Native of MN and have been in the iron range quite a bit, so the DM&IR was one of the coolest engines! Great job with the video! That’s an awesome collection you got!
Now it's time to run your smallest steam engines and your diesels. I really enjoy your videos. You have a great layout in. Consider putting on a track layout camera on one of your engines to see what it is like going around your layout. Thank you for your enthusiasm and knowledge of this hobby and sharing it with all of us. Great job Chris. 👍
The N&W Y6B was my favorite!! I loved the shot at 19:45 of the Super Duper Set traveling across the bridge. More shots at that angle please! As always keep up the great work. Your videos are what got me back into the hobby last year.
Happy 2nd Anniversary on UA-cam RBP Chris! You really have taken the O gauge hobby to a new level over the last couple of years. Thanks for the inspiration and your enthusiasm toward the hobby. I think I speak for all of your viewers and subscribers. Hope to meet you one day and I’ll try to get over to York one of these days too from Central Ohio!
Very nice. You know that some of your rolling stock wouldn't have been heard of or created then to accompany your steam engines. The Chessie System was a merger of the Western Maryland, The C&O and the B&O Railroads. They later became the CSX after merging with the Seaboard Coastline of Florida. If realism is at hand. Keep on trucking...
Hi Chris, great video! My favorite steamer was your "Super Dooper vision set. Excellent videography and narration on this video. Thanks for introducing us to Timmy. That kid is a riot..
Congrats on your 2nd anniversary on UA-cam, Chris! You are always a favourite presenter for me and many others. You cheerful enthusiasm is always welcome. You have so much fun with your collection and it's always a pleasure to watch those magnificent models running on the layout. Thanks for featuring steam this time (my all around favourite). Here's to year #3 of sharing and showing the best in O gauge model collecting!
I think the shot at 19:43 is my favorite. On top of the view of the double header, the cherry on top was how you could see all the individual cars sway back and forth as they go across the rougher track. Looked kinda realistic.
I just discovered your channel by accident. You have an absolutely spectacular layout. It totally blew my mind watching this video. The cinematography was awesome. I can’t even imagine how much time and effort it took to build your layout let alone the cost of your trains, and the layout is extremely well done, and I can’t tell you how much pleasure it was watching this video. your sound effects are incredible. I remember the Christmas I got an electric train and how much fun it was and how we had it under the tree every year but that’s as far as it went I used to love to go to the hobby store, and look at the trains, but I never got into it. Your video brings back. Lots of memories of how much fun and how spectacular your hobby is. Thank you so much. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank you for sharing them.
Thank you for the awesome video. My favorite articulated locomotive is the UNION PACIFIC BIG BOY 4-8-8-4. Next in line is the UNION PACIFIC CHALLENGER 4-6-6-4. Those locomotives were the first articulated locomotives I was exposed to. In 1966 I my first UNION PACIFIC BIG BOY by AHM my Brother John purchased, it cost a whopping $50.00
Nothing better then watching some big steam rolling down the line. Seeing the Big Boy and Challenger gives me some ideas when I get my brass hybrid light "hotdog" Challenger and vision line grayhound Big Boy. I'm going to need more freight cars. The DM&IR Yellowstone, Black Bonnet 2-10-10-2, Pennzy S1 and, a UP Heavy Challenger are on the collection wishlist, along with the midnight chief passenger cars. Great video as always, keep'em rolling.
Enjoyed, savored😀, amazed with each and every segment from head loco to last car hook-up with more smoke than your weekend bar at their "peak-hour"! I can hardly wait til the next train comes chugging by!
Another great video Chris. I really enjoyed watching those large steam engines run. I also enjoy when you throw in the history of each engine. It makes me feel like I'm having fun and learning something at the same time. I really like your sense of humor in.
Chris my internet train friend nice to see another video nice work enjoy your trains very much even though they are ALOT BIGGER THAN MINE Hope you had a great week THANKS FOR SHARING GOD BLESS HAPPY RAILROADING ;-)
You certainly put on a great show of your steam locomotives and your collection is impressive. My all time favorite articulated is the C&O Allegheny. I have a Sunset 3rd Rail late Allegheny in O scale, cab no. 1647. I am not a fan of the C&O standard single note freight whistle. The DM&IR Yellowstone is my second favorite articulated. I have several recordings of those engines and love their chime whistles. They were impressive! Thanks for all your efforts and I look forward to future videos.
HiChris. Great video. I really enjoyed the cut-outs of yourself that you added to the trains and the layout. It was fun watching for them. Made my day.
Thanks Jerome! Going to give some more info on the Mini Me figure that you saw in this video in my next video. Bit of a random event that lead me to that one. Take care!
I think you really have to love Lionel and 3 rail O scale in general when there's 2 rail O scale which is such a realistic scale to model... In my opinion of course!
Hi Chris! What a wonderful video. You are an inspiration. I love the work you have done on the layout. Your mountains and the valley between them are exceptional. It was great to hear Timmy too. I really like the Allegheny, but my favorite articulated locomotive is the B&O EM-1. Thank you, Chris for another very entertaining video! Bill B.
Thanks Bill! Trying to use some of the methods you shared with me at York last Fall. Constant trial and error for me but the scenery stuff has proven to be more forgiving that I planned. Timmy is a riot! Hope all is well my friend!
I liked the big hot dog train. I also liked the valley through the mountains you created for the train line. Your model railroading skills have evolved. Your layout is looking very nice.
I have learned so much from this guy. Maybe go over track switches and how they work. When I get started. I want a lionel big boy set. I want an Erie triplex. Maybe a stratus 90 or blue comet. I need 1 year to save money. I'll keep in touch. Mean while....keep the info coming. Great job.
Your trains are always fascinating to watch. Especially your C&O Allegany engine. I can't wait to take a trip next weekend behind C&O 1309 on the Frostburg Flyer.
First view of your layout which is very impressive. Your camera angles, locatios, and video editing are awesome, nice work, very easy and enjoyable to watch. I still have my first Lionel that I got for Christmas when I was 11 years old, that was 1953. Two special cars I got are the generator light car and the work crew car.. Your video editing is terriffic, keep up the great videos.

Nice video, RBP! My favorite articulated steam engine is: Norfolk And Western Class "A" #1218! Love its hooter whistle, and I do believe Lionel released a model of it recently. (I've seen it on the cover of one of their recent catalogs.). Anyway, I used to watch VHS tapes of N&W 1218 (And J Class 611) and TV programs of it on RFD-TV's "Trains and Locomotives" when I was little.
