A lot of people took speed for granted.. Ever since tesla released their model s plaid, it changed people's views about cars.. They don't care about other aspects anymore.. they just want two things: -tech -neck-breaking 0-60 time
It looks cool, but I see too many comments from owners of Hyundai/Kia that have major engine & transmission problems. Plus a couple of the professional shop channels on here do not recommend buying Hyundai or Kia vehicles. 😑
@@ytj22They’ve had some issues, which they will work through. We’ve had two and they’ve been flawless at 80k & 75k miles. They are a well designed car. People tend to exaggerate the issues while totally ignoring the major issues that the ‘quality’ leaders Honda and Toyota have had. They have a strong warranty and are reasonably priced.
@@JayBD626 quality issues have been ignored from Toyota and Honda? Have you been on the internet? Having said that, in this segment, the RAV4 has far fewer concerns than this half-hearted attempt. It's ok to accept that it isn'their best offering. And 80k miles already! That is a TON of driving!
that Santa Fe is evolutionary because it's cooler and boxier, but the 3rd row standard is another big win. but despite the recalls, i'm gonna let the HYUNDAI Group do their thing. well done Hyundai
Transmissions are fine. It was faulty control unit programming that caused the transmissions to be damaged. Recall issued for all affected units, so things should be good to go.
I’m a Hyundai/Kia hater because they used to copy their styling from the Germans and Land Rover. This thing has features that some luxury automakers don’t have, great MPG and on-road performance… What more do we really need?
I’m surprised Under Armour hasn’t sued Hyundai for the shape of their running lights. Seems more of the same Hyundai. Cover shoddy mechanical devices and poor quality with pretty decor and decent pricing.
Ford called, they want their Flex back 😂 Incidentally, I own a 2018 Flex Limited EB. Love it! I wish they had made it long enough to have put the 10 spd in it.
I remember when 0-60 in 7 seconds was fast!
7 seconds is plenty fast enough for sane people
Hyundai turbo motors are rated as whp not hp. My stock kona dyno’d 276 whp stock which is above 300 in hp.
I know, not that long ago that was sport compact acceleration numbers..
My wife thinks 7 seconds is way too quick.
If you know what I mean.

I've seen these in person, and they really do not look that bad. Pretty cool actually. The Cyber Truck however is hideous.
You say it has Range Rover inspired styling but I think it is more Ford Flex inspired styling.

"it looks cool". I don't think you've seen it from the back yet.

With Santa Fe, April to July production only. Excluded hybrid. Lazy Alabama plant workers issue
the rear tail lights make me think, 90's Geo Metro. How low they are on the rear gate.

Like the looks but hate the taillights.
La mejor y la más tecnológica de su segmento saludos desde República Dominicana 💪💪💯💯 HYUNDAI SANTA FE
Did they fix the transmission yet?
Honda? I don't think so

styling reminiscent of Isuzu Axiom also
With the majority of cars being crossover/suvs nowadays, having the taillights that low is risky.
That is minimized by the requirement of a high mounted center stop light for the last several decades.
It may look funny, but at least it’s big.
Santa fe used to look nice
Bro I seriously thought the thumbnail was of a brand new Ford Flex
It reminds me of a Datsun from the 80's.
Compared with BMW X5, Audi Q7, Mercedes GLE, Tesla Model X, Toyota Crown Signia, Nissan Murano, Honda Passport & Others Midsize SUV
The rear lights is a downer.
Eco smart materials = Naugahyde + low rent plastic
Went to the dealership to check them out...They are very sharp in person
I get 40mpg in my AWD SEL all day long. Love it
Weight: almost 6000 pounds.
Engine: turbo-charged 4-banger
Clutch: DUAL-clutch
Anyone can be an engineer nowadays.
The previous generation with the 2.5T was faster
Geo metro rules
This vehicle has the UGLIEST rear end of any car in recent history!
The rear is hideous
Recall on the Hybrid no? Motorweek does not mention those!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s one ugly car

NO SKID PLATES
Skid plate is available as a port installed option
Don’t be fooled it is trash!
Allen. Is that you?
This SUV is the best new year's gift ever 🎆
My son in law loves his new Santa Fe.
@@victorstewart-ro6gc But do you buy it?
Luxury garbage

I wonder if Hyundai will start selling jockstraps
since Under Armour doesn't want to anymore.
That’s just nuts.😁

Ford Flex in an OtterBox.
Hopefully the paint will stick to this body unlike the last generation Sante fe 😂😂😂
The DCT has ALREADY proven itself to be VERY PROBLEMATIC !!
JUNK
Troll.
Pretty bold from a guy whose countries Honda's are getting recalled again. You really need to get new material
@@moejr1974 i agree with you on that too, but Allen still keeps coming back, when is it gonna stop?
@ he’s too thick in the head to stop.
@@moejr1974 of course he is.
A bigger sized Honda Element? Sorry, no thumbs up for that Volvo wanna bee.
God, the rear end of these things looks awful.
Ripped off Land Rover for looks.
My 22 Sonata just hit it's 3rd motor in 49k miles so I think I'll pass on this fugly monstrosity
Which engine?
