09.11.21 - They prayed for they even started the pregame show!! THIS is what I love and miss about Tennessee!! Sigh. But we need to talk... How in the world is it that University of Michigan still takes the cake for this year's classiest pregame and half time show to commemorate the day and pay tribute to those who lost their lives as well as those civil servants who helped tirelessly for weeks on end. Michigan has the classiest spiel I've heard yet when it comes to announcing the national anthem. Come on UT - you had one chance, you knew the day was coming, you've been practicing all summer, this was not a surprise... you could have come up with a much better pregame show and halftime too that paid tribute to America and those affected on 9/11. We are southerners who love our country, we are Volunteers with a reputation and a history of love for this land, we are Tennessee and we are patriotic Americans from our roots up. Are you really going to let a northern university outdo you like this? We're better than that... I thought we were at least.
