Whats sad is Nissan is finally getting things together, and is months away from failure. Armada looks great, the KICKS and Sentra are getting really great impressions, the Altima looks good and has AWD (though needs a hybrid and power bump), and they haven't had CVT issues(at least not more than Honda or Subaru) since like 2015 at this point. Finally on a good bath just in time for it to possibly not matter anymore.

It was about time, but anyone who knows Nissan well enough, remembers long life cycles of incumbency. Y60 had 10 years, Y61 had nearly 13 years, and Y62, 14 years. Very well designed and finally here after beginning development in 2018 and finalized in 2021. Anyone wishing for a new Xterra, will have to wait for Nissan to stabilize and for the current overseas "Terra" to be due for redesign. Next generation Navara and Frontier, will reunite and only that can bring an Xterra return.

Pleasing, but not groundbreakingly new styling. Has elements from last gen Tahoe and even the Expedition. I've always liked this and the Infinity versions. The rugged 5.6 Endurance motor will be missed for its power and reliability, but not its lackluster gas mileage. I wonder if a hybrid system is next ala Ford PowerBoost.
Super nice truck but the turbo engine is a dealbreaker. As a former Toyota loyalist, I opted for a NA V6 Frontier over Toyota’s crappy 4 and 6 cylinder turbo engines in the Tacoma and Tundra. You will never see space shuttle miles out of any turbo engine. Nissan should have stuck with their tried and true V8.

@B86432 That's not automakers' problem. When a domestically built, loaded up Pathfinder Armada LE 4WD was $45k in October 2003 and base SE 2WD was $33k. Against today's imported Armada, now no longer based on a crude pickup, but a global fullsize luxury SUV, a $3k increase in price via inflation adjusted figures is acceptable. Nissan isn't a charity and struggling in fact, to get to stable financial performance. You don't need a fullsize. Get something you can afford, if $59k is too much for a large vehicle like this.

Even a loaded 2004 Highlander Limited or base 2004 Pathfinder cost way more than $30,000 in 2003 money before options, let alone larger new '04 Pathfinder Armada. A loaded 1st year was $45k. Where's the logic and evidence in all of these comments? Missing as usual. This is priced correctly and any of you upset, are not being realistic.
@@nwezetx1 RAV's when I bought in 2016 were just under 30k for high trim SE and 26k for medium trim XLE. We bought 2 on a tremendous dealer incentive for model year end. Still driving today. Surely cheaper in 2003.
Thank Goodness they didn't do what VW did with the Atlas and a bunch of their other cars and put all of the HVAC controls into the screen and behind finicky touch-sensitive sliders.
