DUMBING UP... I don't know what to say... GOODBYE DUMBO, BANG, EGYPTOLOGY... most bands can't hit 3 great album collections in their careers so DUMBING UP's slide might be predictable. But in these recent weeks (Mar 10, 2024... sigh), those three continue to occupy my car-trips and rooms. Just like they did for months when I first discovered them.

Karl loved the Beatles, and this song is obviously a heavy Beatles influence.
Karl also hated being compared to ELO (Jeff Lynne).
Great album but it failed to capture a larger publc's interest and marked the "end" of sorts of WP.
funny now liam G is riding high on similiar ( but no where near as good sentiment ? ) karl as always ahead timeless - x ❤
