local distributer now :)
Well, I bought one of these about a year ago. Had I known it was the worst of all time I would have went with something else. I've had no issues with it, and used it a few times a week in the time I've had it. It definitely isn't super powerful, but has been able to do everything I wanted to be able to do with it. If/when it fails, I will pickup a legit setup. Also, I must have gotten the super low level version because it was $280 when I bought it. Hoping this decision doesn't get me banned from the Obsessed Garage family haha.
Credit where credit is due and Matt does go to a level of testing and discussion that few if any can replicate . The Legend of the Moreman continues .... 👌👌👌👌👌
What wall mounted pressure washer do you recommend for a home handy man/general consumer. Don't want to break the budget, wash 3 cars every 2-3 months or so, driveway twice a year or so.
Agree with a lot of what you said about falling into the marketing trap. With so much sponsored content online now it's hard to know what's an actual good product or not. I'm basically of the mindset that if I see dozens of people on UA-cam pushing the same thing (i.e. Athletic Greens), I probably won't buy it. I'm curious about the $200 Husqvarna unit they have at Costco. It looks really nice, but can't find much about it online.
If you are talking about the gas one, one of my friend who is a weekend warrior when it comes to detailing has it. It gets used once or twice a week to wash cars and he bought it about a year ago. He had two small leaks happen in that time period both of which were only cheap o-rings. Other than that he really likes it
I had the electric Husqvarna for about a year. Overall it was decent and gave me no issues during my time with it. I upgraded to a Kranzle and gave it away, but with Costco's warranty it is a solid option. I will say that in order to use the stock hose you must be a massachist, so budget for a replacement.
@@Robthebob_ I've got an aftermarket hose and wand already, I just need a new unit because the ancient Snap On washer I have now apparently died. Maybe I'll check it out, just wasn't sure if it was worth it over something like the Kranzle K1700 that Matt sells. Good point on the warranty.
Thanks for posting an honest review, I was sent 2 Units for free, The Regular Version & Pro Version they both stopped working within a year. Like mentioned it blew my breaker multiple time because it was maxing out over 15amp. To be honest at first I loved it being 100ft Retractable hose being able to do my driveway etc. But for the regular consumer I wouldn't buy them. Be Warned. I just picked up a Active 2.0.
Matt, few things I hate about this pressure washer. First and most Giraffe Tools customer service is terrible, they have no clue. You ask the same question ten different ways, and they still won't know. Mount should be at least 16 inches wide. In order to mount that I had to open my wall, this thing is heavy. Of course, you can do plywood or any type of board, but it would push it out of the wall and look bad. The water inlet is so weak, I broke one already trying to put a 90 elbow, and I don't know who engineered this, but man, it's a nightmare. I have the orange one, supposedly with a better hose. It's still stiff and hard to maneuver, I can only imagine how the previous model must be having a new one so bad. But at least it's replaceable, so I might change it one day. Foam cannon that came with it is too small, barely can go around my car with first hit of foam, but this can be fixed by simply getting a bigger foam cannon. We will see how long this machine lasts. Other than that, I can't complain. Sound doesn't bother me. Mine doesn't squeek like the first versions were, so Giraffe Tools fixed that at least. I'm using MTM SGS28 with QDs, screw their original gun. Hose reel works with no issues, I never had any issues with it. Its locking mechanism works great, too. I added a 20amp separate circuit just for this washer, so I can't really tell what would happen if one had it on a 15amp along with some other stuff plugged in. Oh, and their Giraffe Tools logo falls off. Of course, I told them that, but they disregarded my message after my previous attempts to get some other answers about other things. Matt, I've spent close to $2500 just for the prevost piping setup I've built. Investing so much and going with a shitty washer like GT is a rape right here, but I did what I did, had to cut corners somewhere. In general, I'm happy with this washer, although it needs some improvements. Plus, I can't compare it to anything else except SunJoe, never used Krenzle or AR or any others, so I might not know if grass is greener on the other side.
I wish Active would make one of these using the 2.0 pump with something like a Flexzilla or Uberflex hose. That would be the perfect setup at a price that is somewhat affordable.
I watched this UA-cam video after owning the this Pressure washer for less than a year and it stopped working. Bad idea buying it , should have done my homework. 😢 What pressure washer is good for a weekend car washer that actually works well and lasts?
Thanks for reviewing these. I was intrigued by the convenient design of the Giraffe unit and was actually going to pull the trigger on one of these before I saw this vid.
Honestly they work great for the DIY washer at home but get a nice gun separate. Didn't want to pay $1000 plus for a good setup. I did have a problem with the Reel and they sent me a new one. Maybe the Active 2.0 next but Giraffe works great for me!
Hey Matt great video! Ive never used their more expensive units and its a shock to see the lack of performance at the price of these . I did a review on their new unit the G20 and for $200 it seemed to be a decent option for someone who wants an all in 1 unit where they dont have to mess with setting up everything separately. Although it peaked at about 15.60 amps with the nozzles it came with. With a 3.5 nozzle i was at about 950psi and close to 1.7 gpm which was very surprising to me. They sent me the unit and tried to get me to sign a contract which i said no thank you to, exactly for the same reason you just bought these... I wanted to be 100% honest in the review (i actually only took the unit from them because they werent available to purchase at the time and I wanted to test it out). Most of the accessories and casing i referred to as "fine" nothing great but again for the person that doesnt want to mess with extra upgrades it would get the job done. Anyways, thanks for shining some light on their more expensive units. As you said in the video, not everyone can afford a Kranzle but at 380 and 600 these ones are are not cheap by any means and that performance does not justify the price
I have no problem with Chinese manufacturing, but I have zero tolerance for Chinese shadiness. MaxShine, MJCC, Giraffe; they are all the same. Americans support I.P. theft in their own industries is insane.
@@ObsessedGaragemaxshine I totally understand but mjcc foam cannons are pretty good. I also don’t understand what shadiness you are referring to with mjcc and giraffe?
The moment you said 10K camera, 5K table, MacBook Pro to read a spreadsheet, then I understood where you are coming from. This video threw a wrench in my plans for choice of pressure washers initially as I am doing my garage makeover currently but I ultimately still went with this product. My analysis was that your use case and my use case are completely different. You don't even trust the Kranzle enough to not fail that you use 2 Kranzle inline (It makes zero sense to me) but I'm sure it is fantastic for your use case. For the 4 months of good weather we get here in Alberta Canada, the simplicity of the giraffe compared to the jerryrigging and all the individual pieces you have to purchase to use active 2 in the same fashion setup makes the giraffe a better value for me least in Canada. The active will costing additional 300 bucks at least by the time you are done with all the additional accessories. The giraffe is a very simple setup for the average home owner and I can easily pick it up on Amazon. For a professional detailer, then it might not be good . I just installed mine today. 30 days to see how I like it if not , I can return it at no cost and it.
@@ObsessedGarage I am really open to alternatives all in one solution in the same price with the excat same features that the giraffe offers as I already have a gas powered pressure washer from Simoniz for heavy duty stuff. I just need something for casual use. I hate having to bring out the pressure washer and start connecting hoses just to do a quick wash. I have searched with no luck. We don't get a good product selection here in Canada unlike you guys in the states. What specific model of Ryobi is that so I can go check it? I can still return the giraffe if I find a better alternative. I paid 350 bucks the non plus model of the giraffe.
I was looking for a reasonable response and after scrolling for 5 minutes yours is the only one that mirrors my sentiments. And a coincidence that I'm also from Alberta. This review completely overlooks the selling point of the Giraffe, not once does he talk about the fact that it is wall mounted all in one solution with 100ft hose. I've been using a cheap typical pressure washer from Home Depot for years, and I'm sick of carting out the power cable and extending the hose, and expending effort lifting the unit around the car. As far as I can see, if you want convenience, this is by far the CHEAPEST solution and it makes no sense to compare it against rolling pressure washers. The cheapest unit that OG sells is 3x the price of this Giraffe Pro I bought. I did appreciate the technical details about pressure washers in general, but I am willing to pay extra for the convenience and pay that trade off against a cheap motor. It is more than enough to wash my floors, deck and cars.
I have ran a $30 used ryobi 1600 I got from Facebook market place for a year now. I’ve done my patio, driveway, house and of course car washes and it still runs like a champ. I plan on going to an active when it dies but it just keeps going
Buyers tip, change your shipping address to your local landfill/dump and save yourself the hassle of doing that down the road. Love to see a partnership with Vince from shamwow on this thing ....order within the next 5 minutes and we'll throw in a shamwow...order in the next 60 seconds and we'll also include a water blade.
Had one of these on my wedding registry (currently sitting new in box) - 6 months later finally getting around to the garage setup and organization... Talk about a buzz kill, something told me this product was too good to be true... But now I can adapt my layout/plans to upgrade down the road when this ultimately fails. So glad I did not sell my original power washer.
I bought 2 of the giraffe hose reels and they are piles of S as well. Costco is much better for same price . Btw, which wall pressure washer should I buy? Under 600.00
So glad you posted this. I was looking between the Active 2.0 and the Giraffe and now I know clearly to avoid the Giraffe product. It has a nice form factor, so it would be nice if a company would do homeowners a solid and put something together for a reasonable price that combines form and function.
If a product doesn't do, what the manufacturer or dealer specifically says it does, send it back, used or not. Getting their products returned and having to pay for return shipments is the only thing that will stop them selling crappie products.
I love how much you hate these. I have one and have been satisfied so far. It's been 3-4 months and I wash cars 3-4 times a week and it still works, though i'm counting the days until it doesn't. What is a good alternative for something as compact and fully wall mounted? Im open to building something custom but I don't have much space to work with. I'm not willing to have a traditional pressure washer with all the wires and hose to drag around and store.
So with that being said whats the best wall mount pressure washer for the shop? Preferably with a hose reel? Sorry for my ignorance im new to your channel.
I’m kind of at a loss here. I watched most of this from the live so I was expecting that this video was going to either have Matt showing off his baseball bat skills smashing them into pieces or going off on an enraged tirade. Not sure if I’m sad it didn’t happen or happy to see that Mattie has some constraint 😂
Thanks so much for saving me! I've been wanting one of these things, because they look so good. And wall mounted too. Going to block them now, because they hammer me with ads.
Matt I appreciate your knowledge and the time you take to educate people who are doing their DD in quality products. I have a few projects around the house that I need to finish first, then pressure washer upgrade. I have your website on the ready with my cart full. Hopefully by the end of August.
Well I went ahead and bought the pro 3 months back and it seems to work great. I've only been using it for 2 months or so. Although I will admit that the metal brand name came off right away. I mounted it into a custom sound enclosure to keep it out of the weather and quiet. After 20min continuous use the enclosure does not heat up. It has more than enough power to wash our cars and also to remove paint and algae and stuff from surfaces around the house. It foams very well. Best of all it self coils in an instant making this regular chore a breeze. And for my situation I actually need the 100ft of hose. I paid $420 during Black Friday sale - seems to be available for $540 normally.
@@ObsessedGarage Wouldn’t order a replacement if it was out of warranty and broke. Just was pointing out the company was nice to deal with. For the basic car washing we do here it works for us but prolly gonna but the gas back into rotation when it goes out. That or a custom setup.
At my shop, it didn't last one prep. It was shedding metal and clogging the tip. And it also added 10 minutes to the rinse process. Lol. I guess I fell victim to project of advertisement..😅😅😅

