This is one of the best fully body workout videos I've seen. I like how Obi keeps it simple and doesn't use too many scientific terms-it's not impressive, it just confuses a lot of the people these videos are meant for. Thanks for making such a helpful video.
Shout out to you Obi, I have been training in some form or another throughout my life as a person that played rugby, indoor footy, distance running... But since pandemic and family, work and study. I found myself with minimal time to workout. Your full body workouts have been a saving grace for me... The EMOMs are elite thank you.
I have started your crossliftr and Incredible TRAINING PROGRAM 🙏 Thank you COACH 🙏💪 Obi changed my life with these 3 training programs and I found myself with these programs. 🙏
Great content, well worth the wait!! Thank you so much for your guidance and inspiration from not only working out but daily life in general. Getting out, even if we feel introverted, practicing self care, awareness and staying authentic to self. Thank you for every second that you share with us.
Was in the gym today and heard this guys voice saying “squeeze it like it owes you money” when I was performing some shitty reps, coincidentally uploaded, works well lmao - nice content
Top tier as per usual. I'm currently on a bulk and I find adding full body workouts like this makes the process more enjoyable. I also treat them as a reset especially when I've missed a few days of training.
Here is my full-body plan that I love! You can do how many time through the week as you want. Remember to take at least 2 days off to recover once a week. Squat Deadlift Pull ups Rows Chest press Shoulder press Lateral raise Leg raise Calve raises Use a barbell for everything apart from shoulders and calves. Do between 8-10 reps 4-5 sets the first one with no weight and increase weight each set. This workout should take just over an hour. Try to take minimum rest to make it difficult.
The half/full squats were brutal. I'm so sore today, lol! Oddly, really like how they helped me get deeper in my squat. I'm keeping that exercise in my rotation for sure.
This is the first video I've seen of yours and I loved it! I really like that you include a conditioning portion at the end because I find AMRAP a lot of fun too, but have never seen it paired with weight training in the same workout. It's cool to know it won't hurt my gains ;) Thank you so much for the video, it is not just helpful but also so generous of you to share this with us for free.
Just found your channel and ive watched 3 videos one after the other! So refreshing to see a coach that blends different styles of training together, I'm here for it 💪
I prefer full body workouts. Been doing it for maybe 5 years now. I find that it’s better for recovery and growth (for me!). I don’t get sore unless I’m really pushing it. And I get to hit all of my muscle groups 5 days a week instead of 1 or 2 times. Works for me and it shows. It’s also great for people who can only workout a couple days a week or if you have a hectic schedule. I love working legs, so I always start there if I can and then go from large muscle groups to smaller so that I can maximize on my lifts
Tried the workout today Obi...and I love, love, loved it. Was a bit disappointed in my performance during the Metcon, only managed to do 2 rounds and stopped way before 8 mins was up..but I feel absolutely great. Thanks Obi, appreciate you man!
@obi Vincent thank you for consistently providing great and inspirational content! I have been combining your workouts, especially legs into my regimen for a little over a month and definitely seeing gains!!
that amrap alone is a killer! I use your app and when I see 4 sets stacked up after a full warm-up and then (for dessert) an amrap I question my life's purpose hahaha
Hi Obi, these full body workouts are the best, please post more of them. Are these to be executed back to back as a giant set or each exercise 3 times then move to the other? Thank you 🙏
Hi Obi. Firstly I want to say you that your channel is amazing…congratulations. I have a question for you. In your opinion, what is the better way for full body workout?, doing a complete round of every single exercises, and repeating it, for example…3 times?, or, to repeat 3 times each exercise, until complete every muscle groups? Thank you so much, and best regarás. And I wish you can train very soon.
Loving the content . Would you recommend this workout for someone who is over 30 and trying to lose weight after a bad bulk period? Furthermore, how many sessions can you do a week with this workout ?Thank you .
Hi, just done this workout and really enjoyed it. Out of curiosity though, for your tri-sets, are you doing these like giant sets as in 1 set of one exercise on to the next or doing all 3 sets of one exercise before moving on to the next? Thanks in advance
Obi I noticed your often working out alone. Do you have your gym bros that you work out with. And what motivates you to stay so fit when you train alone? Cheers, brother!
Hey Obi, I'm curious if a ~5 min kettlebell warmup would work well before a barbell/lifting sesh? If so, I'd be interested what you think the best movements would be to target specific muscle group warmups.
Hi Obi hope you well. Just a quick one, think there is a scammer on your comment section, as even though I ignore it they claim that I have won a prize and to get in contact. I know you don't run any comps but thought you should be aware.
Thanks, unfortunately i try and block but they make more pages. The best thing is people should read the username name as its always random names with numbers
Hi Obi, Thanks for including your warm up routines I’ve been trying them out. I have a question if possible, Any tips on preventing leaning a bit forward while squatting? (Note: I have a flat foot and a longer thighs to torso, and I do wide stance squat)
Great workout Obi! Just wondering do you ever train heavy? Like In the 3-5 rep range,or do you mostly just superset stuff with more volume? Appreciate the workout videos you put out there for us 🙏
Yes but not too often. I tend to incorporate those with my oly lifting sessions. Which if i were to film for UA-cam wont really do well as most people on my channel don’t oly lift! Lol
Thanks for the reply obi! Goes to show that you don’t need to lift heavy day in day out to stimulate muscle growth. Love your videos and your style of training 👊
I’m going to try this tomorrow, and call in sick from work and life beforehand.