Just been watching your giraffe pressure washer. Was going to buy one next week. Thank God I watched it. Can you tell me in your opinion for everyday use around the house once a week on the car average Joe kind of thing which is the best pressure washer to buy
Not sure why Matt says pressure washing and induction motors are the worst at 5:55...my AR Blue 630-TSS has an induction motor and it is fabulous. Both the Kranzle K1322TS and the Karcher 2100 PS have induction motors. On the other hand, the Active 2.0 and Karcher K1900 both utilize universal motors. Most higher power electric machines use an induction motor. Induction motors are heavier duty, produce more power, and last longer than universal motors. Universal motors are lighter, louder, and cheaper than induction motors.
I was actually just about to buy one. They have a 15% off sale now and because it sat in my cart for all of 5 mins they sent me an additional 10% off code! THank god I watched your video! "No Free Lunch"... I ran away! THANK YOU!
Thank you, I was about to purchase one of these. What would you recommend for about $500 or less? Currently looking at a Kärcher - K1800PS Cube and I'll upgrade the house and gun. Any help is appreciated Plan is to mount it to a shelf so it's permanent in the garage, I'll place the hose on a reel. Thank you
I bought this pressure washer a couple of months ago, based on good reviews, from some of the UA-camrs you referred to. I plumbed water to it, and I have to say that I really like it. I don't disagree that it's not powerful, but unlike your footage of the hose retracting poorly, mine is smooth and predictable. I liked it being an all in one wall mount unit and how handy it is. For washing cars, it has adequate power and is very handy. Had I seen your video before buying it, I would have bought something else. Having said that, for my use, I'm happy with it.
Thanks for your very professional video. But be careful NEVER touch the spray water from a gas powered pressure washer when you are testing these machines. I still remember my finger skin was cut when we made the QC nozzles about 20 years ago. Our test pressure was 2000PSI with a 40DEG nozzle.

Bought the Super Plus Plus+ Max Deluxe edition off amazon. It arrived, I saw this video and immediately returned it. Appreciate your honesty. I can say that knowing youll expose flaws in any product, not just this one. Don't lose sight of that.
Smart move!
People need more videos like this one. Refreshing.
You made the right call.
Making videos on poor quality products like this is very helpful and Matt should think about doing more to shine a bright spotlight on scam products/operations like these guys.
I don’t think it more about poor quality as it is price to value. There are much worse products out there when it comes to quality. The issue here is more about the price.
The best thing I can say about Matt's channel is that he manages to combine excellent content and quality advice while also being great entertainment
This is what I came here for. Brutal honesty that can’t be bought. Don’t ever change. You’ve created a place where people can go when they want the absolute best of the best of whatever you’ve set your laser focus on. Thank you!
Thanks man. At least somebody gets it.
@ people get things twisted in their heads. Just because someone has done the research doesn’t mean you must buy or that you can even afford said thing. Ultimately you are in control of your decisions and actions. Don’t shoot the messenger - learn from and appreciate the work he’s done. Pretty simple.
This introduction was almost as good as the corvette introduction 😂. I really like the editing
I can make a Kia faster than a 911. But…the 911 is still a 911. This pressure washer Chinese nonsense.
Giraffe tools suck
Joshv did a test using pressure gauges, and simple tests to gallons per minute. His results were: the largest and most expensive didn’t fare well in the test, the smaller less expensive one had decent results. Just because it doesn’t deliver the results that your $2000 unit does, doesn’t mean it is junk! Wow! To call people who may own one of these units idiots is ridiculous! Hopefully no one will buy from obsessed garage…the real idiots! No, I don’t own one of these!
So where do I buy?
Hilariousness aside, you really should do more of these. This will help MANY people and prevent them from wasting hard earned money. JMO for what it’s worth.
A customer asked me about this recently. Glad i can show them this now and say dont do it lol.
Crazy town.
You must be new here.
Yeah I haven't drank the Kool Aid

Matt thanks for taking the $1000 hit for us. I appreciate it.
Will you guys ever bring the courtesy rev shirt back? I've been trying to get one for ages.
2 days ago i added this to my Amazon cart but never checked out. So glad i didn’t……..went with a comet 1700 instead!
Bought the Comet from Matt nearly 2 years, has been flawless ever since
This solidifies my choice to just keep using my el cheapo Greenworks with an upgraded hose and gun until it breaks. I'll buy a GOOD one when the time comes.
I bought a simple leader hose from Giraffe, leaked like a sieve. Pure garbage. If they can not get a simple fitting to seal, how the hell are they going farther beyond that???
Matt, could you post the links to the above Giraffe products as I cannot locate them on your website, please?
I would like to honour the source!
Ha....
Mtm handle and swivel connection needed to be mentioned. It’s comfortable and does everything I want it to. I think the whole ordeal was $300.
That is the best cheap pressure washer.
I've got a Timecutter and Dixie Chopper. They both cut grass. But damn if the Dixie Chopper isn't better in every way... X 2.
Thanks, Matt. Your review deserves a plus plus.
Damnit I just finished hanging mine on the wall I also noticed the he pressure was weaker than my green works 1700. I guess it’s going back in the box
Link to the pressure washers?
Not happening.
Ha, ha... Why in the world are you people buying this stuff? I've laid out exactly what you should get from inexpensive to the best.
Is there any GOOD electric wall mounted washers on the market?
The Comet is one that we recommend that has a built in hose reel. www.obsessedgarage.com/products/comet-static-1700-extra-portable-solution
Ordered two, thanks!
That one is terrible. It is the same as the Briggs and Stratton. They were some of the worst I tested. I'd rather have the $90 Ryobi 1600 over that.
Which pressure washer does he use?
What pressure washer is good for a weekend car washer that actually works well and lasts?
Thanks for reviewing these. I was intrigued by the convenient design of the Giraffe unit and was actually going to pull the trigger on one of these before I saw this vid.
Honestly they work great for the DIY washer at home but get a nice gun separate. Didn't want to pay $1000 plus for a good setup. I did have a problem with the Reel and they sent me a new one. Maybe the Active 2.0 next but Giraffe works great for me!
Agreed! I went through 4 of them. It got to the point to where I did not want anymore replacements due to the work involved mounting them. lol!
My VE52 just blew up. I’m excited I finally get to purchase a kranzle

@@jpmavichanawhy the kranzle? What benefits are you wanting to get over the unit you already have?
That is the worst pressure washer I ever tested. You wasted your money. I would have recommended an $80 Ryobi with your logic.
They just released an Upgraded Pro version that comes with 3300 Psi motor for $699
I have ran a $30 used ryobi 1600 I got from Facebook market place for a year now. I’ve done my patio, driveway, house and of course car washes and it still runs like a champ. I plan on going to an active when it dies but it just keeps going
That's a much better way to go than this.
OG testing proved the Ryobi and Karcher are the best under $200.

So glad I did not sell my original power washer.

So glad you posted this. I was looking between the Active 2.0 and the Giraffe and now I know clearly to avoid the Giraffe product. It has a nice form factor, so it would be nice if a company would do homeowners a solid and put something together for a reasonable price that combines form and function.
Make sure if you do the Active 2.0 and you modify you accessories that you do the right orifices. 1.25mm on the foam cannon and 5.0 on the gun.
Hey. They have a vacuum now too in similar form-factor. Lol

This would take a year to clean a driveway. You'd do better washing you car with a hose.

Hello, when you say induction motor is the worst in pressure washing. Isnt the kranzle an induction motor?
It is. I’m talking about the cheap ones.. I’ve found it’s hard for companies to make a cheap one work well. Universal motors are easy to make cheap.
@@ObsessedGarage ok mate 👍👍 don't suppose you have seen the pressure washer from direct hoses.. B9V2 it's called. Looks like a very good package and the flow, if accurate looks good. I'm intrigued to see what it's really like
LMAO 😂😂 $500 for that? My karcher k1900 has an induction motor which has held up great over the last 2 to 3 years. Biggest two annoying things about it is the ramp up/down and the low gpm.
Low gpm? You washing sidewalks or buildings?
I'm talking about the sub $400 pressure washers.
I was actually just about to buy one. They have a 15% off sale now and because it sat in my cart for all of 5 mins they sent me an additional 10% off code! THank god I watched your video! "No Free Lunch"... I ran away! THANK YOU!

The Karcher K1700 is the best consumer grade Karcher. Active 2.0 would be your best choice under $500.
